    MMO's :)
  1. I have same confusion. I have character done all major expansion story missons and still cant access daily manaan missions.
  2. They allowed level 75 to join MM FP. You pray for easy FP when you see that Instead they should have created FP MM tier list. Each of them give bit better loot depending how hard FP actually is. We all know Ruins of Nul and Umbara are the most demanding at the moment. Imagine level 75 there i mean seriously? Those should be own tier. If you queue them then you get extra rewards AND something special (be it gear) that you cant get elsewhere or cosmetic items that are exclusive. The easy FP's can join as level 75. Then we solved many problems. Those who want most challenge FP and seek extra rewards can pre team up before queue or just queue. Rest of players can play other FP's (different tier FP list) without afraid that people will leave when those hardest 2 pop up. Mind you i did Ruins of Nul with 322 gear and nope its not fun. Just takes too much time and effort to get it done. Feels like ops HM work that needs people to interact more than pug groups are asked for.
  3. I can tell you my story. I started doing GSF weekly on 4 toons (some are repeatable 2 times before lockout). Each weekly gives you 60 tokens. I did on 4 toons and ended up close to 900 tokens yesterday. So i bought 318 gear and upgraded to 326 instantly. Same with relics and offhand. All you need is many level 80 alts and bit time as you dont have to win GSF to complete weeklies. Normal PvP is waste of time if you wont be on imps side and have many active pvp'ers who carry most. I wasted 2 days realizing that normal pvp is wasted of time as it needs wins only to count weekly.
  4. Force apprentice's tunic chest piece has 2 places what wont dye correctly and stay pure white only. Here is a picture of problem. Preview seems correct https://www.upload.ee/image/13643538/preview.png But in reality looks like this https://www.upload.ee/image/13643539/real.png
  5. Subs alone were not enough to keep this game alive. This happened less than a year after game release in november 2012. They knew that this game wont be alive if it had to rely on subs only. A lot are new players now dont even know the facts. Cartel market is only reason why they can keep servers alive.
  6. You ask too many and too detailed questions regarding content. Have you ever considered that Eric wont answer because he simply cant reveale the situation this game/Bioware office is right now? To come openly here on forums and say what they will definetly not bring this year or next year is basically confirming community fears (the very fond playerbase) that game does not get focus any longer as it used to. If Eric or his team had anything solid to know for 100% they can bring to this game they would have already done so. At this moment they make very shallow road map bbecause they are not sure IF they can even bring that in time and as players have hoped for. Just think a bit in bigger picture here. You ask more details yet Bioware Swtor team may know they struggle to bring out anything meaninfgul for the next 6-12 months.
  7. Anthem? In my book that game doesnt exist. I'm so done with EA anyway and Bioware is just a name EA been using for years. I will definetly stay away from EA published games in future.
  8. Those who put aside passion and being huge fan of Star Wars in general could have seen this miles away. You only have to look facts. Those who ignore facts just dont want this game to close down simple as that. They can hope and play this game but most fans will eventually cancel subs especially old players (no im not paying sub just used refferal link kinda accidently). I left this game over year ago as i knew exactly where its going to and well i wasnt mistaken. BW just trying to maintain what is possible in current state but there are no big plans for this game and they know it. Quetion is when do passionate fans actually realize that.
  9. Enjoy your "gear grind" i guess. Population is still on decline. I guess its balanced overall. 1 happy customer for 5 unhappy.
  10. Dont worry they are looking to get more devs for CM, characters and objects for story missions. But the core game vision stays same - rng and grind. The Associate UI Artist will work with UI/UX designers and engineers, under the direction of the Art Director, to maintain and advance the UI for the Cartel Market and the core game. They will create wireframes for new UI screens or components. https://career4.successfactors.com/career?career_ns=job_listing&company=EA&navBarLevel=JOB_SEARCH&rcm_site_locale=en_US&career_job_req_id=109518&jobPipeline=Indeed Working with Lead Cartel Artists under the direction of the Art Director, A Cartel Artist is expected to develop and build assets and VFX to be sold on the Cartel Market in SWTOR. https://career4.successfactors.com/career?career_ns=job_listing&company=EA&navBarLevel=JOB_SEARCH&rcm_site_locale=en_US&career_job_req_id=109517&jobPipeline=Indeed BioWare is seeking a contract Associate Concept Artist for Star Wars: The Old Republic to create compelling art that captures the mood and style of Star Wars. 11. Thats because of new changes in 5.0 that is not new player friendly let alone alt friendly. Before 5.0 you only had to level up character if you were new player and then join guild and start gearing and having fun. Now? Its opposite. You need to start grinding at level cap and for each character! This will end any population growth and will be opposite. Its already happpening. With 5.2 it will get even worse for new players so only old players are pretty much left playing IF they want to seriously progress in this game continuing grinding rng/cxp. Mark my words they will introduce new packs or boost this year for high price to get certain ranks because no one with common sense would start grinding from 0 to tier 5 example.
  12. Summer definetly but EA fiscal year ends in march, so we will know more soon enough what will happen with this game. Bioware wont tell us bad news if EA makes decision that this game is not worth running next year if it comes to that. Instead will make tons of direct CM sales before the end. A lot fans are underestimating EA greed and this company policy - MAKE good profit or abandon the game. So Bioware will just limp and squeeze as much they can with current content and doing as minimal as possible new content. From business point of view it makes sense. Why produce a lot new content if profit and subs going down. I'm not gonig into that why its happening - its already debated for years.
  13. I played that game prior joining TOR. Still love that game idea and the look sadly Turbine kinda destroyed it with same logic as Bioware trying to implement - huge grind and microtransactions. Lotro has a lot p2w boosts in shop and items that is only biggest difference from TOR. Aside that this is exactly how you communicate with community and give heads up with game development planning over longer period. Bioware doesnt do that and never done with this game. Longest period i know they discussed updates openly in detail are up to one month. Rest is all big mystery and even in test server they dont show all until live server you get a big surprise why a lot changed that has not even spoken about. I shall keep eye on Lotro then if developement moving to better direction there. Still got lifetime account there with "something" else i cant speak about
  14. Its not nice to bash "dead horse". Those who are still playing this game and find it entertaining then its good for them, but asking why population is not growing and actually gets worse should not be surprising. New players generally wont invest time or money into old MMO that is known in community (reddit/fan pages ect) to have big issues and lack of content updates or clear vision how to solve community biggest concerns but doing the opposite - developers have their own agenda for this game that most of us dont even understand why they are doing that. Calling it exciting does not cut it or explain in detail. Other mmo lead devs or community relation leaders write posts why they are doing changes and what to expect in future. Here with this game we dont even know why they make changes even after they have pushed it to live. So eventually if cartel market sales dries up i can confidently say EA will have to make a choice.
  15. Why its surprise for you OP? This is how Bioware handles this game for years. They want customers to grind the hell out of this game as there wont be enough new content anyway soon. Just accept how it is and move on like many have done. Trust me Bioware is not worth our effort to explain any longer. This has been done before 5.0 and after GC. Invsting your time and money elsewhere is best option.
