  1. I think it should only be doable after you've completed your main quest since it would necessitate basically re writing everything. It should also be a major pain to do so that people don't do it constantly. Something like the City of Heroes/Villains system maybe. The problem with it is I'm not sure if it should cause you to change to the mirror class. Basically for force users, it makes no sense NOT to since they're basically the same only evil and use evil force powers. But for regular classes it doesn't make sense TO change because their fighting styles and general themes are totally opposite. And it's not fair to have it work one way for some classes and another way for others...
  2. The datacrons are a great addition and I don't mind doing them. I just don't want to do them AGAIN. I think what I would do is make it so one of the legacy systems rewards is to make datachrons cover all your alts.
  3. I would at least like to be able to transfer items I crafted myself.
  4. Something needs to be done about this. 1) You could have the armor weight come from the armoring item installed, 2) You could have "costume" class items automatically count as your best possible armor, 3) You could make medium and heavy versions of the same items, 4) You could make a costume slot for these to go into that overrides the appearance of whatever you're wearing. 5) You could get rid of armor weight altogether and just make a passive defense buff for the heavy armor classes to reflect the weight of their armor. It wouldn't negatively impact itemization at all because each class has a different main stat anyway. But above all just do SOMETHING it's seriously not fair that Consulars and Inquisitors have all these cool sets to choose from which are useless to the rest of us.
  5. I got a flirt option on my female bounty hunter before leaving hutta but it didn't really go anywhere. Supposedly there's an option to sleep with somebody really early in the female Agent story too. Also at one flashpoint... I wanna say it was like Taral V...? One of the members of my party mentioned it gave them the option to lesbian flirt with Satele but they win the roll and I was playing a dude at the time. But yeah I kinda wanted to play as a female character who flirts with everyone but the option just isn't there 99.9% of the time.
  6. Maybe it's because I didn't play swg back before the combat upgrade ate all the pies but I don't see anything particularly lacking with Tattooine. Honestly it's tied with Hoth for being my favorite planet. Lots of rolling hills and dunes to zoom over on the speeder, no irritating mazes like Taris or Corellia.
  7. But that's the problem. There's plenty of content. There are like 12 flashpoint hard modes that would be enough to keep me happy as a clam for months. The PROBLEM is that the lack of a key feature, a flashpoint finder, is keeping me from being able to actually DO any of that content. Compounding the problem is the unreleased Legacy feature which makes me not want to level any alts because I don't know if next month I'm going to find out that legacy would have either made it a lot easier, or unlocked some cool thing I'm going to have to reroll to get anyway. The game HAS content. The problem is features.
  8. Okay: 1) This debate is far beyond mere pointless and well into the realm of inane. Bioware has already stated that they're GOING to allow add ons eventually, and when they do, there's no way for a gearscore-like add on to be prevented. This is gonna happen so you'd best come to peace with it. 2) Gearscore keeps me from getting into raids that I legitimately can't handle. As much as Skill =/= Gear, you DO have to have the raw numbers to handle most fights or no matter how skilled you may be, you WILL die. I've always felt that the gearscore haters just want to be dragged along for a free ride in raids they KNOW they can't contribute to. If you're THAT skilled that you can seriously do enough dps in ICC to contribute even though you're wearing quest greens, then it should be CHILDS PLAY for you to zip through Naxx and Ulduar a few times, and then your DPS will be EVEN BETTER.
  9. All I have to say on the subject is this: I quit WoW because it had turned into "World of Looking For Tanks And Healers" for me. I was literally spending all of my time in Dal spamming for people to come run heroics with me. Then my friend told me about the dungeon finder and I came back. The game became playable again. Suddenly I could do heroics until my eyes bled if I felt like it. Sure there were the occasional tards (I swear there is something VERY WRONG with the boulderfist server). But the percentages didn't seem appreciably worse than when I was running them the old fashioned way. And if I DID get a bad group it didn't ruin my day because I could just votekick or leave and it would be a reasonable delay before I was back in the action instead of back to spamming for a tank for hours on end. The only negative of the dungeon finder was occasionally randoming into a dungeon that I couldn't find the door to. But then they fixed that by making it so you had to actually DISCOVER dungeons first in Cata. Now, I didn't notice a lot of ninja behavior from this but, to be fair, that may have been because by this time we were all pretty much spamming heroics for emblems and didn't really care about the gear anyway. I have no idea what effect it would have while the gear actually matters. But since we have an emblem system in play here too, I don't foresee a big issue.
  10. No, see, the point is that the Trooper and Agent aren't supposed to be cool. Or, more accurately, they're supposed to be "cool" as in calm, composed, and in control. If you want to be flashy and extreme super special awesome 2 the maxx, there are classes for that: the bounty hunter and the smuggler. If you want to be a calm subtle professional who just gets things done, that's what the Trooper and Agent are for. If this bothers you, then you may have just discovered that the Trooper class is not for you. Seriously. Roll a smuggler. You get awesome animations, you get laid on like every planet, and your dialog is consistently funnier than the trooper.
  11. It does irritate me when the thing printed on the wheel does not accurately represent the thing my character will say when I click on it. That said, expecting people in this to talk like real people is a little silly. This is Star Wars, the original space melodrama. Join me, and I will complete your training! We will rule the galaxy as father and son! This is not a property for subtlety.
  12. That would be kind of an unfair advantage for people with smart phones. So if they do make that app, they should get some money from HTC because it'll be what finally makes me get a droid. That or sell another little keychain fob for it .
  13. Because he's a protocol droid, protocol droids being prissy metrosexuals is kind of required.
  14. So wait, are you saying you want them to ignore the bugs while they create new content instead?
