  1. I have had quite the journey to land on powertech, game released and my guild went Republic. I rolled a smuggler and went scoundrel. Got to around 20, didn't really like it, so I re-rolled as a gunslinger. I got him to 30. To let other members catch up I made a trooper vanguard just to mess around, and I really really liked it. The guild decided to re-roll to Empire side (most wanted that in the first place, but guild leader is a goody-goody player XD but I finally broke him down). When we switched over, I decided to make an agent operative, since I loved everything about the agent. I got him to around 20 like the scoundrel, and though I liked it more the guild had no tanks, and I wanted a change from healing in MMO's. I finally rolled my BH powertech and from the first time I rocket punched someone I was hooked. Most of my abilities are still satisfying even now that I have done them a 100+ times. On a side note, having one pistol for close quarters fighting feels a lot better than using a rifle for the same.
  2. And here is a pro-tip for you my friend: It's going to happen regardless, hence why most of gaming in general's quality has been headed down hill. The other thing is, not everyone who is enjoying the game is purely a fanboy.
  3. I will be keeping it. I am still having a good time. This is most likely due to expecting most of what people are saying are their "issues" with the game. I fully expected a game more towards a single player with other people, and got just that. I fully expected the PVP to be...well laughable, but fun here and there (In my opinion MMORPG PVP will always be on the joke side, which has nothing to do with fun, but to be taken serious there would need to be a whole new system). I have yet to have any issues with hardware, running the game at max avg 60 FPS. I have rolled many characters, trying to decide what to play, enjoying the story and all that. I even bought the Collectors edition and am glad I did. Sure, this game has it's issues, and bugs, and all that but I've been playing MMORPG's long enough to be able to cope until they are fixed or they finally get to me, crazy I know but sometimes I even laugh when they happen. What really matters is that, I am having fun.

  5. What hardware are we talking here? I'm seriously just asking since most seem to take offense to most everything said on these forums. I mostly posted since I have seen someone post close to the exact same specs as mine in another thread and speak of issues. I am aware about the different configurations being less likely to have issues, and I am also aware that my system isn't that brand new.
  6. I5-2500k GTX 570 16 GB Ram All settings maxed at 1920x1280 60 average FPS everywhere. I don't mean to speak down to anyone who is having issues with the game, if you are, that sucks and I am sorry. I just don't understand it though. My old system which I gave to my friend with an intel dual core CPU and a 9800 GT is playing the game with shadows turned off and it runs fine. It drops to around 40 here and there sure, but that's an old system at this point and to be expected from that. I just don't understand what I may be doing differently that others are not, or vice versa. Since launch I have never experienced anything even remotely close to "stuttering, running badly, lag" ect.
  7. Runs at 60+ most all of the time, very rarely it will drop down a few frames, but only if A TON of stuff is going on, and by drop down, you might see an inkling of a skip CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (OC'd to 4.4) GPU: EVGA SuperClocked 012-P3-1573-AR GeForce GTX 570 HD (OC'd to 580 specs) RAM: 16 GB G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 MB: ASRock Z68 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 I run the game at 1900x1200 at Max settings, with the .ini file edited to max as well It is a custom built system
  8. I spent $1200 on mine, and I have yet to have an issue or slow down with the game, all maxed, with the .ini tweaked to get even more out of it
  9. I have come to the conclusion that the players of this game, at this point, are just going out of their way to find things to complain about. It''s as if there is some secret competition going on where whoever finds the most things that haven''t been complained about yet, and in fact complains about them, wins. This of course means that I am not in the competition, since complaining about complaining has been done many times already
  10. You could always wait. You are not the only one concerned with imbalance, and there are people out there who will roll republic to avoid the crowd/teenagers/whatever way you want to say it. The thing is, in WoW, alliance did at one time outweigh the Horde...but it has not been this way for a long time now. It is actually the reverse on most servers, or closer to an even now that time has passed. (anyone who still thinks alliance outweighs the horde needs to go to Blizzcon one year..sure that's not the entire population at all, but out of the 27,000 attendees in 2010..you barely saw any actual alliance players as opposed to all the "FOR THE HORDE!" calls and shirts, and hoodies, and talk about how "allaince sucks"). In the end, it's going to take time, there is nothing you can do about imbalance in a 2 faction game at launch, unless both sides were almost exactly the same. To be honest, Empire outweighing Republic is something you had to see coming. One side allows you to be a sith, and it also has bounty hunters...
  11. No matter what, problems with the laser itself aside, the one HUGE problem when trying to even conceive a real light saber, is making the laser itself stop.
  12. The announcer is the best part of Gokaiger IMO, I mean it's a great sentai series and all, but he just makes my day. BIIIOOOMAANNNN
