  1. It works however you want it to work. Just because the stories appear to take place at the same time, doesn't mean that it has to be that way for you. Every time I go to the fleet, I see 20 Khem Val's running around. That doesn't 'make sense' but noone complains. Pick a story that makes sense for you, don't ask someone else to come up with something, 'cause it will never make you happy in the end. my$0.02
  2. perhaps it could be made the combat skills. Some type of ability that speeds up the companion (like alacrity in combat) and something different that adds to crit chance. You can choose based on what you want your companion to do.
  3. I've definitely noticed this. If there is a group around me/protecting me, I can do a ton of damage, but as soon as a Jedi figures out I'm there, I die within 10 seconds.
  4. Wow, what a great reply. I play a sniper, and just hit 50 this weekend. What a rude awakening. It was kind of like graduating High School. I was totally 'top of the chart' until I hit 50, then it was like freshman college. Now I'm everyone elses *****. The notes above will definitely help. I am absolutely sure that there are a lot of things that I need to learn about to properly play a sniper in PvP. Any other thoughts (specs rotations, situational responses?) would be greately appreciated.
  5. I think at this point, as someone pointed out earlier, that voting MVP just for healing doesn't make sense anymore, they max out at 4 medals, same as everyone else. MVP should be a choice that you make depending on what you thing was important in the particular battle. Last night I voted a guy MVP and he was the lowest rated on the list, but we wouldn't have won without him. I stayed at our turrent (obviously alderaan) and just called out when he had incomcing. Then everyone else raced back and forth between 'his' turret and the middle. We totally dominated, but becuase he only participated in fights at his turret, he was low rated. Sucks for him, so he deserved the MVP. Don't worry about what other people are voting, you need to vote for who you feel was the most impactful for the WZ. Heck, there have been times I wish I could vote for the opposing team.
  6. Never seen that, but that's great. I get there are loads of people who don't even vote MVP.
  7. Have you leveled a Smuggler or Agent? Why/why not? Yup. Main is an Agent Sniper Did you enjoy the story? Absolutely. The story is awsome. Did you enjoy the mechanics? Why/why not? Mostly, yes. I don't like having to use 'cover' for some of the abilities, like the AOE push back ability. Are these classes an important SW fantasy to you? Agent, no. They never played a 'front line' roll in any of the stories that I know of. Do you still play the class? If not, why not? Absolutely, Love my sniper for picking off repubs in pvp.
  8. I just want to be able to bind some of the already in game command lines to buttons. ie /mark 1 (blaster mark).
  9. I have to agree with the OP. Colours for the doors are a great idea.
  10. I've updated the original post with comments recieved to this point. Any other clarifications would be great. nW
  11. Reserved 'cause that's what I see other people doing.
  12. When I was new to PvP I really wanted to know how to get the badges/awards, which meant that I need to know what was available. I’m still not great at PvP, but I think that I’ve seen most of the badges and understand how to get them. Please if you have any additional information post it below and I’ll try to incorporate it into the posting. PvP badges are great for getting additional battlefield commendations (5 commendation/award) and additional valor points (50 valor/award). Healing badges Healing badges are pretty self explanatory. You get them for using your healing abilities to assist team mates. 2500/5000 heals in one shot (2 badges) Must be done using a heal ability, medpacs no longer give this award. 75/300k heals (2 badges) Heal at least 75/300k points of damage on self or team members in a single warzone match. As far as I can tell over healing does not count toward this award. Damage badges As with healing badges, the damage badges are pretty self explanatory, use your abilities to lay a hurtin on the enemy players. 2500/5000 damage in one shot (2 badges) Cause 2500 points of damage in one shot to a single target. 75/300k damage (2 badges) Cause 75/300k or more points of damage to enemy combatants in a single Warzone match. Defense badges I have not been able to determine how the game badges these points, but you have to be close to the objectives. You get the badges for just being close, but you get them faster when you are fighting near and objective that you own. For example, defending the doors on the ship, defending your guns on Aldaran, defending your end-zone in Hutt ball. 1/3/10k defense (3 badges) Defender badges These badges are provided for preventing damage, through some means of bubble, or absorption, or redirect, that would otherwise affect a team member. This does not count if you ‘bubble’ yourself. 5/10/50k damage prevented to another player (3 badges) 5/10/50k damage prevented to another player in 1 life (3 badges) This counter resets each time that you die. Kill badges Kill badges are given to players for participating in, or directly causing the death of enemy players. Solo kill Do the majority of damage to en enemy player causing them to die, must include the killing blow. killing blow Do the final blow to an enemy player causing them to die. 10/25 kills (two badges) Be involved in at least 10/25 enemy kills. This does not require you to provide the killing blow.
  13. Well.. I don't think they fixed it because it happened to me just yesterday. I'm trying what you guys said about resetting the quest. Fingers crossed.
  14. Did anyone ever play the RTS StarWars: Galactic Battlegrounds. Totally awsome. I'd really like to see a new StarWars RTS.
