  1. Steady 60-65ms from finland now to the EU servers.
  2. Had a chat with people over at American servers, they said theres not been any lag spikes at all lately.
  3. I have characters on all servers, now been logged in on North American server for a while and no lagspikes there. So looks like its an EU thing.

  7. Thank you. Various performance issues i've had with the game seem to be gone now, yay! Been playing the game mostly on my laptop and desktop, both running skylake i7 cpu and nVidia cards (980m + 1080). On both computers, ive experienced some gradual performance loss, meaning that when i first logged in the game ran just fine, but after a while, 15-30 minutes, the game would start slowing down in certain places. Only thing that helped was to adjust some gfx setting that caused a loading screen, refreshing the graphics engine. But again, after a while it would slow down again. now, after the latest patch this issue is gone! No more fiddling around with settings, the performance remains nice and smooth nomatter how long i play. Good job
  8. Ugh. The few lousy credits for all that hard work is nothing but a slap in the face. Wish i bartered the crystals too, instead holding onto them.
  9. The game engine is already rendering stuff slowly at times if you rush around with rocket boost etc, even if you have extremely fast rig. (i7 broadwell-e + gtx1080 + nvme ssd in my case)
  10. Running the game now on a laptop with gtx 980m. On 1080p resolution with maxed settings ingame/driverside (texture filterings disabled in driver, quality set to very high), im seeing about 1000-1500MB memory usage on average. Framerate depends a lot on the planet im on, and what sort of stuff there is on the screen, and wether im standing still or running around and fighting, it varies between 50-100 (game config caps it at 100). GPU usage can peak at 100% quite easily, so *YES*, the game does need a strong graphics department too.
  11. Might want to wait for black friday sales (25.11). Seen some previus generation Asus ROG laptops (like the one i have, G752VY) already for sale past couple months, maybe therell be a bigger discount now on friday. a "non-gaming dedicated" laptops usually get quite hot and especially loud while gaming, but nothing a pair of headphones wont fix
  12. i'm running i7-6700 + gtx 970, 1080p all settings maxed, and getting fps drops to about 40-45 when theres more action on the screen. So it would seem that one needs pretty high-end system to maintain steady 60. If that is even possible, since the problem is more likely somewhere else, besides raw cpu/gpu power.
  13. Just did this. First killed the mobs with doc as companion. the speccy ops dudes held aggro, i spammed dps on the bosses backside. He remained red all the way till the very, very end. he was one hit from dead and i saw him turn grey just as he died. First i thought that its scripted to be un-lootable, but someone here says that he can be looted. So was i just one split second too slow? Perhaps. would love to know what he drops tho? 500 credits and some poor green mod? propably.
  14. While the windowed fullscreen mode fixes the priblem, it seems to need more power from the GFX card. Did a quick test. Left gpu-z running on the background, stood still on my spaceship first in windowed fullscreen mode. The gfx load was 84-85%. then switched to normal fullscreen, and the load dropped to 75%. And the settings remained the same. all maxed with v-sync on. no problems there. But .. the graphical scene aboard the spaceship is pretty easy load. Or it oughta be.. the engine seems quite a bit heavier post 1.4. Pre 1.4 i did not notice such high loads when playing.
  15. i'm still getting it. Not as bad as it was, but its still there. when i run and move, while nameplates are enabled, it goes jerky / stuttery / whatever.
