    Whiners

Instead of whining L2P. PvP is not complicated but because you do not understand the WZ you are playing or the classes you are opposing, please stop coming on the forums and whining that you are not gawd. If you are if are in a pug expect to lose/win. but stop whining on the forums.
  2. There are quality pvp tanks, no they don't need a buff. That is akin to saying a healer needs a buff. sorry a good tank can swap guard, use interrupts, change targets, use pulls/CC. This is L2P issue.
  3. I am not sure on this. I will test it out on a new toon
  4. There seems to be a lot of new PVP'er's which is good for the community. Assist them
  5. Healers are not the issue. It is the ability to cap and defend. Most pugs go for dps/kills. There are some valid points raised but they are play style, not healer specific. This is a L2P issue
  6. To the theme of the thread. I am one of those "bads" because I need to learn the 4 man which is totally different to the 8 man. One mistake or one lapse of "area awareness" does make or break a 4 man. But the only way to become better in 4 mans is to play ranked. I know I am not good yet, but the attitude of most other players is full on negative. I would do more ranked to get better and develop that aspect of my pvp, but the feedback is not feedback, it is generally abuse. I actually want to do ranked, but when I put my toe in the water and try to learn, the abuse is not worth it. I am not interested in comms etc. I just want to have fun, but the people who do rank are not conductive to newcomers, and those that do communicate, do so with ........................... (you can fill the blank in). I really think more would do ranked it those such as myself who need to learn were not the subject of abuse for trying.

    Faceroll Healing

"I know I'm not the first person to say this and I won't be the last, but healing, especially when combined with guard, is way over the top right now. It's, frankly, ridiculous." Healers are not op with guard, there are ways to neutralise the combo of tank-healer. I play all three specs, it normally comes down to the people you are with not combo of tank-healer. "This isn't fun. You can have the best gear possible as a DPS and the ridiculous amount of healing can make it seem like you're swinging a wiffle bat at an elephant. The amount of healing isn't the only problem; it's also how insanely easy it is to heal while having barely any idea what you're doing. You can be a completely raw rookie keyboard turner but still pump out a massive amount of healing by rolling your face on your keyboard. When you add a competent tank with guard into the mix, healers become nigh invincible. Maybe you don't think dps should not be able to kill a healer by themselves, but surly it shouldn't take an entire team to kill a single healer. If the other team has 2 or 3 healers, you can forget killing anyone." A good healer is not a "keyboard turner." A good healer is some one who does well. The matchmaking is a SEPERATE ISSUE THAT HEALERS/DPS/TANKS HAVE NO CONTROL OVER.

    Good News

Every damned thread on this sub-forum seems negative. For once, I would like some good news from PVPERS. This is not about FOTM, some L33T, blah blah blah. I would like to hear your positives as there is a very active community who enjoys pvp. Tell you story that is good, for the PVP community. Thank a tank as a healer who protected you, DPS who killed that person focusing you, welcome new persons who are trying to learn like the thread of "PVP a day". As a community the negative out weighs the positive. I want to hear you good stories. I will post mine later. I will post my positive after tonight.
  9. Okay just my two cents with since Eric said it was still on the drawing board. 1. Lethality - make final skill also include the ability to go in cover and resist pulls/leaps 2. Concealment - they regain 0.5% HP per second that acid blade is still active on an opponent but is non stack able.
  10. *** Disclaimer bad typer, and not a person to care to much ***** Many other post have covered a lot of the same, just I don't want to be part of the yes/no crowd. There are guilds that gear/level or even focus on various aspects on pvp ... ranked or non WZ Why should any be excluded, the programming is already there and you change the rules without thinking of those you affect? ***? I understand there are a lot of concerns due to pvp, but making a unilateral decision that affects your west coast/oceanic base without even putting it up for review for a few months, *** were you thinking? The idea of 4V4 is great ..... the idea of 8v8 is already in place, but you never took it to the next levell. Stop penalizing us as players for your failure.
  11. Get as much BH gear as you can. Forget the WH weapon to start with. You can have 4/5 BM peices depending on what you select. Mix this with recruit gear and you will be "okay" healing to start. Depending on your play time, you can get the rest of BM fairly quickly. This will this will allow you to become a decent to good healer because of expertise increase. If you went WH weapon first, it will set you back IMO.
  12. With respect to point 1, I really dont think this is valid. The time it takes to level 10-15 in pvp is limited. I would even suggest the time it takes to pvp from 10-15 is the same as it takes to level from 1-10. People tend not to stay long if there if nothing to achieve further, why waste you free time???? Letting poeple level to 15 should have a minimal impact, even if they stay at level 15 for 3 months to stay F2P, they will getter better at playing, even if they are not getting any more abilities.
  13. Healing is fine post 1.2. I really think there is more balance. The difference is you get to know who are good players vs bad players. Those that were good before, now appear to excel, whist those that were bad before and you could not tell, are now easily to tell
  14. Okay to throw a curve ball out there, I run a 22/0/19 build. Two reasons for this build, i.e. utility and energy management in pvp. The build has served me well in pve, but my main focus has alwys been pvp. There are two healers better at AoE heals, so why try to duplicate them? We are outright the best single target healers in the game. But to be so, we are heavily energy dependent. By refocusing into 0/0/19 this solves the energy problem, but also adds a utility factor to Ops healers in pvp. I now have access to an AP with 30 sec less cool down (damned imperative in pvp IMO), reduced stim boost timer with additional energy bonus. Additonal AoE with movement debuff or +8% crit buf to periodic effects. This is excellent for corrosive dart or HoT's. With the addition of an additonal AoE, I am better able to interupt others trying to capture doors/guns etc .... Main down side with this spec, it sux in hut ball
  15. I am a agent op healer playing under 50's WZ .... my disclaimer I have becone to notice other healers who are using abilities to heal but only on full health people and not participating in general of the WZ, but focusing on full health people and continually heal them. Is this an abuse and regular? Are they just trying to boost their stats for MVP points even when they dont count sub-50?
