  1. Hey all, Long time player, just have never really invested much time into Smuggler let alone scoundrel. Have on and off played heals as time has gone on but never really looked or kept up with much of the DPS trees and the changes that have gone on. From the looks of it and from my understanding, Ruffian is more geared towards DoT/AoE/more utility maybe(?) while Scrapper is geared much more towards burst. I play a little bit of everything, non-ranked PvP, raids, FPs, Etc and while I'm not looking for a build thats good for it all I would be fine with a better build towards PvP that could also be viable in raids as a secondary. If not, any builds that are preferred for PvP while another that is geared more towards raids? Thanks all!

  3. Just wanna make sure I'm getting this right, because this has to be the first time I have heard it this way around. Your saying you take more damage in both PvE and PvP on your Guardian compared to your Shadow? If so, what kind of PvE are you doing, and what does your typical PvP premade look like? Also are they geared the same?
  4. Super disappointed to see that it's going to be on the Cartel Market. Seriously hope they don't keep going with this trend of putting everything on the CM, or there will be little to nothing to earn in the game.

    Rage Quitting

It has gotten worse on the Pot5 recently, and for some reason it doesn't want to backfill right away every time that it happens. Have had people in vent single queing while we have a 4 man pre-made running in a warzone where people leave before even a single turret cap in Civil War (on the ride down to the platform on the speeders) and it takes 2-3 minutes to backfill. But it's either Pubs quitting at the very first sign of a POSSIBLE loss or Pubs just not caring, so you either deal with rage quitting or essentially playing X amount of players down since they are just running around/trolling till the warzone is over.
  7. Terribly sorry to hear that and I'm very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family.
  8. Its now resolved, but apparently the biochem workstation on my ship was missing. No jokes, that is what the GM was telling me.
  9. I didn't think that was possible. All the schematics are showing as valid and there, unless there is some sort of issue that is showing them when actually they aren't really there.
  10. All three are shown as active. I can access the menus and the drop down menus to get to all the items i can craft where as i couldnt even open the biochem tab when i was preferred.
  11. Hey peeps, Having some trouble since my account went Pref. a while back. It was only Preferred for about 3 days before I subbed again. Haven't been able to craft anything on my Biochem for about 2 days now and no response via ticket so i figured i would ask her. Also didn't see any topics here in the forums with a same or similar issue so thought i would make a thread to see if any others have had the problem. I can run both diplomacy missions and bioanalysis missions, but every time i try to craft something regardless of what it is, i can't craft it. I have all the resources, have bought new resources, have tried crafting a variety of things, etc. etc. and none of it seems to work. Have tried relogging, switching toons, hard logging, UI reset, and other gimmicks to try to get it to work but no dice. I can craft on every one of my other toons except my Biochem. Has anyone has this problem? How did you fix it? Did you have to wait for a Rep? Thanks everyone!
  12. The reg on the Prophecy of the Five is hovering around 25k, which makes me both happy and sad lol. There are definitely the more lucky people. My friend gets them by the boatloads.
  13. Jeez, pass some my way! Just tallied up the money and returns i have gotten as of today. Have spent over 400k, and have 12 thermal regulators. Not sure why, but that doesn't seem quite right Have just made my 4th slicer, and hes already off to a bad start. Over 100k spent on him alone without any thermal regs. To do a little project, i xfered over 4 thermal regs to my bounty hunter (who had zero credits) and sold them on the GTN for a total of 115k. Then did nothing but spend that money on trying to get more thermal regs. Not a single one for 115k credits. This RNG is just frustrating.
  14. Sorry, yes, meant to say slicing. But again, i have hit this dry spot for some reason. This is the third time it has happened to me, close to somewhere between 40-50 missions between 4 different toons now without a single purple drop. Not sure why this is happening, but I did notice this tends to happen after updates. Coincidence or not, i don't think the rates should be this low, especially when my buddies are getting close to 8-10 thermal regulators a day with only 1-2 toons. I'm running double the missions they are and have yet to see a single thermal regulator since the update.
  15. All the more reason to implement some sort of OWPvP system. I know with the vast majority of the systems that have always been in place in past games have various exploits associated with them, but the OWPvP really creates immersion and gets us out to the beautiful worlds that have been constructed. Most of the worlds are only used for level up and dailies; it's time to give them a sense of purpose and make us feel like we are in a war. We need planetary control, we need assualtable bases that can be improved via credits and resources. We need a sense of community and oneness with our faction, which comes heavily with the communication and teamwork seen in OWPvP. We need to be able to make a difference in the SWVerse. Create control points on the various worlds that provide planetary bonuses, to both the PvPers fighting for control and for our faction's PvE'rs who are leveling and running daily missions. Create rewards that are cosmetic or provide further benefit in helping increase a fortresses' effectiveness to decrease the fight clubbing. I could go on all day, but the point is we need something aside from warzones to bring the PvP communities together. No more of this "another warzone is going to be added!" stuff. There is so much potential for OWPvP in this game, from the daily zones to the vast open worlds that we only see when we are leveling up or getting datacrons we missed. Give us something else to do besides wait on the fleet for the next warzone pop.
