If they haven't already done so.... I'm quite positive they already read ( devs ) and at least pretty sure they know how failing bolster is Its definitely the wrong time to be ignorant, and I don't think they will choose to be so for this matter, if they will... it will basically just sent an very ugly message towards their player community and subscribers, and let's not forget about new potential players and others mmos that they compete with... ... You don't want to create an image about your product where people are laughing thinking you messed it up so bad... or should I say better, you WOULDN'T want to KEEP THAT UGLY IMAGE FOR TOO LONG ...

There is NO WAY season 4 Ranked can start with this Bolster crap issue the game is facing at the moment... Gear is basically making no sense now, everything is messed up, stats and numbers are all off.... broken mmo thats what it is

There is NO knowledge on that and there can be none further on either, as the game now cuz of this reason is totally unbalanced and without any sense... moreover, is happening randomly for players or some of one's toons if not on one's account as well, I don't know yet if there will be any issues with my sentinel as well as I didn't start to gear him up yet ? But one thing is certain... Bioware better respond and fix this ASAP, as this is not an issue that they can afford to take forever to fix it... Couldn't agree more mate... swtor 3.0 > you are basically getting high end pvp gear and top augment with top so u can achieve : Less hp, less bonus damage on all ( melee, force and healing bonus ) and this is all towards the pvp side and community of this game... I mean... how would it appear if a pvp player would go right now with full pvp gear to run The Ravagers HM op and he will get bolster with stats higher on all aspects than a fully Pve geared player who worked his *** to get to that level ? .....

Once again Loki, failing to make a solid argument here, as if you would read my opening post properly, you would see the first test was done with NO AUGMENTS ... and the problem is still there, NOT JUST HP issue but also damage bonus discrepancy ... let me repeat : NO AUGMENTS , so pls stop blaming or bringing on the augments stuff... As for the augments situation, if they did so with 3.0 as you mention, than once again is a very bad idea, because basically what your saying is : NO MATTER WHAT AUGMENT YOUR MAIN STAT ! ... otherwise your bolster will not work properly .. wait WHAT ?! Ohh wowau... than maybe bioware or you care to explain what is even the point of having augments of power, alacrity or crit in this game... doesn't make any sense mate.. NOTHING... first of all, we gave the example with NO AUGMENTS which shows same result : BOLSTER IS BROKEN Second... this post is not about what stats to augment or not... ... and third... you don't even know what you are talking about even if this post would be for what to augment, willpower or power... you are the one should probably learn that the only difference between those two when it comes to Inquisitors and Consular is that power augments will give u .03 more bonus damage ... as in willpower augments you will get that .03 less bonus damage but will add some crit as well... For your own information, as an assassin you don' need to gimp yourself in crit ... So... don't be rude calling ppl including me, derps and than troll this post point with nothing that is related to it or even makes any sense. You Sir have a nice day as well wherever you are and hopefully next time you write you will bring something helpful to the table.

Hey Texoc, yeah mate its true is not happening for everyone, some do and others will not. Even so, is still a total mess for PvP at the moment and absolutely unbalanced, the amount of higher aim, cunning and presence stats Gav has from extra datacrons should have nothing to do with this anyways, especially we are talking about Warzones and Pvp areas. .... its quite frustrating to see your toon entering wearing full tier II and fully high end augments, just to see someone with mixed Tier I and pve items, or even pve blue items, has better stats than he does....

Hey Aetideus , thanks for dropping by mate, all right so for your quote right there, if you pay a closer look at the opening post, you will notice there are two different situation in those print screens, one is where WE WEAR AUGMENTS ... and the other is WHERE WE DONT The print screen you are mentioning we both have no augments, that's why we have same tool-tips. That is absolutely right Csillagkari, good notice there... and that is happening because as mentioned for that print screen we already augmented our gear and the difference is that Yobs augmented full Advanced Resolve 36 ( endurance and willpower ) while Gav augmented full Advanced Overkill 36 ( endurance + power ) ... BUT ... for this reason it makes it even more clear how broken is bolster because we all know that the difference of power augments of willpower is that will give a few extra points of bonus damage compared with willpower which will give u slightly less bonus damage but at the same time will add a bit of critical rate as well to your stats... Therefor... this yet another reason for the damage bonus and force damage ( healing bonus as well ) to be higher than Yobs and under no circumstances Gav should be lower... when augmenting with power over willpower at the expense of that slight increase in crit. All right guys, I know the title of this post might seem a bit aggressive but believe me IT IS NOT because in the next few minutes you will be able to see clear crystal how bolster is 100% messed up in Swtor 3.0 and how is transforming our lovely game into an mmo where… being fully pvp Tier II ( Dark Reaver Set ) makes your toon WEAKER than being geared with blue items or mixing pvp tier 1 with pve items… YESSS ! “ ohh wait ! I thought bolster is supposed to create a smaller gap… between pve or less geared players and… pvp better geared players being equal in the amount is bolstering across… “ All you guys need to do, is take few minutes and within 3 simple clicks following the next links, you will see without any doubts how bolster is … NOT WORKING ! Let’s get started : In the first following link you will see two players on two Hatred Assassin characters with identical Hatred spec and PvP GEAR ( Full Dark Reaver ) only difference would be the earpiece which for Yobs is power and SURGE, where for Gav is power and alacrity! NO augments . Please note the screenshots were first taken outside any PvP area, take a very close look at both players amount of HP, Pri. Damage and Bonus Damage stats : http://imageupper.com/i/?S0200010020011L1419309802752678 As you could probably notice there are few slight differences on stats even thou same gear and if you going to pay close attention those are coming due the slight increase in strength stat which is higher from due Datacrons ( all thou is not a primary stat for this class it will still give a slight increase when stacked. ) All good till this point, now let’s go ahead to serious business and see what happens in a warzone http://imageupper.com/i/?S0300010030011Q1419310021751582 OK, by now you probably notice there is a 3.400 HP difference and +40 Bonus Damage difference on melee which stacked on all abilities will make a difference all thou that is not the point, the point is BOLSTER NOT BEING EQUAL … 3400 HP … WHAT ?! Hold on, is getting even better… in the next and last print screen, we added full augments advanced 36! Go ahead and look what happens with both HP values and this time we will take a look at the Force Bonus values : Damage and Healing http://imageupper.com/i/?S0400010070011U1419310145751249 Ok, so we have over 100 Force bonus damage and healing, which will make one’s force abilities like in our case Death Field, Discharge, Creeping Terror, to hit with at least 500 to 1000 more damage per ability per same amount of time…. PLEASE NOTE DOWN SIDE OF THE LAST PRINT SCREEN TAKEN OUTSIDE PVP AREA ON THE FLEET, WHERE YOU CAN SEE CLEARLY THAT ONCE AUGMENTS HAS BEEN ADDED THE AMOUNT OF HP WILL NOT CHANGE ANYMORE WHEN SWITCHING TO WARZONE – is identical regardless : 43.659 HP … where the other player ( Yobs ) will have his hp bolster by over 3400 HP when entering a pvp area. We can only say that some players are more lucky with bolster… or… that Bioware messed it up really bad with this bolster in 3.0 Believe me this is the best example you can actually see, but I will follow up with another example where you can see a player geared with BLUE and a mix of pve / pvp TIER 1 items, that will have better stats than the one with full Dark Reaver set.. in a WARZONE… How lame is that… what is the point of even gearing with full pvp tier 2 set than… Thank you all for your time people, have fun playing Swtor 3.0 with a broken bolster Hopefully will get an answer from the devs regarding this issue, and that is if they will still remember that this game ALSO has a pvp community !
