I think I found what was going on... As I said I turned off the firewall, but I did all these steps back when 4.0 was released. It started to happen again with 4.1 - so I never even went to try firewall turning off thing. So I, just to be 100% sure again, turned firewall off again - and all worked. So I went to see allowed programs list -- and, launcher was allowed only into private networks. On the other way, so was swtor.exe - but it managed to work somehow Just removing them from list did the job PS :feel stupid:

I have Win10 built in FireWall / AV. As I said, I disabled them, and got same result. Also, there's probably some NAT going on with router, but I presume this is un-related. What else can I provide to help?

been there... disabled antivirus / firewall completely my only guess is the CDN propagation issue, but it's only a guess. after all, I can download files manually using browser, and by the look of it (user agent) launcher uses some kind of web-view.

So, after 4.0 was released and now, after 4.1... every time I try to log in into game I have "Network Error 208". Since I can't get into client, I can't open ticket to customer support. I wrote an email - and they said me "buy the game, no support for F2P"... and I'm sub for what now... 4 years? never unsubbed since the pre-launch. So, well... I'm a technical guy, downloaded all they *.manifest files, ran a local file server; edited hosts file ... and now serving launcher these files manually... really Bioware? I would like to suggest an idea where mobs can drop they exact outfit as a loot. These drops will be useful only for outfit designer and would be used as a whole item whilst separate parts could not be changed (about separate parts is just an option, not a requirement). For example, say player defeated a certain Czerka mob on Tatooine, a loot from said mob will have a chance (place how rare) to include an exact outfit look of the same mob. It also can be a rare reward for defeating operation or flashpoint bosses. Pros I think many players would like the idea. Cartel Market can have unique sets on sale as well, as "cheaper" version of "sets" boxes. Cons If republican character defeats Imperial one, republican character will have Imperial outfit, by thus contradicting Kira Carsen's observation about fashion designers joining dark side. But this is not a problem since CM introduction

In my guild, there are 144 active player accounts present. Many of us have alts ... I have 10 in guild Recently officers started to remove "less" active alts... Is there any plans to lift amount of members allowed?

It's not about that. It's about, I made plans: I made a new character; Spent credits buying unlocks (and character slot unlock, as it's mine 15th toon); I held on doing KDY on Republic side, knowing I will level my new toon only on KDY on Republic. I even bought all XP Boosts needed. And now they tell me: "It's not working". Well sorry mister, you advertised DoubleXP, you advertised KDY, no you make me pay for something that works not as advertised. I dunno about F2P-s, I'm paying for this game since the headstart. I want BW to test the product!!! For which I paid $420 already, and ~$50 for CC too (wanted the pets). That should I do? Should I silently accept it, and "go on"? Especially when I have a key for ESO Beta weekend, and my raid team mostly unsubbed in a wait for WS? I stayed cause I love the game, but FFS ... devs hurt my feelings. (and don't teach me about program design, and tests... I'm Developer myself, Team Leader actually)

(but I got it) "Bogwing": I got it by getting Belsavis Bogwing codex entry - yes, not rly related to Ilum "Kath Hound": I think it's not Ilum as well, but Alderaan or Balmora related codex. EDIT Tried to kill various Kath Hounds on Alderaan; Escaped on Corellia; I guess Balmora is the last place to try to get all the dif. types of'em.

What, like space Flash Points? or Space Operations? Really? I'm PvE player, I don't love PvP ... but, I think space PvP is really reasonable and BW did nothing bad.
