I believe the alignment is set on light side by default (both my light and dark toons had it set to light), meaning if it's blocked by the minimap and people don't notice, they unknowingly fight for the light side. I've noticed light side has been winning quite a bit on the Jedi Covenant as well. A neutral option that would be used as default would be nice, as of right now this leads me to believe the "dark vs. light war" is sort of one-sided due to the fact anybody who doesn't pull the alignment toggle out from under the minimap gives the light a fairly large advantage.

I noticed a decent FPS boost, but like ludoviccb I also noticed a slight bit of lag with some abilities.

I'll most likely use my Marauder, Sorcerer, or Guardian.

Hey there! I started playing SWTOR back in mid 2015, after completing the inquisitor class story and a bit of the warrior class, I dropped the game until last month, when I decided to return with a friend. I've gotten back into the swing of it, and It's even gotten me to get a sub. I was never active on these forums, so I thought I'd just throw myself out there now. I also have 2 questions: 1. can I change my username/forum name? 2. is there any tips/tricks to get the most out of your sub? I looked around and all I found was the referral link signature, which I'm not sure will benefit me much considering I haven't been on here very long. Thanks!

I personally enjoyed the Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular was okay. I heard Smuggler and Trooper are decent, however they're the two republic classes I have yet to try. As said above, they're all worth trying.
