  1. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. But when I switch combat styles. For example my main was an operative and I picked Vanguard. My Operative is fully dressed in 306 armor. When I switch to vanguard and then back to operative it strips off his armor and puts it in the inventory. Is there a way to lock the armor so I don't need to keep redressing when I change his style.
  2. Did seem to work once it went back through the download. No more quick play. So thanks!
  3. Hi, I followed those steps and when I went to login it pretty much started reloading the game, is that normal?
  4. So I did the bitraider disable got into the game, ran the first mission with cut scenes, worked perfectly fine graphically. But after I completed the mission, when the reward dialogue box came up the game crashed again. At least I got to play the first mission and see how the game ran graphically.
  5. I've run the game over the last 8 years at high settings with no problem. When I got this new box, I ran the game settings at high detail etc and no problems. This all started happening with onslaught
  6. Thanks, I'm going to be honest, I'm not going to start spending more money on this game, I set the graphic settings to minimum and it still crashed out in the loading screen. The frustration is that this game ran excellently before Onslaught. If they were going to change graphic requirements then post it or tell it. I can't believe that my machine that is less then 3 months old new out of a box with all up to date drivers can't run a game based on a 8 year old engine. This is really the only game I play anymore. I haven't heard a peep out of CS. I don't know if uninstalling and re-installing is going to make a difference to me. but thanks for the advice I do appreciate it.
  7. Thanks for this, I lowered al the setting to minimum, crashed in the loading screen.
  8. Thanks for all of the feedback and advice. I can't check the older computer, i disposed of it. All the drivers are up to date. I can do an entire re-install, will it make a difference? I don't know, I guess I can try it on the weekend. This is royally painful, if they were making a change that effects compatibility a heads up would be nice. Having support go radio silent is unacceptable.
  9. I don't really want to get into arguments here. 1) Its a computer that is about 2 1/2 months old. Its clean and secure 2) It ran SWTOR flawlessly until last Tuesday when Onslaught uploaded. 3) It is a common computer configuration including an Intel 630 graphic chip set. 4) There have been more then me on this board with this issue.
  10. um there are more then me having this problem, I mentioned that in my notes above, I've seen multiple complaints about this issue. If it was just me fine. I also don't buy it, up until Onslaught I had no issues running this game at all. This is also a pretty new computer that has run the game fine for several months.
  11. Dear guys and gals. I honestly thought I'd write this because I'm now beyond frustrated with this game and specifically Onslaught. I know I've posted other threats on this in the bug thread and gotten absolutely no feedback. So I want to go back to the beginning here. I've been a subscriber since 2011. I've faithfully paid my quarterly subscription, which would probably amount now to what $1600.00 or somewhere like that. If my math is wrong, sue me. I've played this game faithfully since game one, and enjoyed the experience. I was really looking forward to more content. so last Tuesday I was excited when I loaded the path. Went in and selected one of my primary characters a bounty hunter and started his new adventure. I got to Onderon, and headed for Darth Savik and the game crashed out. I loaded another character same thing. I loaded a character who was at the Makeb expansion, went to my star ship mission panel, clicked it and the game crashed. I tried to restart it load it up and load a character and the game crashed. Up until this point in time this game had been stable for 8 years since the start. I bought a new computer with a Intel 630 chip set, the game worked fine. Now I loaded onslaught and the game doesn't work. No big deal, Bioware won't let me down, I'll go to support. I got into the game and issued a ticket. I got a reply back, that the support person, had played my main past Savik, ok, not what I really wanted but fine. I went in, loaded my character clicked on the mission profile on my character and crash. Went back to the support person, Narendra asked me to delete my bit raider files and the config file, I did that went into the game and crash. I went back to support, it took Narendra a day to get back with a its fine on my computer. I nearly snapped, I don't care about your computer, I care about my computer. I bit my lip, hard. Sent Narendra screen shots of the crash screens. Support came back, hey run the launchdiag application and send us the files. This was on Friday or Saturday. I did that. I heard nothing back for 4 days. But I had hope didn't I, Bioware would take care of the issue with their patch. I would be able to play the game again because of the smart developers at Bioware. loaded the patch, that was fine, logged in, clicked on my character and the loading screen started. My hopes were up and then they were dashed . . . . CRASH. I reached out to Narendra asking for an update. I had also asked yesterday and heard nothing back. I sent screen shots today. Tagged a read receipt request, got that back, but nothing from the person itself. So I assume that Customer Support has a policy that if they have no clue, that they should just ignore it? That maybe if they ignore it the customer will just accept a game they can't play? Its now a week since I reported this issue, I've posted in the bug thread and nothing, I've sent multiple requests for help from Support (You know that name should have meaning) and at was given a solution that's not a solution, then given solutions that did nothing, and then it feels like ignored. Right now, I'm really frustrated with the whole thing and the sad thing is I'm still pretty much paying money for a non functional game at this point. Bioware, my subscription is up in two weeks, I know I'm a small part of a big pie in terms of revenue. But do you just want me and the others with the same problem, and I know there are others, I've seen them in this forum, to go away? I have to say, that in my job, if I just decided to start ignoring a customer, I'd pretty much be fired. I'd like to hear back from someone, I asked Narendra (and I really hope I'm spelling that name right) what my escalation options were, and nothing. I want to emphasize that I stayed polite with your Service person, and didn't act angry or abusive or drop the F-bombs that I so richly wanted to drop. Tell me what to do Bioware? Is it time to give up Sincerely extremely frustrated with a non functional game.
  12. Darth Savik just kills my game when I talk to him. I wish I could kill him.
