I have read through your story yesterday and finished it all up today while I had time to kill at work. I must say that I have enjoyed reading all that you have written. I have characters on Jekk'Jekk myself, main reason I went with that server was because it was one of the unofficial Australian servers and being from Australia myself it suited me, plus there wasn't a queue like on Harbringer & Swift Sure. I still get on Jekk'Jekk every now and then, but have been playing on an asian/pacific server due to the lower ping. Once I can transfer I will be doing so. I think many others are planning the same thing, as lower ping and people being on during you peak periods help. Would you prefer playing with ping around 250-300 or ping at 50.

From what I've heard they have no intention at this stage of having a separate maintenance for the asia/pacific servers. SO for the time being you get to enjoy the servers going down at 7pm in Melb/Sydney

I played WoW from launch and suffered more problems than I have had on TOR. So many times after a WoW patch the game was pretty much unplayable, not had a problem like that here. I'm playing on a low end machine as I'm putting the parts together for a new one and I am able to play the game without much issue and am enjoying doing so. If you must Troll by all means do so, but never try make WoW look as though it was problem free, for it never was and was still having issues when I finally gave it up for good. I think it is great that the dev's got reports of problems on the test server and want to find and fix the problems before making it live.

Sith Sorcerer lvl 35. Got in during early access but lost almost 2 weeks while I had to wait for my game to arrive, downside of being in Aus. Would have more chars but made a bet with a mate that I could go 3 weeks with just one character, cause in my wow days I had way too many low lvl alts.

I, Jedi is a great book, have read it many times. Michael A. Stackpole is a good Author, has a few other star wars books which are interesting.

Give it a shot. I have find the Sorc fun to play, I have some points in healing and some in lightning damage, I can lay down some dps and then throw out heals when required. Find the type that suits you and go with it.
