  1. Really depends on who is writing the content. Jedi fanboi author: probably not Anyone else: of course, just takes a bit of forethought and appropriate weapon selection.
  2. I always loved that... Companion: YOU JUST MURDERED A WHOLE PEOPLE!!! (-100 affection) *give present Companion: Oooo shiny!!! (+250 affection)
  3. I've seen saints and arseholes on both sides. Even if you might get slightly more selfish behaviour on Imp side, I'll take it to not run into the "wants to be a real life Jedi" crusader types. Self righteous d-bags the lot of em.
  4. Uhm... yes. Most people use them. You can make better gear than drops/mission rewards (make greens, reverse engineer until you get the blue schematic you want, build that). And you can make gear for your alts. For instance, my agent is churning out heavy armor for my trooper. You can also make a ton of money selling (blue and better) gear on the GTN. You generally would want skills that work together (armormech, scavenging, and underworld trading).
  5. The idea is that its basically an advertising campaign. There are a number of gamers who only do their game shopping on steam and don't really read gaming news. This is why games like Planetside 2 (another F2P MMO) went on Steam at launch. It might also take advantage of the fact that KotOR and KotOR2 have been selling pretty well on Steam recently. Mind you, I'm not a huge fan of Steam but if it would help... why not?
  6. I'd rather be sat on by a Hutt than live on either...
  7. Give 'em a break. They need to sell a few more Czerka Celebrators before they can afford to get off the 56k modem
  8. Free like... they are free to play it after paying $20 for it?
  9. Look... its EA. Don't expect competence. Your choices are: 1) Move on to a new game 2) Explore alternative payment solutions (paypal, prepaid credit card, EA gametime cards, etc) Best of luck.
  10. Probably has something to do with the fact that combat in this game is not based on wrestling or lifting cars...
  11. actually... the point of a PVP server is to enjoy the opportunity to fight other (level appropriate) players while you are leveling up. It adds a considerable amount of enjoyment to the process. High level players ganking lowbies because they lack the skill to fight at their own level is just something you have to live with.
  12. It'll be a character specific ship upgrade from CM: Personal Tailor Bot - low low price of $20 per character!
  13. Google, your friend it is. http://www.torhead.com/mission/diWWYye/hoth-bonus-series
