It has been awhile now and its removal and promised return have slipped under the radar as every other thing seems to hit the fan. So as we head into game update 1.4 and F2P on the horizon, is it still being worked on? Can we expect to get a compeling OPvP in the near future?

pretty upset right now my day 1 early access character is in for a name change. i refuse to play this game until they give me my name back. it was named before the bastion even f(&*^*&^&* existed .

From what i could tell, it sounds like they will be opening new servers that will be free to transfer to. Which will make it easier to regulate things like names. I would be a little upset if i had to transfer my day1 early access character to an existing server and couldn't keep the name because someone used it last month.

I logged into my server and i was the only person on the fleet. i than rolled on the fatman. I don't care if someone else is having fun. i pay a monthly fee so that i can have fun. at peak time i still end up playing the same 8 people when a que actually pops. 2-3 matches later they stop queing after my team beats them repeatedly. How is it worse than making them wait 3-4 hours to get in a match only to get trounced by my premade.

just trying to upset the only players they haven't yet, the ones still playing for the story.

there was almost no feedback on pts about this system as those that where copied over only tested the pve content then went back to their live servers. most posts (which were not many) said they where qued for most of the focused tests that where slated and got in a match or two at most and then it was not even a full match up. Maybe next time they will take guilds that only pvp instead of just those who cleared NM modes i logged in on my lowby 34 during one , couldn't help test much due to ranked being 50 only. On topic : i doubt 1.3 will go to test , it will be tested internally than go straight to live, much like the patches we get weekly.

Will RE a blue item be different than RE a green item in the type or quantity of resources recieved for making the augment kits?

I don't think the free transfers will be to get people on heavy servers to transfer. more likely it will be to get low populated servers to move to servers that are standard.

The sub loss is not bad but it comes at the same time as they opened the 3 asia/pacific servers. so many servers that where decently populated where left weakened by the two events. which than began a mass exodus to more populated servers, making these servers barren. If Cross server WZ's would have been added during this time line it would have counter balanced alot of elder game player, but it was delayed until TBD. This was poor implemnting of servces and someone should have their knucles racked with a ruler. So now they will have to create a transfer system, that will encourage those who havent already rerolled/quit to merge themselves on mid range servers.This will take priority over x-server, but only slightly. With these two systems on the burner i would bet open world pvp (ilum revamp) has been set back even further in the to do list. There are several servers that reach heavy/full RP-pvp RP Pve PVP( i believe 2 pvp 2 pve and 1 each for rp and rp-pvp), but the fatman is the only one that seems to never go below standard at any hour.

Turbine is the reason i cringe when i hear Life Time Sub brought up anywhere involving MMOs

I did the grind, and happily except the changes. Why wouldn't you want those in your wz to be geared? I wish they would get rid of the pvp gear grind and spend that time and resources on reskins, new maps, and balancing.
