This is simply disappointing. I'm waiting or some kind of apology from Bioware for showing us a game that looked far better than the one we are allowed to play. Not canceling or throwing a fit, just growing disgusted with this shady behavior. We all assumed we were seeing the real ingame engine when you showed us those screenshots and videos, intead you were "faking it" and just showed us cinematics. Didnt they even say during the beta weekends that the high settings were just temporarily removed? Not positive on that last point but either way we rage at any other company who shows nothing but cinematic content in supposed gameplay vids, *** did they expect here?

Uh no. Short of giving you a level 50 of each AC to test out when you make the char there is nothing they can really do to give you the full experience with each class. If you should be able to swap betweet guardian and sentinel lets say, why shouldnt you be able to swab between consular and knight? In each case you made decisions based on incomplete information. I feel like a huge part of the game and mmos in general is about long term decision making. We should be careful about paring down those decisions lest we end up playing guild wars in space.

My guess is about the same number of children who are pissing and moaning about the game being a deathcamp for unicorns. Minus the 20-30% of that group who are just cantankerous little wankers who live to complain, and the trolls. Devs could probably just use this forums activity as a rough guideline of what to expect.

Uh no. No moreso than you need gear for all your offspecs, and ALL your companions. By all means roll on what you can make use of instead of letting it be junked, but expect to be on your servers blacklist real quickly if youre taking gear from a groupmate for your companion or offspec.

Whatever their excuse, there are empty servers and hundreds of thousands of bored fans venting frustration at being unable to play. They've traded the distinction of "the smoothest mmo launch in history" for a whole lot of unhappiness in their community.
