  1. I too am looking forward to togruta! and according to this video by Lady Insanity they will be included in 3.3!!
  2. Yeah, when you point out the credit costs it's going to save it sounds a lot better and I am looking forward to the feature. God knows I change my mind on an outfit every other week. It just feels like if they put a little more effort into removing the armour restrictions it would make it more usable and useful to all classes. Perhaps they will do so down the track.
  3. I'm inclined to agree. I don't understand the point of the feature now. Unless I'm misunderstanding something we can already do everything this 'new' feature lets us with moddable gear. inly difference is the use of green and blues without worrying about stats. That's nice but hardly enough. I don't understand why the devs insist on placing armour and class restrictions on gear. Granted they've started removing these restrictions as can be seen with the latest pve and pvp gear which have become adaptive. I assume going back and changing all moddable gear to adaptive would be way to time intensive to be worth it (let's face it it's not going to give them any revenue, unless they somehow made it a cartel market consumable to use on an item that makes it adaptive, but that's getting off topic.) However I would have thought the costume deigned would have been the perfect opportunity to remove these silly restrictions from old gear. If I want to wear the jedi battlelord set on a sage I don't see why this costume designer couldn't and shouldn't let me. With all the various armour in the cartel market, I hardly think classes needing a distinct silhouette to be immediately identifiable is a reasonable enough excuse anymore. As a sage I could wear trooper armour or bounty hunter armour. I just don't understand their reasoning for the restrictions. I thought the point of a costume designer was so we could look how we wanted regardless of stats/ armouring and class.
  4. I'm not sure what you have to cleanse and how bad it is if you don't cleanse as I haven't done the new operations yet, but in SnV the boss at the end of the city run with the coloured teams, throws out raid wide explosive probes (like the sniper ability that explodes on the next hit) that can't be cleansed by sages/sorcs. Admittedly the damage is not that significant and you only have time to cleanse 1 maybe 2 people ( usually a tank and myself) But when the dps is spread out killing the spawned turrets a sages aoe isn't going to help get everyone back up. Whereas if you've got tech healers that's possibly half your raid that isn't going to take that damage. Like I said it's not something that is generally gunna cause a wipe unless things are already going badly but the point is only certain healing classes being able to cleanse things in endgame operations is not something new in this patch.
  5. i did this just the other day. i was dreading DK cause it took me hours to do it on my main. i walked up a ramp towards the dark temple and the part was sitting on the ground already exposed, with no one around. Some people are just lucky
  6. I saw them. But they arent reasons why you dont want these outfits in game. thats you trying to convince us that you arent a homophobe. which you probably arent. tbh i dont care. The only reason you've actually given as to why you dont want them in game is because... you dont want cross dressing in game. Thats an opinion. not a reason why they shouldnt be there.
  7. I wouldmt say we are debating you. how can we. all you say is 'no'. the perfect argument. and constructive to boot.
  8. Not asking for cross dressing. at all. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=425762 that is what we are asking for.
  9. When i can walk around without a chest piece on my toon and achieve the same result as the covort energy torso piece, i think it hardly counts as Bioware evening up the skimpy-dress-code playing field. Not to mention female toons have how many different outfits? 3? 4? While male toons get 1 chest piece.
  10. When female toons get ***** i want to get assless chaps. I think thats fairer than bare chest for bare chest, considering i can see a bare male chest at my local supermarket on a hot day.
  11. ... you dont get out much do you? But in all honesty, with them including SGR's i dont see why they wouldnt introduce skimpy stuff for guys. obviously they arent apposed to gay people playing their game. Probably just a matter of time. sooo what your saying is that cause its not how you live you shouldnt have to see it? Well in that case, as a gay man, i dont want to see anymore skimpy girls outfits. or opposite gender romances. in fact get them out of the game completely and replace them all with the SGR's that are coming in makeb.
  12. I play at least one female character so as to express my inner drag queen, without having to go out and do it in the real world.
