This season we are creating a community-driven League for group ranked on Jung Ma! **DELAYED UNTIL THE START OF S7 ANNOUNCEMENTS** FORMAT: Every week during the season there will be scheduled games between the participant teams in a B03 format* over the course of several weeks. At the end of the season, qualifying teams will proceed to a playoff where they will battle against each other to be crowned the best ranked team on Jung Ma. All playoff games will be played in a B05 format*. The top teams will receive their share of a credit prize pool. *B03 is best of three (first to win two games) *B05 is best of five (first to win three games) ENTRY: To enter this event you may either: Post your team on this thread Enter your team on our group ranked forums Mail me in-game on Zohan The deadline to enter this League is November 24th. The entry fee for this League is set at 2 million credits per team due by the first scheduled game. *Individual guilds may have multiple teams. RULES: In order to ensure the integrity of our League we will continue to augment our rules to better create a competitive atmosphere for all participants. TEAM ROSTERS All team rosters are limited to 10 Characters*. In the instance that a team wishes to replace a member after the League has begun, it may do so by submitting a replacement request on this thread. The fee of replacing a member during the season is 500,000 credits and the change will be implemented one week from the date of the replacement request. *All fees will be added to the prize pool *10 characters refers to ten individual in-game characters, not accounts. SCHEDULING CORRECTIONS A week prior to the first week of games, we will introduce a poll for all participant teams to decide a schedule for our League that will best meet the needs of the majority of teams. However, in the instance that a team is unable to play on a scheduled date they may contact the team they were set to play that week and attempt to reschedule. All reschedules must be submitted on this thread 48 hours before the scheduled match was set to be played; failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of that specific match. Reschedules must also be set before the games in the next week. If it is not possible to reach a mutual date and time for that week, the game will be pushed to the end of the season whereas failure to be available for that time will also result in forfeiture of that specific match. SUBMITTING RESULTS A screenshot of the final results for each match of the B03 or B05 must be posted to this thread within 48 hours of the match completion. BANNED COMPOSITIONS Throughout the season there may be balancing conflicts. In order to maintain the integrity of our League we may ban certain team compositions. However, careful consideration will be taken from a panel of all of the teams' leaders to decipher if a comp itself is unfair. *Individual classes and specs WILL NOT be banned. *Compositions like triple Powertech will be taken into consideration. *Any team subject to composition issues will be allotted a free roster replacement request. *Any teams that continue to abuse banned compositions will be warned with a single game forfeiture (set to 0-1 in their current B03) continuing to use a banned composition will result in forfeiture of a specific match. *All banned compositions will be posted a week prior to the next set of games. MATCH DISRUPTION In the instance that a group decides to sabotage a certain match: 1.) If it is a random team queuing into a scheduled match between two participant teams the teams may: a.) Continue to queue as normal, farming the random group when matched against them and continuing as normal when matched with their opponents for that week. b.) Each team leader may /roll for the right to farm the random group. c.) Reschedule 2.) If it is a participant team knowingly disrupting a scheduled match they will be given one warning with no penalty. The second disruption is subject to forfeiture of their next match. The third disruption is subject to removal from the League via a vote of the team leaders. I'm going to make a case for Jung Ma to be the Solo and Group Ranked destination for East Coast players. Yes, we have a small population compared to some of the other servers on the East Coast. However, we are a much more active server in terms of Ranked play than The Shadowlands. I know this because I have a character on The Shadowlands and I have sat and made announcements in general chat on Shadowlands to queue for Ranked, but despite having two instances of Fleet no one ever wants to queue for ranked there. On Jung Ma, we get more Ranked queues going than Shadowlands as is and we generally only have 60-70 people on Fleet at high times. The Ebon Hawk could also be a potential place to do Ranked, but only if you are a Republic player. The Republic dominate Ebon Hawk moreso than any other server. So yes, Jung Ma is a small server in terms of population - but the players we do have are very active in Ranked. We are also creating a Ranked Team League and season for all of the Ranked teams on Jung Ma for Season 7. If Ranked is something that is important to you, and you can live with a low population server, Jung Ma is a great server to consider.

Sounds great, I believe that Sanctuary, Systems Commonwealth, and Acoy are both great guilds that could put together good teams. I'm sure there are even more that I'm not aware of.
