Mercenaries have a constantly diminishing heat level. Every move or heal you do builds up heat. If you build up too much heat you can no longer use special moves and have to wait a few seconds for the heat to dissipate.

I'm on Jung Ma as well. From what I've seen on the forums I've either been very lucky with rp or Jung Ma is the only server where people roleplay.

I was Kiet Paget on Wanderhome. A bartender that never once, in the course of the game, left Correllia. She tended bar at the Tyrena Cantina. I also had a tailor named Wooglin. That server is where I got my start with online Role Playing.

I've yet to have a time online that I didn't get a solid chunk or RP. I've had so many random people come up and join in that I have no idea where these complaints are coming from. RP won't be handed to you. Get in there and START roleplaying. People will join!

I have to say, I've been very pleased with the quality and amount of roleplay on this server.

I agree. We know we don't have them. Saying it AGAIN isn't helping. Instead, write without them for now. Start some improv RP. It's fun!

Frankly, the best thing you can do (which I tend to do) is just stay in character. Yesterday we had about two hours where the general chat was totally IC. I found some great RP interaction when I was just hanging out in the nexus room. If you stay in character, people will play along. Non-RPers might even play along. I've had some great RP sessions in this game so far. Treat the public chat channels such as General as an open comlink. Sure, non-rpers get on there too, but you just deal with it, ignore it, or incorporate it.
