  1. *** is going on ?!? ''get details on the forum''... well there's nothing...
  2. ''who needs a goddamn online game ?'' if you want to be forever alone and do your **** by yourself... BUY MASS EFFECT NOT SWTOR.
  3. SWTOR is doing something extremely wrong that almost every *********** MMOs in the market does : numbered tier gear, set items that everybody have because they're the best and somehow pretty easy to get. I'm not saying this is all bad, there's a lot of positive points in tier/set items. however, we can all agree that it gives no personnality to your character, because everybody weared, wear and will wear this piece of equipment. here what can be done to avoid it. ''Match colour to chest'', which was part of the beta, will finally come back in 1.2. this is a good step in the right direction. but it needs more. there should be : * ''Match colour to Chest'', ''Match colour to head'' and ''Match colour to legs''. which are all three the most important items in term of character design. if your chest has a colour you don't like, you can change it, making it match with another colour, example your leggings. There should be a dying system for the chest, legs and the head. and finally, a costume system for head, chest and legs so you can take old pieces of equipment you like, and give their look to your actual gear, making you look different than everybody. and that's it. adding those little details to the game would actually change how everybody looks, making it more interresting.
  4. A taunt is a battle cry, a method in hand-to-hand combat, sarcastic remark, gesture, or insult intended to demoralize the recipient, or to anger them and encourage reactionary behaviors without thinking (WIKIPEDIA). Whatever the game you're playing, this is exactly what the tank must do Mobs are living, moving game entities. Generally, mobs are affected by the environment in the same ways as the player (MINECRAFTWIKI)
  5. This game ain't FFXIV. If you want Macros, play one of these Ubber Crap Japanese MMO (disclosure : Japanese MMOs ARE crap, Korean ones are fine if you like grinding.) on your playstay**** if you want some of them.
  6. now that I know that 1.2 won't bring anything like this, I should up this thread to remind everypony that Martyrdom would be awesome in SWTOR.
  7. problem is an Alterac Valley kind of game would be barely playable in this game because of the medal system, that makes everypony extremely selfish Scorewise. peeps that want the job dine has to sacrifice their medals to do strategic things, while others just don't give a damn and farm ennemies, forgetting about any kind of objectives...
  8. I mean... from what we can see this looks like another strategy thingy with objectives that nobody cares... I considered that PvP in SWTOR, because of medals, was all about killing other people and getting killed pointless, so I wondered when these kind of game modes will arrive : * Martyrdom * (team) Deathmatch or simply objectives that modify themselves not by activating/clicking on them, but by simply being there.. like in Star Wars Battlefront... oh and, is it ''neutral'', I mean can same factions fight on it ? Would be pretty goddamn useful in our server...
  9. I remember these good ol' Days... this medal system kills strategy for the sake of farming however I do not really remember a single day where Arenas were popular...
  10. I don't like Arenas because I find them boring. Seriously. I prefer over-the-top 8vs8 skirmishes with respawn and applicable strategies, there's a chance of our luck come back even if we're losing since the beggining, it's just more exciting. I don't not want them to introduce Arenas or [insertanamethatwouldmeanarenahere] not because I dislikethem, but just because it's a waste of time considering the majority thinks like me.
  11. it's because you're part of the silent majority too busy playing the game. don't you see the Unsilent Minority is on a Holy Crusade in the Forums, on Metacritic and everywhere else to make their POV the ultimate truth ?!?
  12. This is themepark on extreme conditions. if you're looking for your character to be an in-game yourself this game may not be for you, even though you can modify your appearance, ''choices'' creates your character's Point of view which is not yours. you're right this genre is kind of like watching TV. you can like it or not. this is not whining or insulting the game, this is just your personnal taste. the least you can do if you enjoy the game is to Spacebar everything...
  13. ''no rollback'' ''No rollback'' as far as I'm concerned bad/poor game design cannot be considered as cheating, therefore whatever the strategy some peoples found to boost their valor today, it's totally legitimate. unfair but legitimate. BTW by that ''Swarming'' technique I've only done less than a level so it's not like I was here to defend an overabusive amount of crap I've got.
