  1. I know I've been gown for over 3 years. But I find it funny that the rarest items in this game comes from a paid market, and not something earned in game. Here I thought the purpose of the tread mill was to make players go and earn what they really want and discourage short cuts. Hey, what do I know.
  2. When did this game ever cater or to be honest even care about raiders/ ops players? I literally was GM of SuckaFish when we were US/ World first. I can honestly tell you they never cared. Even when they actually put out operations back then (normally 2 a year). They were handful of bosses with simple strategies. I know we wrote the guides for EC, TFB, SnV, DF, DP. If you ever played a MMO that actually had a raid scene you would know top level bosses normally last a couple weeks before the top guilds take them down. I don't think any bosses lasted longer then a week. Maybe Soa because you had the grind to 50 and he was bugged to hell. Perfect example of how you know they don't care. Explosive Conflict came out for the first time in like May of 2012. The very first boss Toth and Zorn does a scream that does a stun. The stun "debuff" registered on the buff bar, so you could just right click it and continue without worrying about the mechanic. We reported the bug the first week, and they just fixed it in the last patch... I don't know who this Aowin guy is, he has a lot of half truths. But to say this game has no raid community is absolutely spot on. I remember the day we talked about it as a guild, we came to the conclusion they were never gonna do it justice and what ever this game will do; will be a half measure. Which is accurate forever thing in this game with the exception of the Cartel Market. Top guilds in EQ, their GM's were hired by blizzard. Blizzard constantly reaches out to top guilds for thoughts, ideas, or just to congratulate them. Even LoTRO would reach out to their guilds. I couldn't of gotten an audience with anyone at Bioware. Because they don't care. Even PvPers have that silly rank board on their site, raiders never got anything near that. We got a "title." No cool gear, nothing. By the way people left after a month or 2 because there was absolutely nothing to do at end game. No story, half measured buggy pvp, a terrible game engine, and a buggy raid, that really wasn't much harder then a flashpoint. The story they've put out since the original 8 is a funneled, predictable, and vanilla. By the way you're choices didn't really make a difference then either. It's the same complaints I read 5 years ago. I've just recently got caught up because I haven't played in roughly 3 years. It makes me happy I wasn't one of the people that paid a subscription each month for the new chapter. I even took my time and was done with all of SoR- whatever planet they just put out in roughly a weekend. It was worth the 15 bucks, not 15 for however many months waiting. The only thing EA caters to is micro transaction players. That's it I applaud all of you who have been subscribed through out all these years. I mean seriously I need to know where you work because I want to work for you. Because with expectations like that I'll have job security for 40 years. Am sorry if you're a current raider in this game. I know its a hard truth to come to but it's honest. To me nothing has changed in this game except the prices on the GTN. It's still a Star Wars skinned "The Sims." and hey if that's what you like am happy you have a game to play. Am just sorry that EA has an exclusive contract with Star Wars and we have only had 1 new Star Wars title since and outside of the sequel, I see nothing coming down the pipeline. This is what happens when major producers get their hands on things. They only care about matrix's and think that will pay the bills. May the Force be with your free time
  3. high heeled boots? do they come with a 30% speed reduction and lets say 60% in sand and mud terrains?
  4. It was no different then other content that was put out. NIM SnV, and NiM TFB had the same PTR time, but they buffed bosses and changed minor things, and the content last for a good part of the week, not 3 hours.
  5. That's the problem though, they have NEVER cared about that community. They build something half assed and say here you go. The raid development team wouldn't know a good raid if it bite them. You wait 8 months and this is all you get? The reason the community is small and is getting smaller is because it lacks challenge. You would think they would take a lesson in history of how MMO's build popularity. I would dare them to come out and say something but I know their responds. And they will just keep alienating themselves from the MMO Community and will continue to survive on the fact they have lightsabers. Not gonna lie I got the itch, just glad the devs have showed me their commitment to the game with this latest bit of "content." Nonetheless my hats off to Zorz, nicely done. It shows a good amount of commitment and talent. 3 hours, am pretty sure that's a record for this game. Hey dev's be happy EA owns all Star Wars game right, if they didn't you might of had competition for a Star Wars MMO. Best of luck to the rest of the raid teams out there, and going forward. Had fun in the community till last year. But am out see you all in Wild Star.
  6. Meh, I've already mounted your masks on the PTR. I promise SuckaFish, will finish you all off in 1 day again. See you tomorrow night
  7. After reading the gear needed for the new operation, no offense unless they don't release it on the PTR then the progression of it is truly flawed cause any Hard Core guild has already geared their progression team FAR past whats need and can muscle their way through. So the progression will no kidding kinda suck cause it will be a matter of hours which honestly am sure most guilds will agree won't prove a thing and the world and us first will go to the team that goes in when the servers go up., and leaves us waiting till at least December to see a Nightmare mode. Forgive me for the lack of enthusiasm, nothing like killing the little competition the game supports
  8. If it makes you feel any better there isn't much progression on the other side. Hopefully October brings better competition.
  9. We did invite the community to come and discuss the the spreadsheet. We were even ready to explain it. But no one showed, we even used a neutral mumble, not even a pm. Since you all seem to be the pros take it over like the man said, am sure he would be happy to turn it over to someone who wants to do it. And am sorry to say he who sets it up writes the rules. I mean really is it that big of a deal? I mean really who cares about the points anyways, first is first in the end. We know who the top guilds are. Don't worry it was a conspiracy against your guild to make you look bad smh.
  10. i honestly can't do a better job then video to show the state of raiding and what I miss. No boss any game I have played yet felt better to have killed then Ouro, and C'thun. AQ 40 and Naxx 40 regardless to the few that saw them still the best raids
  11. Actually we found WH no different in difficulty, and believe I heard Severity gaming 15 manned it so I don't understand how thats harder. TFB wasn't any harder either. Perhaps some better min maxing, and refining your skills is all you need. I have honestly NEVER seen an enrage timer on any 16 man boss, then again we normally go in there a little better geared then our we do on our 9 mans.
  12. You know it is NiM your suppose to be challenged, novel idea in todays games. its not like they put a ton of money into just the NiM Mode, you have story so you can do the encounters and you still have hard modes . They pushed their sliding bars over and added a mechanic or 2. So the money thing is meh. So am hearing a lot of whoa is me, gimme loot cause I deserve it for beating the payment boss, where is my medal for participation.
