  1. So if there is 16 people in queue, and 2 of them are healers. The system should be smart enough to allocate them accordingly. I don't think it would have a good impact on queue times to necessarily wait for both teams to have a healer, however if the system can properly allocate what it has to work with, that would be optimal. So when one decides to queue for a warzone they select their role, letting the system know in advance what the players preference is, and making necessary adjustments to fix the teams in the most balanced way possible. Tanks don't have quite as a profound impact on the outcome of the game individually as a healer does without a tank. That being said no algorithm should be applied to that category to further reduce queue times. People think matchmaking would reduce queue times. However i think just using what you got, in the right way can make a significant impact. Don't put the 2 healers in queue on the same team. Then you will run into situations where someone quits a game.. So if its the healer, just have the system put high priority on healer spec players in queue to backfill instead of instantly dropping the very next player who hit the queue button in the warzone. Let the list populate for about 25 seconds or so, so that some kind of proper allocation can be made.

It's pretty sad that you have enough time to sit around and investigate my Star Wars history like I'm Hillary Clinton sending out some confidential emails or something. however you're absolutely right I have cried about other classes in the past and my concerns I felt were very justified at the time. I believe as a human being and as a citizen I am entitled to my opinion's therefore I have the freedom to come here and say whatever the hell I choose. And throughout Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 's history specific classes have had their moments where they were completely ridiculous or devastatingly underperforming . If no one comes to your invoices their concerns then what are we left with as a community other than classes that are completely ridiculous such as the current version of mercenary . Someone has to come out and say something . Someone has got to have the balls to open their mouth and voice their concerns because their concerns are more than likely going to be shared and the only way change is made is if you go out there and make it happen . I'm not gonna sit around while you and all your minions defend your god mode profession . But honestly I respect that you are so eager to keep your class performing at such exceptional levels . But let's be real mercenaries were the top DPS class in the PV E content for quite a while they definitely showed some favoritism amongst the PVE crowd of players . Even in PVP mercenaries have never really been bad . I've seen you on several servers throughout the past several years now and you seem to be doing quite well on mercenary I'm not sure why you're defending it because I generally see you melting people in war zones on the occasions I have been in your team . Even before this recent patch I myself was destroying people with innovative ordnance only losing whenever I've got maybe an operative or an assassin sitting on me . There is just no justification for the current strength of the mercenary class it is far too powerful . I'm not here complaining about other classes I'm here complaining about mercenary because something absolutely needs to be done and you're gonna have to post a lot more links of my previous chat forum post because I'm not backing down . I do apologize for my grammatical inconsistencies because I'm having to fill this out while in a quite aggravated state driving so it is what it is .
  3. I dont even know why this is allowed. Now more than ever, it seems like if you are on the team w/o heals you will not be having a very good time. And this is something that happens very frequently, for one team to be filled with 2 or 3 healers, while the other guys have zero. With healing as powerful as it is, and detrimental to the performance of classes without reliable self healing skills, creating some sort of matchmaking is not needed, its absolutely required. Now i know the numbers dont exist to create a proper match making system that would keep pvp healthy 24/7. But some basic matchmaking assessment tool that wont put a team completely lacking a healer against a team filled with them. You might be the best player in the game, and going against a full noob squad packed with healers and tanks and still struggle, or even get farmed. That's all i'm asking for here, just a simple matchmaking system that wont create these totally lopsided warzone scenarios. Furthermore i think much of the QQ imbalance issues would also decline if this very minuscule change was implemented. I'm not asking for things to be totally even and perfect. But if one team has a healer, then that queue better not pop until there is one for the other guys!!!
  4. It's just disgusting how massively overpowerd Mercs/Mando's are right now. Its not even like its just slightly OP, its completely game breaking.. There is only one way to get revenge and make these FOTM Mercs pay for rerolling the broken hacker mode class. TUNNEL THE LIVING HELL OUT OF THEM. Thats what im doing, reguardless if i die 1000000 times in a row. I'm gonna leap at every merc/mando i see and unleash all my rage because im still just a rat in a cage!!! Just put on some Rage aginst them Machine max vloume, find a Merc/mando, put a big as* flame above their head and go to down to funky down. Its my duty, and my burning passion to tunnel the merc/mands until they get nerfed back into their righteous place. Under the spawn i will be waiting for mandos.. Mercs need to be deleted from this game. If you want to play with hacks there is programs out there that come close to merc potential. but not quite.. And its not even like playing a merc/mando takes remotely ANY skill anymore. Its the most clicker friendly backpeddling crybaby class: these mercs have been crying for so long about their pew pew class and now that they are god mode lol face rolling, keyboard drooling, hackermode, 360 noscope, neil degrasse tyson OP, MERCS FEEL JUSTIFIED. LEL
  5. So, with the release of 5.0 there was obviously some gearing acquisition changes made in the form of what we all know now as The Galactic Command. Like Many of you, I've been playing SWTOR since launch so I know its hard to deal with such drastic changes to a game we all know and love, especially something as game changing as the Galactic Command. My initial reactions as a PVPer were definitely pessimistic for the first few days, but to be honest this new system is actually quite brilliant in many aspects. Both Bioware, and the consumer is going to profit from this new addition, and quite honestly its the greatest thing to happen to the game since release. I can comfortably say the game is officially ready for release in its current iteration and with a couple slight alterations, its in my opinion this game could really be the WoW competitor it was intended to be. This is really how the game should have been all along, and it took 4 years to get to this point. However there is a couple things id like to suggest, and I don't mean any disrespect to the developers because i honestly think they did a fantastic job lately with swtor, but I have a couple ideas that could really put some finishing touches on this new system. I know its a long shot that a Dev will actually read this but, I had to get it out there because i feel like its worth a shot. One thing id really like to see with this new system is, making your Galactic command rank Legacy... Im okay with a hard grind for gear, but what if command rank was the same for all your characters, so when you wanna hop on an alt and PVP, you don't have to feel like you are losing progress. Additionally this would make hitting max rank more rewarding because you could gear up alts more conveniently. To further increase the performance of the new Galactic Command system, and to synergize with a legacy version of the command rank would it also be possible to create a unified bank, so one no longer has to change characters to send money and items back and forth. Just simplify things with one legacy wallet where all your monetary funds are shared between characters(Including all forms of game currency accessible to all). Additionally mailing and GTN item listings could all be made legacy as well, for example. If you are on your Merc and you just listed 10 augments, wouldn't it be nice to be able to hop on your marauder and have the ability to collect the profits, and or remove/add listings from one unified system. Essentially making everything shared so, no matter what character you are on, convince is priority and you have access to everything on every character you log on even shared mailing system. The only things that would be character independent is your storage and armor that's character bound. With the current system, unfortunately it doesn't promote users from actively wanting to build alternate characters up since the Command rank requires great amount of effort per character causing players to be more selective about what they play and how often they play alts. I'm fairly confident that the more alts people are making the more $$$ people will be spending to make them look pretty, so a system that encourages alt creation is not only beneficial for the consumer but also for profit margins as people are more inclined to invest. P.S Guys, its time for a new advanced class to be released into the game.. I love the existing ones, but what this galaxy really needs is a new hero. Its been 4 years, I think it would be awesome to get a fresh new base class, with 2 AC's.
  6. Yeah, its called Thief. However there are several classes with stealth access. However i must warn you. Thief class has a very high skill cap. Gw2 in general is much more challenging to get good at, so just keep that in mind. You might get rekt pretty good until u figure out whats going on. You actually gotta dodge attacks, and there is no global cooldown so things are much faster. Also, the health to damage ratios are much more punishing. For example its possible under the right circumstances to build a berserker thief that crits for 25-30k under 25 stacks of might, while only having 12k health. But.. you're gonna be squishy as hell. Its all about options and how u wanna play. Im playing Both gw2 and swtor right now, and i love them both. There are things that each games does better than the other for sure. Swtor's combat is more group oriented than gw2. In gw2 there is no healers or tanks, however you can play healing and bunker-tank builds they are not considered totally dedicated even-though they pretty much are.
  7. #Nerfmercs2017 America, its time to make PvP great again. Right now we have a flood of illegal mercenaries coming into the fleet, and they need to be stopped. Now i have a plan, and its a great plan. I'm gonna build a wall around the fleet.. And you know who's gonna pay for it? Mercenaries are gonna pay for it, and we are gonna have great relations with Mercenaries.
  8. I feel bad for Mara's right now especially. While they are still fun to play, Sins are just superior in 5.0. And with all the Mercs running around with with their OP defensive cooldowns. God forbid you piss a Merc off by touching them, you will be trolled with electronet the entire match. Thats my main gripe with merc. Players get beat, then they just troll whatever player killed them with electronet the entire match just to be a complete a-hole. And given how strong mercs are right now, they do not deserve to have electronet how it currently exist. The damage is insane however manageable if you blow some vital cooldowns. But for the love of god, please remove the other effects that prevent high mobility actions. Poor juggs are already slow enough, then once you got 4 mercs (the wz average right now) netting them, they are really going no where. I feel like. Mercs did need some defensive buffs maybe.. But right now it seems like they have the ability to survive anything thrown at them way to often.
  9. Mercs are so Overperforming right now... Electronet's more lethal effects that prohibit the use of high mobility actions needs to be stripped from the ability, because Merc in the current iteration is just doing too well to even need something as powerful as the current electronet. A class thats doing second highest single target damage in the game, with the highest burst, and highest survivability does not deserve to also have the strongest "i win" ability the game ever produced.
  10. I just saw a Merc survive to 500k tunnel damage with no healer in an arena. They are beyond broken. Its blowing my mind honestly how something could even be this far off from balance. I want to wake up and this all be a dream, but this is the reality, and im not sure if BW is pulling some prank on us or what, and if they are good job. Going back to gw2 now. Peace!
  11. Well, I want to start off by saying that I just came back to SWTOR after taking a 5 month break to play another MMORPG, Guild Wars 2. But I gotta say, SWTOR always has that special place in my heart and its really difficult to part with Star Wars, as its part of me now, and part of our culture. I strongly believe its that Idea "Star Wars" that keeps many of us planted in this game for so long. Well, coming back this time was obviously quite planned as i wanted to check out the new content, and see how classes were doing in terms of overall balance.. And having played gw2 for the past 6 months, i wanted to come back to swtor, not only to enjoy the new content, but compare it to the other MMO ive been enjoying and supporting, just to see if MAYBE swtor can pull me back in as a full timer. Well sadly this time around, SWTOR wont be holding me very long. I felt like the content was very reused and re-skinned, and doesn't promote group play to any degree whatsoever.. Also, the new gearing system is just totally horrible for thoes who might have a job, or do anything else with their life other than PVE content. As a pvper, gearing in swtor was always decent enough, that i could acquire gear in a timely manner, even gearing up alts.. Well this is no longer the case... I must say it was really enjoyable to be a pvper prior to this patch, now gearing in SWTOR just took a turn for the worst. On to class balance.. Mercs are just totally broken right now. Even trying to kill a DPS merc is nearly impossible unless you can stealth out while their OP cooldowns are rolling. Even then, if u manage to fight through their god mode defensive systems, they have the highest single target burst in the game, all from range... It just makes no sense to buff the class to the extent that they did. AND GIVING DPS GUARDS!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?... What were you guys thinking with that decision. Now u get into a match, and every deception sin, and veng jugg is guarding their OP merc/sorc healers. Its just a mess. I'm having trouble even finding the words right now im so aggravated with this game. To all you out there looking to escape this mess, and get into a competitive scene i highly recommend gw2. You might have tried it, and didnt like it, but give it another go and i promise you wont be let down. Gw2's combat system is genius, and much more flexible in terms of builds and self expression with how you play your chosen profession. Swtor was a great game, but right now its super messed up and i hope this development team comes to their senses. Swtor hasnt got much life left in it, as its getting rather old at this point and its not WoW. So, i really hope changes are made to at least attempt to keep whats left. One thing i will say about swtor, is the classes theme, and overall design is really more interesting than most MMO's. The classes are something you would REALLY want to be if you could live in that science fiction universe of saber wielding heros. Anyways. Mercs are OP, and sins are trailing right behind them. The new gearing system is a disaster. Please remove alliance proving grounds. Then end..

  13. With the non stop pops of APG, and the broken Arena map, It would be really appropriate to give players who have been subscribed since the beginning of this month free play time. We don't even have access to all the content that's advertised without having to leave 20 APG's in a row which is extremely time consuming and frustrating. People who pay to play this content absolutely DESERVE a free months worth of subscription time, its been done before, and its more appropriate now than ever before. This month has been the most disastrous of SWTOR's history, and compensation is definitely necessary. I literally just had to leave 20 consecutive APG pops in a row. Pathetic really...
