  1. Two Sages and a Vanguard Names: Iaomai, Bullram and Macmu Classes: Sage, Sage, Vanguard Imperial/Republic: Republic
  2. As a Sage healer I've done 802k in Voidstar -- of course, conditions were perfect in that I wasn't targeted by 4 or 5 people and I was left alone to chain heals. Lol.
  3. Very good advice from everyone here. Lost Island (and especially the LR droid) is among the toughest content in the game at the hard-level. First and foremost you need to check and make sure everyone in your group is AT THE VERY LEAST on the Columi gear level. You absolutely, 100%, need the gearing from the tier 1 flash points to do well in tier 2. As it concerns the LR droid incinerate is the single most important component or the fight. As someone said -- cleanse it, interrupt it or wipe. Those are your only three choices. It's also important to remember, in the case of interrupting, that it is a CHANNELED ability; what this means is that if you interrupt it at the end it's as good as never interrupting it. As the ability is CHANNELED it STACKS with each TICK. If you interrupt it before the first tick hits, you've avoided the debuff completely. If the tank gets one stack it's easily taken care of -- just cleanse and move on. If the tank gets three stacks then you're going to have to do some serious healing. **Also note that the debuff is applied to anyone standing near the tank. So if it channels all the way, and you have melee DPS then the whole group, less you, gets the debuff. The rest of the flash point is really easy. The second boss is a tank and spank with little "run inside the boss at this point" mechanic. The bonus boss is also very easy. The doctor provides somewhat of a challenge so I'll give a little more advice from a healers vantage point. First, if your group is good they can avoid the green AOE stuff completely. This frees you up from having to cleanse them every once in a while. If they aren't good at avoiding the stuff no big deal. Periodically check each group member (raid frames) for the needle. I've made a rule for myself that > 3 stacks = cleanse. Other than that, it's tank and spank until the boss regenerates his health and turns into a giant monster. At that point it's best to have everyone stack at the door for your AOE heal. Really, that's it. If everyone is geared you shouldn't have a problem. Hope this helps.
  4. Do you guys have a BiS list for dedicated healers? I didn't see that in your post. :-(
  5. ... Have they said anything about it going free to play? As far as I'm aware they've mentioned giving interested players a chance to play until level 15... That's not a "step toward FTP"; that's a step toward being like every other MMO on the market. WoW does it. Rift does it. It's nothing new and it doesn't point to anything except a new incentive to get people to subscribe.
  6. ... So playing the game more makes you not a casual forum poster? O_o Anyway, I fail to see how your amazing and stunning credentials make you an expert on server capacity. It just means you play a lot.
  7. I'm sure they know better than a casual forum poster.
  8. And since when are you an expert on BioWare's servers? I think they know, better than you, how much each server can hold. No?
  9. No sir, they don't have a .... clue what they are doing. I've always been a supporter of this game but, as the current situation is, there was no way this could have went well. What in the world were you thinking BioWare? You seriously cannot handle more than 4 US servers? This has to be a joke.
  10. With the way Ranked is running on the PTS you play on TEAMS but are ranked INDIVIDUALLY. How in the world would you track the best teams? I'm so confused over this. Shouldn't we be able to form teams and have an individual rating and team rating?
  11. I would also recommend getting a laptop cooler with two fans located more on the backside. It's a laptop, so it gets very hot.
  12. An excellent choice! I ordered the m14x R1 when SWTOR came out and I've been playing on very high (PTS) with bloom off and shadows on low. I get a minimum of 40 FPS and a maximum of 60 FPS. I'm not picky with FPS, so it plays great for me. As for other games I've noticed that they typically run much better than SWTOR. Mass Effect 3, for example, runs smooth with EVERYTHING maxed out. Also, I have the R1 so, with the R2 expect to go beyond what I get. I think you'll be very happy. Congratulations!
  13. It's not that bad. We're still going to be dealing high amounts of damage and we still won't be "squishy" by any sense of the word. I think this is a great adjustment (played shadow since launch, so I know the class). It took our class, and this spec, from being "over the top" to being "just right" -- of course these are just my observations based on patch notes. I'll know a lot more once I play with it on the PTS. :-) Anyway, I think it's a good change.
