  1. Of course there's no ill will on my end, I'm the one who acted like a ******* after all. On 2nd viewing of both videos I saw some really nice tactics that can be applied to my own marauder play. Think I may even switch from carnage to anni for a change up.
  2. I already corrected myself on your thread. As far as this 1, I never said he didn't do it. Just that he should leave the quest on the screen is all. I own up to my mistakes, but you still have the right to say what ever you want of course.
  3. Yep your right, I was completely wrong. I apologize. I've run it many times, and never noticed you get 2 quests at the side once you enter. Quite impressive. I have seen fake videos before, and didn't bother examining further.
  4. I have to work so hard to keep agro with my guardian. It's nuts how much I have to shuffle through the mob, cycle white attacks and taunts. It takes extreme skill to keep the majority of a mob on you as a guardian/jugg. People need to realize that not all tanks are built the same, and take it easy a bit. Also, my merc healer gets attacked by mobs constantly, my sage healer is completely ignored by them. I know it's not supposed to be that way, but it is.
  5. The only thing that has me skeptical that this is HM and not SM is how you blocked the mission objective that is usually on the right side of the screen. Next time have that there so you can prove without a doubt it was HM. gunte's video of the 2-man lost island is proven to be really just story mode because of that. Which you even commented on, Mandolor. I'm surprised you didn't see that.
  6. You're a hack dude. That was Story Mode that you're trying to pass off as Hard Mode. I've seen people do this before. Check the right side of the screen where the missions are. It has both HM and SM there. Only, under SM it says the current objective is to kill whichever boss they're on, and under HM it still says to shuttle to the lost island. Really?? What do you have to gain by trying to fool people into thinking you did something you didn't do? You should be ashamed.
  7. All chat bubbles serve are attention whores. Forcing your thoughts on the people around you that didn't ask for them. 10 times as many people will ignore you than in general chat, therefore it will take 10 times as long for your groupfinder to pop. /whisper works just fine.
  8. This sounds like something that some interface editing can solve easily. Especially if you haven't played for a long time. Increase the size of your portrait/health bar to max, and there's no way you will miss when fury hits 30 stacks. I tend to use it at cd unless I know something big is coming soon that I need it for. I certainly agree with the first responder, Marauder's are like scotch, fun in the early stage's, smooth and potent when fully aged.
  9. I think it would be a good idea to add a feature in groupfinder for endgame stuff where people can check if they're going for a quick and breezy daily run, skipping whatever they could, or if they need the gear and want to take on all bosses. I have a few 50's, and always pass down my mods via legacy gear, so I have no need to run flashpoints for gear, just bh comms. But I always feel a bit bad when a member of the group is 14k hp, and clearly can use any and all drops from the flashpoint, but we expect them to wizz through everything with us. Sometimes people even get angry, for some odd reason, at the wiff of someone slowing them down for a chance at extra gear. I think the separation would be nice to let fresh 50's gear up quicker, and to learn some endgame content the way a lot of us did in the very 1st few months of the game's release. Just an idea.
  10. You should have gotten way more social points though. There's a convo with a droid right before and after the 1st boss fight (the 3 droids) that has several back and forth's.
  11. I can't add much to this that others haven't nailed already, except 1 thing. You said your hp was that level "with a stim". Were you using a fortitude stim? You should be using a might stim. Always.
  12. I leveled to 50 as anni well before the nerf, and stayed with it for a bit at 50. But just to try something new I switched to carnage, and haven't looked back since. IMO carnage is the best spec by far. The burst damage is insane. By cycling massacre with other strikes back and forth you are constantly triggering bonus ataru strikes. As far as an exact build off the top of my head: Carnage: max all skills, except for cloak of carnage, stagger, and displacement. Anni: max short fuse and enraged slash. Rage: max ravager and decimate, and use the last point for either malice or payback. Obviously, any of that is debatable. I'm not a know it all and could be off slightly. Whatever works for people is what matters. Also, the build is for level 50, so just scale to your level and build towards that.
  13. Lets not forget that with the comms conversion that you can actually start with up to 800 classic comms right off the bat. The real joke is the cap on comms. If someone has the time to play a bit more than someone else, then they deserve to get more comms. All this does is handicap players, and force them to buy the mods from crafters at a steep up charge. Isn't there already enough players with BiS gear that have never stepped foot inside an op?
  14. "Why? There is no why, there is only nerd rage." Too funny.
  15. What ever happened to those Galactic History stories that were done still-comic style by "Master Gnost-Dural"? Prior to the games release, they did one every month or so, and after the game's release... zero. There's still several to go before the first one, which is where the force is first discovered. These stories really dragged me into the lore aspect of this game, and now it seems they were abandoned. The big rule in writing and storytelling is that if you set something up then you must pay it off, otherwise it's just a waste of space in your story. Pay it off Bioware.
