Here's a tip: When attacking a group of mobs, target and kill the weak/standard ones first, then kill the strong (harder) one/s last.

I, like many others this past weekend, went hard-out levelling. Got 10 levels in two days, however I continued with the planets as normal and didn't skip anything - did all normal-difficulty missions and class missions, and had my idle companions running crew skills alot of the time. Due to purchasing items on the GTN I didn't have enough for level 40 Speeder Piloting, but that can wait. I do see normal missions as necessary in order to ensure healthy credit-flow.

Re-roll.

Also, if you open up your quest log with the map, and mouse-over the quest name, the location will be highlighted on the map. That may help you.

I've been playing for 5 weeks, having fun. Mainly levelling solo, level 42 Merc. Joined a guild last week, great bunch of people and many laughs are had. Have only run 2 FPs but had a great time. Solo DPSd the HK droid as our other DPS got knocked off the platform and spent 10mins running back lol. And the surprise worm bonus boss had us all surprised. Currently really enjoying the BH storyline, companions are coming thick and fast and got most of my abilities, rotation learned and nearly all orange gear.

It's also a holiday in NZ. +1

Fact: Companies need money in order to pay for things that they need to deliver their services/goods to customers and other miscellaneous costs. It doesn't make sense that BW spend millions making the expansion, and don't at least get to cover their costs by charging us users.

Yeah, good luck with that.

I've only been playing about a month. I play solo, just levelling, exploring, having fun. I have been playing MMO's for a few years (raided every week on WoW for 4 years). What irks me is the people on the forums who gripe and complain and moan ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Sure, even I come across bugs. Most often companions or enemies who disappear into the ground and I can't target them. But I move on, keep going. Doesn't bother me. I had issues subbing for the first time, had to call Ireland 6 times. But it got fixed. I got my card debited for my second month of subscription, and still haven't got my cartel coins. *GASP* OH NOES. Is there anyone out there who encounters problems with this game, yet doesn't tear their hair out and threaten to /slit or /sue or /quit?

Just by looting everything, vendoring trash, and putting green/blue/purple/orange drops on the GTN you should be swimming in creds.

I find that quest rewards don't adequately provide gear upgrades for you and your companion, so don't be afraid of checking the GTN for crafted greens. They are usually listed at the default price, so are quite cheap. I usually just find upgrades worth it, rather than anything less than 5 stat points I just forget about.
