  1. Bad news, we don't get a kockback at all.... Best advise I can give from my time in PvP is to take extra care in your positioning, so when you do get that kockback you dont go into the pit or fall off the ramps..... try and keep you force jump for the times you can't position yourself then if you time it right you can just hit jump mid-air and get back to them. If anyone else has any better ideas I'd love to read em too
  2. I had a few quests left over from previous planets that I couldn't cancel and last night I decided to go and clear them, 3 planets, 6 quests and 2 hours later I was done, and you know what, I had fun re-visiting the "old" planets. I agree it would be good if we could cancel any quest, but I understand why it is this way at the moment, and I don't mind to be honest. /salute
  3. just a question for anyone who can answer it. Jaesa Willsaam, is she Dark Side or Light Side romancible?.... i know "romanciable" isn't a real word, but I'm sure you get the meaning I see the OP chat shows she is only DS romanciable, but another link in this thread says she is LS? I hope she is DS romancable..... Thanks
  4. I'm playing TOR on a late 2011 iMac with Windows 7 Prof (through bootcamp ofc) and I use Wifi.... no issues here, everything up to full.... and even bloom on, still get 50fps and no lag at all caused by Wifi. I do get a bit of lag in WZ, but my fps only drops to 30's. /salute
  5. where's the AIM-Saber love gone.... I was smiling while reading back in the early pages how someone was calling someone else a bad person when they admitted they would roll need on an AIM-Saber..... People should consider stuff before posting.... i think we should have a new thread just for AIM-Saber's to discussed, that was funny I too would roll need on an aim-saber..... i'm Merc but I don't use aim, hmmm, wonder which saber user needs it .... hehhe
  6. If you want to charge people then go ahead.... we all play how we want. Personally I would never charge for my services on any toon, why should others pay me just so I can do what my character was created for?!? I would never pay anyone either, if they don't want to do said flashpoint/operation then fine, i'm not going to bribe them. unless you want to be purchased by someone for an hour or so of your time......
  7. ace idea, love it. Would give a great extra to all who wanted it and more PvP options too. +1 from me
  8. I'd play SWTOR more if I didn't have to reboot into Windows. I loose too much going into windows.... Music, website links etc etc, yeah, its possible to have everything on the windows partition too, but I dont want to have to maintain 2 OS's. I only bootcamped my iMac with windows to play this game, which I'm happy to do, but a mac client will always get my vote /sign for a native mac client.
  9. I'm on my third run through the first 4 planets and I too have stopped doing most of the side quests. I do the daily Pvp and space missions as I like them all I logout in a rest zone I do some side quests, the ones I know are fast to do and either on the way to my next class quest or at the same place. I know I'm down some loot and credits due to this, but I've not had any credit issues yet so thats fine. I do think more will be doing this over time so they don't have to do all the same quests over and over. /salute
  10. I liked the OP viewpoint, I agree with most of it too. Nice job my friend. and to all the forum trolls, really?? complaining because someone took the time to try and format a long post in a way THEY thought it would be easy to read...... <sigh>
  11. I'm not bored, I'm loving the game. Love the crafting, love the questing, love the space combat (room for expansions yeah, but loving what we have so far). All in all its a great starting point for SWTOR i believe.
  12. I've been visiting the forums for many months now and thought I would post a nice topic just to say thank you to BW and EA for their time and investment in what I think is a great game. There are many posts on these forums saying how bad the game is, well, i don't think it is bad, i think it is great Space combat is fun (and has room for expansion). Class quests are fun and involving side quests also add more to the story and expand our understanding of the planet and general galaxy. Crafting is great to, being able to send people off to do stuff adds another dimention to MMO's that I have not experienced before. Thats all I wanted to say really, thanks to BW and EA on a great release of a great game that I think will be a success for years to come. /salute
