  1. Excited enough to make me cancel my sub!!
  2. Star Wars + Bioware = enough to get me to try it. Bioware's inability to design a compelling game + upcoming changes I think take the game in an unwelcome direction = I have 4 days remaining on my time before I'm out.
  3. The last ounce of joy I was having in SWTOR was getting to know allies and rivals in Warzones. Now, Bioware is going to take that away and turn it into another faceless grind. Solidifies my decision to leave SWTOR and never come back. Amazing how Bioware turned a good, satisfied customer like me into one hating the game and company in the span of a week. And people claim the developers aren't good at anything...
  4. Interesting. Most of the PvPers on my server quit en masse yesterday and today after this announcement. Imperial fleet went from 220-240 in the evening to 130 (on a weekend night!). Our server PvP queue went from an average of 2-3 minutes to 20 minutes for a WZ to pop. GG, Bioware.
  5. Too late for me. Had they done this earlier they would have kept me as a customer, but the current UI is unusable for me and I figure if I have to go 2 weeks without logging in I might as well just unsub and find a different game.
  6. Even then, if that person bothered, they could do a 30 second Google search and find that those are symptoms of very common things like eye strain and motion sickness (which can be caused by certain patterns of flashing lights), neither of which are signs of serious medical conditions at all.
  7. And Barracudaster runs because he/she does not like it when someone proves they are full of crap and lying through their teeth.
  8. Sorry, I have the same expertise as you and I can safely say that this is a sign of a very serious underlying medical condition. It's irresponsible for you not to get that checked immediately.
  9. I followed you up until the underlined part, but the underlined part is total crap. The symptoms you listed are all very common symptoms of eye strain or motion sickness, which are in turn almost never a symptom of some major underlying illness. Stop trying to imply people have some kind of underlying medical condition and that it is our fault if the rave style lights SWTOR introduced give us headaches.
  10. Same thing with me. No video game has ever given me a headache before. SWTOR did not before Tuesday. Now I can't play for long before getting a headache -- that came only after the new Christmas Tree/Rave Club UI change.
  11. My prediction? No matter what the questions, the answer will be a variation of: "That's an interesting question, and we have plans about that in the future. However, we don't have any information we can reveal right now. Next question!" Multiply that x 10.
  12. Twitching, if it is not around the eye, maybe. Headaches and nausea, no. Both are very common symptoms of both eyestrain, and of motion sickness, which certain light patterns can bring on in people susceptible to it. I am, which is why I don't go on boats and never read books while in a car. Going to the doctor because you get eye strain from flashing lights is as ridiculous as going to a doctor because you sneezed in a room full of dust. Must not be the dust, right? Must be some underlying medical condition completely unrelated!
  13. My eyes are fine. Your thought process is not. Get that checked out.
  14. "People can't be affected by pulsing strobe lights because they aren't similarly affected by the lamp next to their bed. Herp, Derp."
  15. I see the ignorant are trotting about again. There is a difference between colored, random patterns of abilities and the rhythmic, pulsating flash that hits from every direction currently. Some people are more susceptible to motion sickness or eye strain than others, and toughing through just makes the illness worse. Your response is about as smart as saying "Well, if flashing strobe lights give you problems, how can you possibly be out in the sun? They both involve lights! Derp." Anyway, I solved my GCD problem by canceling my sub.
