  1. Thank you for sharing that link. A big thank you to George Lucas for making my childhood richer with Star Wars. I can not remember exactly when I saw the movie in 1977, but it took me to a galaxy far, far away (to which some of my family thinks I never did return from). I have always loved Star Wars, seen all the movies, collected many toys, figures, etc growing up, but I was recently amazed when we came across some old pictures thought to be lost. The pictures were of me as a child with my first model X-wing fighter, as well as having the Star Wars sheets, bed spread, and curtains. Now, I understand why some family still looks at me the way they do. After 40 years, I have been involved in many Star Wars games on consoles and PC, been involved in Star Wars RPG campaigns (Wizards of the Coast Core rulebooks), and still enjoying going to Star Wars movies in cosplay. Thank you George Lucas, ILM, and LucasArts for the good times and memories, as well as the deep lore behind Star Wars. Happy Anniversary / Happy Star Wars Day : May 25, 1977 - May 25, 2017
  2. * Please post your inquiry in the Guild Recruitment Section of The Ebon Hawk Server Forums.
  3. Hopefully this helps... NOTE: * The cost of a transfer at this current time costs 1,000 cartel coins per transfer. * Don't forget that you can also get 1 transfer "free", if you are eligible for using someone's referral link. If you un-subscribe, You could possibly use 1 referral link about every 3 months, which could possibly be the cheapest way to make transfers.
  4. It looks like the TEMPLE GUARDIAN gear or a possible "reskin" version of it.

  6. If you choose to wait for timers, you can do that. For the rest that want to move things along a little quicker, here is a quicker way to transfer warzone commendations... * Buy the warzone commendations. (NOTE: warzone commendations are bound by legacy.) * Mail to an alt. * Log in to alt, open mail and collect, and then right click on commendations to add to this alt's comendations. It is as easy as that. NOTICE #1: You can also trade warzone commendations for regular commendations (crystals) from the PvP vendor. For transferring basic crystals ... transferring crystals from one toon to another, you can still buy armoring/mods/enhancements with crystals , drop them in legacy cargohold, swap over to another toon, collect the armor/mod/enhancements from legacy cargohold, and take to a crystal commendation vendor to redeem for crystals. NOTICE #2: The armor/mods/enhancements are not TOTALLY legacy bound , (as they can be moved into your legacy cargohold immediately and used by any alt) and do have a timer as well. If you do the moving within the time limit, you can swap out crystals just fine. After the timer runs out, they become bind on equip, and can no longer be redeemable for crystals. Hope that helps you a little better. May the force be with you.
  7. Greetings to all around the world: Today is May 17, 2016. International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. * * IDAHOT 2016 Media release Since we are an international guild and L.G.B.T- friendly, we are for equality everywhere. We are always looking to welcome new members, so check us out on The Ebon Hawk. carpe diem (seize the day) and may the force be with you.
  8. Years ago, I played and loved both K.o.t.O.R. & K.o.t.O.R. II The Sith Lords, and really loved it. Joined a friend in playing Star Wars Galaxies. Subscribed and played SWG until its shutdown in 2011. I still have screenshots saved from my time there. Whenever SWTOR was talked about I managed to keep up with the released information, because I was still playing SWG at the time. I did not register an account until July 19, 2009. The friends and other gamers I met in SWG decided to stay together, and we created a pre-release guild (that is still going) in SWTOR on March 22, 2011. * I have played in BETA weekends, closed BETA, and was able to test certain aspects before and after SWTOR was released. * I started playing on December 11, 2011( first day of early release), after another guildmember logged in 2 hours before me. * I pre-ordered a CE Edition, and have been a subscriber since day #1. Subscription has never lapsed yet. * I am an altoholic as well, and have over 16 toons, just on one server, not to mention other servers. I have to say a few things... - Even though I have tried out a few other M.M.O.'s like L.o.t.R.O. and W.o.W., I am not really a gamer in the aspect of jumping to different games,BUT I am more of a Star Wars lover, and love that universe and that is why I am also on a roleplay server to not only play in but also LIVE in that universe. - Grinding many toons through K.o.t.F.E. bites, as many other reputation grinds are legacy bound. - Knowing when to say no, take a break, get away from the game, as well as getting away from the computer helps alot. I, personally love to go fishing, relax, tell tales of the one that got away like all the other great fishermen out there. When I return back home, the computer and SWTOR awaits for me to log in and enjoy myself in a galaxy far, far away. Long story short OP ? Have you overstayed your welcome? No. You did not come here to visit this galaxy that brings out the child in you and then leave...right? You came to this galaxy far, far away to stay, to feel the force, and have fun ... or at least until EA/BW choose to shutdown the servers and turn off the lights...(hoping that is no where in the forseeable future)
  9. I was just googling and started to wonder if anyone ever thought of server titles. As someone that came from SWG, we were given server titles when they merged servers or someone transferred to a different server. I just thought it would be interesting to show your pride where you came from or at least where a particular character was created. There are possibilities here to work with, I believe. EXAMPLES: * John Smith, of The Ebon Hawk server. * John Smith, from The Lord Adraas galaxy. * John Smith, transfer from The Shadowlands. * John Smith, refugee of The Harbinger.
  10. I started around 2 p.m. CST today, trying to get the update patched. Other than doing the following: I have not really done anything. I monitored SWTOR Twitter, as well as the forums for possible fixes. I had to deal with a few errands, then I decided to check my system, update anything else and restart my system. At 7 p.m. CST, I decided to try again and patch the game while I was watching THE FLASH. It finally updated and by 8 p.m., I was ingame. Although I see some other fixes now that are bugged. I no longer have the gear on in my appearance tabs, but I will leave that for a bug report. For those wondering: * I did not redo my system. * I did not re-install of the game. * I do not have bit raider on my launcher. * I still have new launcher still working. * The patch was small , just took a while to download due to server load.
  11. True. In doing so, heed a little advice though... #1. (If you are a guildleader), place someone you trust in command while you are away. That way, if and when you choose to return, you can assume your role again. #2. (If you are in a guild), notify your leadership, about taking a leave of absence, or use your forums or guild website (if available) to leave a notice about your leave. This is a great way of showing respect. #3. Do NOT leave one game and go to another for a break. All you are doing is trading 1 issue for another. #4. If you need new insight or refresh yourself, when on your break -remove yourself from the computer, if at all possible. #5. Even when not on a break, always remember life takes precedence. Take the spouse out on a date. Go fishing or hunting with friends. Go to the beach with your partner. Take kids to an amusement park. #6. Have fun. Relax.
  12. Unfortunately, the criers and complainers get their way. When HK-55 was released in story, people did not want to see a potentially great companion go to the trash heap. They gave us the ability to recruit him, as well as getting new HK themed gear each month. With some getting real tired of this, others persist on commenting for more gear. Since the time HK was recruited to the time in August 2016, (see here) when we get the Bonus chapter, where we can play as HK-55. I have a theory on what I believe may potentially be our next possible reward. After hearing people getting this month's rewards, some people were left out, so a possible HK-themed double-blade vibrosword, an autocannon and blaster rifle set, may be next. So be prepared for more HK-55, as we know it is still possible to get more since we still have 3+ months til the end of season 1.
  13. Greetings to you: After reading your post, you seem to have everything... * the law enforcement officer. * the uniform. * the cruiser. * the roleplay attitude. But, you have forgotten the most important thing... the donuts. Here is something for you to smile as you watch this - Donuts and Cops. Remember, on the Ebon Hawk, the sanity of our roleplayers is always in question. LOL ! Have a good day.
  14. Wow, and no one mentioned the down side of the level 60 token. If you go through the token, you do NOT get any titles that are class-driven. So if you are a roleplayer, you will NOT get the ( APPRENTICE, LORD, DARTH, CAPTAIN, LIEUTENANT, MAJOR, PADAWAN, MASTER) titles. The titles consists of Chapter 1,2,3, and titles you get from the Rishi/Yavin IV storyline class quests as well. You can see what titles you can get or miss out by going to DULFY . Going through level 1 to level cap might seem long, but is still rewarding.
  15. To check to see if a name is taken, just write the name in and add the name to your friend's list on both faction sides. If the name goes into your friend's list, then it is already taken. If the name does not exist on either side, then it is available. NOTE: Some names may not be available, due to lore, story, etc per B/W or EA. As such, under SWTOR RULES OF CONDUCT, the naming policy is stated as such below:
