  1. Well that's just class/skill/gear difference, no amount of situational awareness will save you there, all I'm saying is if two equal teams meet the team with the most situational awareness and willingness to go for the objective will win rather than the ones that want to rack up damage and kills.
  2. Another important thing to consider is "when to cc, when not to cc and where to cc". Far too many time do I see the ball carrier in huttball with white bar and I'm powerless to do anything cept watch him walk to the goal line. Trying to take the door in voidstar or node in civil war or novare coast? Not a trace of cc, just people standing there doing nothing...
  3. Some people think that highest damage or highest healing is the key to winning a warzone, to pick an example I was on my assassin in a rated group and we got huttball. We won the match but they kicked me after the game because I only did 69k damage, I'm guessing they forgot that they told me to be on offense and that I also scored 4 goals but whatever... The most important trait in a warzone to me is "situational awareness", you can do the highest damage in a warzone but if you lose because you didn't see a movement switch coming it's not gonna count for squat. For example we were fighting civil war and winning by holding snow and grass, the other team was hitting snow hard so everyone on my team was there cept for one defender at grass. As we kill the enemies off I notice they're not coming back so unlike the rest of my team that was trying to kill a guard and a healer I took off to grass and yes, they were moving on to attack that while the tank and healer was keeping my team busy. A tank and a healer is not a threat, you don't have to all be there to kill them, when the situation is under control, move on because you know the enemie is going to. Situational awareness can apply to all the warzones, knowing where go for a pass in huttball to knowing who the next pass is going to go to. Knowing when they might have a stealther on their team in Voidstar and keep an eye on how many enemies is attacking each door. Knowing when to go for the least guarded node in Civil War or Novare Coast and so on. So what trait do you think is the most important?
  4. 1) 2 healers, none which was in my pocket because they were too busy healing themselves and the team but I guarded them against 3 vanguards that were on their nuts, than and used my taunts whenever they were up 2) half augs are 18str/12end and other half 18end/12pow 3) it was a pretty long civil war wz where we fought for the middle node half the match
  5. Had this happen in a Novare Coast, time stod still at 0, no score board, we continued killing eachother... it was a good day.
  6. Why spend money on buying a razer naga, keyboard with G-keys or even pedals for your feet when you can roll a pyrotech and only need a 3-button mouse to be top of the score board?
  7. I got WH tank gear cept 4 peices Vindicator for bonus, hybrid spec and I pull 400k protection and 200-250k damage. Tank gear is underrated.
  8. No reason to ban, are other forms of punishment, if they cheat in wz: reset Valor to 0 and replace all their gear with recruit gear.
  9. I can protect for 400k and still dish out 200-250k damage as hybrid in pvp, and I use something simular like this.
  10. Because fighting a pyrotech and watching their 5k rail shot go *miss* brings a lol to my face.
  11. I've had tons of epic moments but one that come time mind happened a couple of weeks ago. The score was even, 2-2, and time was running out. My team was all dps, brawling our way to the ball carrier, the other team had a tank and healer so it looked like they were going to win by holding on the ball in their pit.... One after one my team mates die so I tell them "Ok I got a plan but you got to trust me on this one, intentionally die then go to our pit, one of you stand ready at the ball spawn" and they all did. The clock showed 26 seconds left... I ran to the ramps above the ball carrier, you see they made a fatal flaw while defending their ball carrier, they stood in the open and not under the ramps... When the fire pit started flaming up I pulled the ball carrier to the pits and stunned him, their powertech was fast to respond and pulled me down to them as the ball landed in my care. They stunned me and pounded away at me as the clock ticked away... I just barely had time to hit my shields as I landed among them, powerless to do anything as I saw my health going down, I thought for sure that they'd kill me and get the ball but by a twist of fate I came out of stun for a split second before I died, long enough for me to punt the ball and for my team mates to pick it up and run to our pit, the clock showed 4 seconds left, all enemies were in the opposit pit, victory was ours!
  12. What I do is I have helmet, gloves, leggins and boots in vindicator to get the intercede=selfheal, rest is tank gear. Use a hybrid Im/Ve build where you can do damage when needed and tank when needed. Obviously you're not going to do damage like the big dps boys but you can hold your own.
  13. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#101RrhbzZfMrRMhdkMZ0M.2 Build I roll with together with mixed dps/tank gear. Survivability is awesome and I can dish out enough dps when needed.
