  1. Will there be permission settings for personal strongholds? eg - my girl friend and I want to share an apartment. Is there any way to add her to a list that lets her edit decorations, bring friends in, etc?
  2. Imperial “Homefront” Event ((Begeren Colony)) What: Player-organized scavenger hunt, contest, and social event. Who: You!! Invite all your friends; the more, the merrier. When: Friday, January 10th @ 8:00pm Pacific (PST) Where: Event begins in the Nexus Room Cantina, Kaas City. No entry fee! No level requirement! No guild-membership requirement! RSVP: Strongly requested. Gives us an idea how many to expect, and if the event fills, it guarantees your spot. You may reply to this thread with your Character Name, or you may in-game message “Homefront”, to sign-up. Come celebrate the New Year and the 2nd anniversary of the <Imperial Northwestern Front>! Join us for a night of fun, player-organized and directed shenanigans, while competing for a number of prizes worth many millions of credits. Fancy a Tythonian saber? A Max-Tac Rifle? A huge pile of credits? Underworld relics and armorings crafted to your specifications? All that and more will be up for grabs on the night of the event! ----------------------- Interested yet? Of course you are. Here’s how the build-up is going to work. --> Within 36 hours of RSVPing for the event, you will get an information packet and confirmation in your in-game mailbox. It will have a summary of the rules, some tips, and a few reminders. --> 3 days before the event, you will receive your team assignment. “Teams” have light RP and are distinguished by who sent you to the event. (e.g. Darth Marr or Keeper might each send a team.) You will receive an in-character message/ info packet that tells you a bit about your team. (Everyone is assigned to a team randomly. No, you may not pick your team in advance. Meet some new people. Optional mumble access will be provided to facilitate groups.) ----------------------- On the night of the event, it’s best to think of the event in 3 stages. --> Part 1 is the ‘mixer’. You will show up at the Nexus Room knowing your team assignment but not much else. Your “quest objective” for the mixer is to meet up with your team. Talk with your fellow contestants, look for your team-members… but be careful who you trust and be discrete! If a competing team is able to discern who has sent you to the event, your team will have an extra task to complete later on in the competition. --> At some point after 8:00pm, there will be a staged ‘cutscene’ by the GameMasters, and the event will progress to Part 2. All of the teams who have found each other will immediately depart on the next stage. Part 2 is a multi-leg scavenger hunt/ trivia hunt that will take you to every corner of the galaxy. You will interact with GameMaster(s) at each location. Take note!! = Each GameMaster has been given a set of conditional responses to your actions. You may end up with a harder or easier challenge, or a vague or specific clue depending on how you interact with them. This can dramatically impact your chances of success, so chose wisely! --> After a third or more of the teams have completed the scavenger hunt, everyone will return to the Nexus Cantina for the party. We will award the grand prize to the team that finished the scavenger hunt first. We will also raffle off various other worthy and tasty prizes. This raffle is open to anybody who was on a team that cleared the half-way mark of the hunt. Hang out, relax, and give us feedback on what we can do to make the next one better! ----------------------- Cheers, all! I hope you are even half as excited to take part as I am to run it! Questions? Post below or mail “Scottie” in-game! Don’t forget to RSVP, and see you on the 10th! ^_^
  3. CZ-198 Security Officer Application 1. Please tell us a little about yourself. Why do you want to be a part of the Czerka family? Ex-republic specforce. I hear you have good medical insurance. The army's sucks. 2. At Czerka, we pride ourselves on our accomplishments. Please name three of your accomplishments that you are most proud of. (Please do not include family milestones such as marriages or the birth of your children.) I have arm-wrestled a wookie, wooed a sith, and beat a chiss at dejarik... at the same time, while drunk on Sullustan gin, and taking a holocall from my mistress. 3. How did you go about achieving the accomplishments above. Would you say you would do "whatever it takes" for success? Is this a trick question. Natural talent. and yes. 4. Would you say you have a strong moral compass? Do you think this could get in the way of your job, should you be asked to do something...questionable? Moral compa...? What.. Is that some sort of navigation device? 5. You are about to enjoy our wide variety of complimentary cocktails and snacks, when you notice that your esteemed colleague's newest experiment is likely to break out of their confines while you are gone. How would you handle this situation? Well, I would look at the marvelous buffet that you have generously provided for us, select the most scrumptious looking dish, throw half of it at the experiment, throw the other half at my least favorite person in the room, and leave... sealing the door behind me, of course. -Rick
  4. Thanks all for your in-game messages. I've arranged to buy one already. (10mil, if anyone is curious)
  5. As the title says, I am very interested in purchasing a Cartel Luxury Skiff. Please contact Scottie (imp-side) [or Bellavern on the pub-side, though I am less likely to see this one] if you'd be amenable to selling/ trading. Cheers all, Scottie
  6. Yea, we have endured the endless Cartel Market updates with the promise that we were getting new content with 1.7; but, when 1.7 launched it has a half-finished reputation system and a re-skined daily area and a PvP mechanic that is more conducive to forming queues than it is to fighting. I love SWTOR and wont be leaving anytime soon, but it feels like the devs are just squeezing as much money as they can out of Cartel Packs, ignoring everything else, and then are going to let the game die. It really seems like recently I have been enjoying the game in-spite of the devs, not because of them.
  7. No new quests for Gree at either Friend or Hero, and companions cannot wear reputation gear. = x2 Am I missing something?
  8. No, a better comparison would be: Lord = ~ Knight Darth = ~ Master but even still, the OP is right, "Darth"s are supposed to be fairly rare. "Lord"s are the bulk of the non-apprentice Sith; it is VERY rare for a Lord to have a master
  9. Yea, using the House Organa Cantina is fun - it's so much better than the Thul one.
  10. Yup; (un)fortunately, the bases are "Sanctuary" Zones so you can't attack, but it was still fun having dance parties and watching the pubs try to figure out what was going on
  11. Scottie:  NOWHERE on Ilum is safe from the Empire! Force Sprint, a flying leap, and then Force Push = Imps inside the republic base. Fear us, filthy pubs, the empire is taking over! http://assets.enjin.com/wall_embed_images/1361085977_Screenshot_2013-02-16_22_57_36_803709.jpg The Empire is taking control, I advise you all to leave immediately before more Imperial Troops arrive! (Begeren Colony Server)
  12. Good idea. When we find a time to reschedule, we'll do it on Nar Shaddaa or Voss so it can be open to both factions (I will re-write the RP for it to make sense). Anyway, I'll create a new thread when we have a new date - will be at least a week (probably more) away.
  13. Two of the organizers (who happen to be brothers) have had, and are continuing to deal with, a real life personal crisis. As a result, the event is postponed indefinitely for now. Apologies for the confusion and disappointment.
  14. Dumb 'pub... Jediz = Communists Sithies = Capitalists therefore by the geometric property of "duh.", Sith = good guys. Oh, and me and mine wont be attending - got 16-man TfB that night. Don't worry, though; we are totally preparing with the other clans imp-side to steamroll, gank, and spank you into oblivion once the update comes out. Have your fun while it lasts... Lots of love, Your Friends at Imperial Allied Command
