  1. /Signed I will always support every idea/concept which is user friendly and make life easier. ps. it would have been much more simple if the devs/EA thought of leaving some parts of the game to the modding community for UI updated but ehm..it didnt happen.
  2. Greetings, it would be really great if we could have 1 or 2 double xp weekends before 2.4 hits the game. We could get ready for arena's and level a char that we would like to use for them. In the meantime BW could have more time to fine tune the patch. Sign if you like the idea or discuss. Thanks for reading. Have a nice day and may the force be with you!
  3. signed and bumped. i agree completely.
  4. Dude you just gave the answer to your own first question. You prefer AP playstyle, i prefer Pyro style. It's a matter of taste. Neither is bad or good. I usually play only one char in every mmo, yes i do roll others and cap their level but i always stick to the one i love and prefer. I dont reroll mains just because they are FOTM or FOTY or even best of the worse choice. IMHO all classes should be playable and should be able to perform well in their role, brining specific utility to the group. The balance should be done in that direction not with zero sum strategy. Personally, i was really angry when PT got nerfed, i complained about our poor defences even before 2.0 but i lived with that. I rolled other chars and leveled them because i was plain bored and then after i got them all to 55 i just left them there and went back to Bounty Hunter. For some people that rolled warriors since the start (not FOTM rerollers) this game has been a blast. For people like me who will stick to play PT even after months of nerfs this game became the worst MMO disappointment of all times.
  5. The armor you see on PTS is just a placeholder. But i am amazed how good it looks, finally Blizzard made a right step to improve World of Warcraft armour...oh WAIT!
  6. Maybe they are frustrated BW/EA employees in disguise:-) I have real data that in certain countries where freedom of speach is not well considered how many journalists are obliged to check the comments on their articles online and produce statments that support the article and contraddict the critics. Hope this is not the case:-) Big brother is always among us!!:-)
  7. I get your words, that always makes problems when you acquire a licence, as we all do when play mmo's. It's not a bilateral contract subject to negotiation. Every time you start the game you accept those terms. BW and EA own everything and they can change it without prior notice if they wish. The fact stands that EA is moving from subscription form to buy to play business plan. Microtransactions probably have more weight in their financial reports so they boost and invest in that direction. Its not, therefore that they dont care about subs, its just that they matematically see they can earn more money with cartel program then with subs so they dedicate more resources to develop that feature. Unfortunatelly, when pure desire of profit outgrows the desire for making products and brands that improve quality, this is what happens. Moreover, i feel this game is modelled for USA markets and mentality. Europeans want usually to buy the bundle that has quality, sometimes forgetting that added value has a cost of production, while Americans prefer to buy only the pieces that they find of extreme value for them, sometimes forgetting that the total cost is far superior that the bundle.
  8. By the same logic you use, if you dont like the topic that OP started dont comment or criticize him. Move along.
  9. Actually being in law enforcement makes you follow orders. you don't get to decide the terms of contracts established between two parts or if one of two decide when the spirit of trust that the contract established is violeted. And by the way "bordering criminal" (term used by OP) is different then "criminal".
  10. i want to add my opinion on this topic too and share my experience. i always had delays and i play swtor for a about a year now. i used to play my powertech since start till 2.0. i probably never noticed this delay in a proper way because i mostly used instant cast abilities and i used to spam those few buttons without really noticing big issues. What hit me was when in endgame ops, with best gear on i could not reach the same dps as my fellow pt's with par gear. All i heard was L2P issue. Now after 4-5 months of "learning to play" statements almost nothing changed, my dps at the end was far inferior then any i could see on major server DPS leaderboards. In any case i was satisfied with my char because i loved it and i continued to play. By the time 2.0 hits i decide to roll other chars, a scoundrel then a jugg and finally a marauder. With marauder being a class that needs very good muscle memory and constant keybind management i notice i had to press some abilities more then once in order to execute them. So i say maybe i should lower the effets on my computer, which by the way is in no way a super rig but a very good gaming laptop. Skyrim run perfectly with maximum settings, Swtor can't. Ok no problem, i still like the game more so i can admit there's some lag or whatever that causes delays between client and server. Being a heavy pvper i have mentally maped my rotations and learned the keybinds by heart. Since couple of days i find the delay problem more and more frustrating, put in that some gfx hickup and am dead soon then you know it. On the other hand, talking with some buddies that score insane damage on the final scoreboard, i find that they dont have this issue or at least not so heavy as me. A not worth to mention that 90% of people who i know and are dps freaks, and yeah they are the best out there, have some heavy rigged computer that could probably control by itself the whole NASA HQ, and i can see it because on forums they speak about their computers and post pictures and videos, stream when they play. So enough with the rant, there is enough proof of videos frame by frame showing the delay for BW to acknowledge this problem. There is always the issue of latency which adds on the delay. One good way to test this delay, if u have a chat then can charge/leap. Take a buddy that can do it too, duel him take distance and run toward eachother and check how many times he or you will leap first toward the other person, taking in consideration that you both should leap one on eachother. This is something that happens to me 80% of the times in warzones, simple i get charged/leaped on by my mirror classes and i cannot prevent it. I hope this thread keeps alive this issue and make aware people who are not aware of this (because this is their first mmo or don't care or it doesn't happen to them so they think it shouldnt happen to anyone else) to finally see the problem. And my ultimate wish should be a fix to this problem. Cheers.
  11. I miss a lot my Powertech, he's the reason i started playing Swtor. Being a fan of bounty hunters since i saw the SW movies and played SWG because of that. Perhaps like many others. And i play PVP...on my other chars which i find more usefull then my pt. Now, dont you all say pt's are not usefull anymore, i can happily admit that at lvl 51 i make plenty of cash with armstech selling mk-9 kits:-) He's parked in Imperial fleet. Well, thanks for reading this rant, i just woke up and dont want to write anything usefull. I'll go smash things away. YAY
