  1. To the guy above me I like the idea 100%, kind of like what GW2 did and what TESO will be doing, but it would have to be easily understood and not too complicated to work in my opinion, because some things would get too out of hand if you had, for example, someone putting down a huge AOE oil slick and a bounty hunter flamethrower-ing over that area and all mobs are set on fire. I feel as though it would have to be relatively simple and small-scale. Then again, if controlled well enough you could really implement some crazy team-play abilities!
  2. I think a 64-bit version would help immensely, I mean I know SWTOR itself just takes more memory and what not, but I can play WoW or GW2 with medium to full graphics settings and get 50 fps; but on TOR i play with all minimal settings still getting only around 20-30 fps. Most of the time it's worse than that.
  3. Love and support this thread 100%, don't know what these other people are talking about, and that one guy sounded kind of like a dick IMO. They seriously need to change some things and give the player base more power (power as in some control over the content they put in). Voted 5.
  4. To the guy above me (and his quote) I also like the idea, and what would be cool would be to do kind of like what DCUO did, make a pre-made appearance customization with your gear and be able to re-equip that appearance customization to look the way you want. Also would like a prototype converter, able to make "greens" into "oranges" with mod enhancement etc. slots.
  5. I dont think GW2 is better at all, and sorry i didnt post any suggestions just wanting to know what people think about who they are making this game for, and as for what i mean by "sandbox-y" is not the class quests, I mean give us more freedom, like maybe the power to put bounties on actual players and have Bounty Hunters actually hunt them (i know it's been suggested plenty of times) and I feel like things like this could be accomplished if they gave us more freedom. Now I know this won't be like an overnight change but in months or maybe a year I just hope to see more freedom among the player base. And also I think your idea for more grinding things is good, but also sort of bad. Grinding can be bad and good. It's bad as in I feel like "grinding" to most MMO developers is "doing the same thing over and over" when it should be more doing something to accomplish or reach a certain point. So i feel like if they took your companion quest and reputation grind it would just be more of the same dailies every day. What grinding should be is different every time, not just the same 5 quests every day.
  6. MAKE IT HAPPEN PLZ I love this idea and wish they would make it
  7. I don't know if it's just me but Bioware is taking the traditional MMO direction on many things. The end game gear grind, doing dailies and daily FP's/WZ's. It feels too generic. We need something new Bioware. We need something fresh. I know GW2 is changing the game a lot, and I think we need some of that. Nothing too drastic, we don't need to drastically change combat or anything, just implement some new fresh systems. I also feel like the game itself should be a bit more sandbox-y. To me it seems they are marketing this game to people who enjoy WoW and standard MMO's and the holy trinity and all that, while I feel like they should be marketing it to KOTOR and SWG fans. Just some of my opinions, hope at least someone agrees with me...
  8. I really want some new stuff, like how GW2 is innovating MMOs. I want some awesome new star wars unique stuff, not sure any examples lol but definitely would like this game to be a bit more sandbox, and also it would be cool if they could have intertwined story-lines at high levels, like for example two level 50 jedi (one knight one consular) have a story quest in which they are both involved. I think that would be cool but yeah I want some cool star wars-y bioware-y stuff
  9. Another thing that really makes me lose the full on experience of diversity. I know it's been mentioned before but the mob spawning is just awful, i mean every place there is a handful of the same mob they're all identical. I mean it's hard to feel like a sith when I'm killing the same jedi over and over... Just one more thing they could fix
  10. One of the BIGGEST things i would love to see is a 64-bit version of the launcher or maybe some 64-bit compatibility things implemented, playing on a 64-bit system with a 32-bit game makes me lag way more than i need to. Also for inquisitors and Consulars, make it not required to have lightsaber drawn in combat, it just looks silly shooting lightning out of fingers that are wrapped around a double bladed lightsaber...
