  1. Forums move quick, i wish there was a tech forum.
  2. Tried this in customer support but cant find my thread again lol. Since yesterday I have had bad frame issues, most notably during combat. I am on Taris at the moment and for some reason my frames jump everywhere. 40-50 inside buildings 20-33 outside random 4-6 spikes during combat Ive been to this planet before and have been playing since early access with no issues(i never even bothered to look at fps). But all of a sudden combat is unbearable, I tried to tank but couldnt see where the mobs were going occassionally and end up breaking cc i couldnt see in time. DxDiag below ADDED: windows 7 I7 quad core ATI 6900 graphics card Laptop Like i said, I handled this game fine on high everything before with all high settings(bloom off). Im not sure what changed but its impossible doing group stuff like this, and I have died a few times from a mere pack of rakghouls...

    Pve On pvp servers?

Was wondering if there was any pve going on the pvp servers. Planned on going to a pvp server in this game to spice the game up. But TBH im half pvp/half pve, as I enjoy the story and hanging out in dungeons as well. Also, Il probably get access tomorrow, any good servers for a republic character?
  5. Hi, this has been a burning question for me of late, before i start I will brand myself as a wow player. This was more because my computer couldnt handle rift/war at the time than anything else. With the EGA wait that has happened I have been contemplating rolling on a pvp server. I have always been on a RP or pve server before this on wow because I was afraid of being ganked since I find getting people to group and quest is relatively hard. With the level imbalance that will occur when i get in on friday(hopefully) I can only imagine this will be tougher, even more so because i plan to go republic. Now, I am fine with pvp and enjoy it alot. After years of playing quietly on wow I have found that it is.. boring. All I do is sit in a city and wait for ques that drive me everywhere. Questing sucks because I am just following the same path I have travelled over and over again. I am hoping to spice this up with the threat of constant death, but again.. I fear I will just keep getting killed over and over by being outnumbered or outleveled which is a very real probability as republic. I dont mind dying, I dont mind pvping. But if its just people rofl stomping me from 10-50, I dont think that would be very fun either. I know people say that its a hazing procedure to just get killed over and over while leveling but I am wondering if thats the case in swtor? I am pretty sure I am not the only one with these questions and would like to get in a discussion to *hopefully* bring more pvpers in this game and not have it die in the first year like WoW. PS I also like rp and pve, which if the past has anything to say.. rp-pvp servers excel at anyways. TLDR Ive played on rp-pve servers on wow and feel like I missed half the game. I want to participate in these epic pvp battles you hear on the forums, but is it really that glamorous? Or will it just be me being killed by 5 guys when im trying to progress my story. Any comments appreciated.
  6. My only question is how "good" or "bad" must you be to get out of the neutral zone? Knowing im at the right number to aim for and not worrying about it would be nice
  7. If this is the case, Do i have to go all the way? Like EVERY decision I do must be good or evil? Is it fine to just be "mostly" good, or do you get more powerful the more light or dark you are?
  8. Sorry, I accidentally hit enter too soon and didnt get all of my message in. Reread pls
  9. Do I have to choose an alignment to get decent gear? I notice that in almost ALL Bioware games, you seem to get punished for staying neutral by not getting certain items/quests/abilities. Now, I dont want to stay neutral, but I dont wanna be a the next jesus or a puppy puncher either. Id really just prefer to do decisions how I would realistically do them. Will it hurt me for not choosing a side from the beginning and staying with it?
