Indeed. It's upsetting how the community looks in these forums right now.

Because they don't know what the influx of players at peak hours will be yet. If they send out too many invites, they run the risk of the servers crashing when everyone gets off work and rushes home to play.

Not all of the people they sent invites to are even on yet. They are waiting on peak hours (when people get off work) to see where they sit with server stability. They are going about it safely.
