  1. The implementation of those was last-second. Bring em back as part of the replacement for renown system?
  2. The sound of this aoe on Republic Vanguards is physically painful. Give it a try and you'll see what I mean. Seeing as it's the season for sweeping changes, any chance of the sound effect being replaced by literally anything else?
  3. Guys, I know we all hate the current state of affairs and think it's a mistake, but it may be best to give specific alternatives for the devs reading this. "Please don't." and "we hate it", while true, aren't something they'll take into account. "Don't put saber reflect as one of the options" or "don't remove intercede", however, are specific policy changes. So yeah, phrase suggestions as specific changes you want to see, maybe? I'd also focus on suggestions that maintain the "feel" of the class, per the original request by devs, and use the other class changes as a basis of comparison, eg: sins, operatives...
  4. Related to the question about Sentinels, when will Guardians be reassessed and reworked to deal with the fact the vast majority of feedback about it has expressed concerns about ability losses that are A) disproportionate to those of most other classes, B)Strip away much of the class's core identity- notably, the loss of saber reflect as well as utility and mobility are recurring issues in feedback?
  5. Saber Reflect is basically core to the class's identity at this point, honestly- removing it is like removing cover from snipers.
  6. Oh, hey, the usual excuses. 1. A claim that advanced classes haven't been reworked before- a lie. 2. Ability bloat is a "problem"- so don't play the classes that Bioware wants to destroy, especially since a lot of the changes aren't simplified, they've just left gaping holes in basic gameplay, with wild inconsistencies between classes. 3. No relevant number of people like the actual changes. These changes are hugely unpopular, for obvious reasons. 4. An appeal to "we don't have the whole picture" when there's no way to make some of these changes look good. Explain why removing saber reflect and all the mobility and survivability from Guardians is on par with overload shot, and why operatives get sleep dart of all things back when Guardians are losing basic DCDs in the name of "simplicity" 5. If we're playing the "you should play something else" game, the handful of fans of these PTS changes should leave instead, rather than the vast majority of the population. We were here first and you are, frankly speaking, a rounding error.
  7. Thanks for a peak behind the curtain! Have you guys considered rolling Seasons more directly into the Conquest goals? The current Season is fairly neat, and I actually feel rerolls work well, but it seems like there's a happy medium between the current "pick a few" and next season's approach - ie: Season goals could just happen as part of the Conquest loop with wider categories of objectives (ie: GSF is fine, but stuff like blowing up barrels feels a bit awkward if it's part of a very short list of options rather than just one of many ways to rack up the Season points over natural gameplay) instead of the current system that kinda requires conscious choice to play in a less natural way at times. That said, seasons is pretty great so far and I'm excited to see what's coming up for it!
  8. List three improvements you'd like to see for GSF. First one is super small, cheap and simple for devs to do. Second takes time, effort and money but feels totally within reach of current dev team. Third is pure daydreams and cloudcastles and is likely to never happen. 1)More maps or a personal hanger on fleet. 2)New gameplay modes, basic free roaming/PVE using existing assets, with reputation and a daily. 3) Destroy the frigate/capital ship PVE mode, either solo or multiplayer.
  9. Unfortunately customer service has become very unhelpful lately- they refused to even restore non-cartel items that were deleted or sold a while back, claiming they can't, when I know for a fact it's possible.
  10. Oh no, you lost utilities, how terrible for you. Please tell me, the Guardian player, how hard that must be for you. When they take away your roll and holotransverse as well as losing your healing option outright, then you can feel ill-done by compared to other classes.
  11. ...Have you tried taking vengeance into ranked? It's not terribly pretty.
  12. These changes seem both inconsistent between classes and ill-thought out for maintaining flavor and class viability. The one class where pruning of this kind might be warranted, Operatives? Is essentially skating through completely intact, while underperforming and near-extinct roles like DPS Guardians are losing their already anemic escapes as well as DCDs and utility.
  13. Pity is compassion, something that "Master" sorely lacked in his handling of things.
  14. You can point out his Master wasn't great, but at the same time being a Jedi Knight is a commitment in itself. Voluntary, and self-limiting. Flin effectively opted out of the dedication, while the Sith defector was first a prisoner of war and then volunteer. That said, Flingeld's master set the task as a lesson and a test, so while both parties didn't cover themselves with glory, trying to cheat and lie definitely didn't suggest he was cut out for Knighthood. That said, given the Master says "there's no room for pity in the life of a Jedi"....yeah, both parties deserved each other here and that Jedi was master of nothing. That said, it's not like working in the Jedi archives is a bad outcome? It's not fighting on the losing side of a messy war, you get to work with rare and hidden materials in a nice peaceful environment. It's not glorious but it's what Jedi should do in better circumstances.
