  1. Most likely they're using an old trick of putting ALT Code characters to bypass the naming rules. So, if you hold down the ALT key on your keyboard and type the number 0232 you get this character: è Which means people can pull stuff like naming themselves Fètt, or Skýwalker or Sölö. The system that catches names like "Fett" won't be looking for "Fètt," so they get by with it until someone reports them. Edit: Almost forgot my favorite. You can put a space into a name using ALT-255. It's a different character from the normal spacebar, so it slips through most of these systems. I do not recommend using any of these. Violating the naming rules can get you banned!
  2. Basically, it breaks down like this: Subscriber - Obviously, paying a subscription for the game. Preferred - Anyone who previously subscribed OR anyone who spends at least $4.99 USD for Cartel Coins, the Digital Upgrade pack, or the Physical Security Key. Once you have a Preferred account, it stays that way unless you choose to Subscribe again. If you do, you'll drop back to Preferred status when the subscription runs out. Free - People who haven't given EA/Bioware a dime. Really, it's worth it to at least buy one set of Cartel Coins to get up to Preferred status.
  3. Yeah, I just came back (haven't played since the beta) and rolled a BH. After getting all the way to level 10, I couldn't stand how goofy the type 3 body looked. So I deleted him and rerolled. At that point, it's not that much of an investment in the character, so I'm not terrbly upset.
