  1. There are two companions I really dislike: Ashara. I have tried to be nice to her and all she does is whine about how corrupt everything is. In one conversation she yelled at me because some Sith somewhere else did something bad. Seriously, Ashara? If I baked her a batch of her favorite cookies she'd probably yell at me for being an evil Sith carb temptress and throw them in my face. Scorpio. Why would anyone let that ultraviolent maniac on their ship unless they, too, were an ultraviolent maniac? She pretty much threatened to kill me in our first conversation on the ship. I'm pretty sure I'm done using her, so why can't I just send her back to Belsavis? She's probably going to turn 2V into a killbot behind my back!
  2. Hey, I'm not saying I wouldn't romance him if he was older...wouldn't bother me. He's my favorite companion character, he's just so funny! He'd get along so well with my socially awkward light-side inquisitor.
  3. AS HE DESERVES, THAT JERK! [insert foreveralone.jpg]
  4. You guys really think Talos is that old? I'd put him mid-30s, but maybe that's wishful thinking so that my inquisitor can romance him one day. *sigh* Or it may be because he's so body-type-1 tiny, it makes him look...boyish, I guess. Also I could totally see Corso as a 19 year-old because of his proposal, not in spite of it. That's just the sort of thing love-struck 19 year-olds do (not to besmirch the reputation of love-struck teens, of-course). Then again, I haven't seen the whole romance unfold yet.
  5. Oh Crezelle, I just love seeing you in a threat because I know it's going to be about your love for Vector! And you know what? I finished the Vector romance recently and it is adorable!
  6. Interestingly enough I had this very conversation with some friends this past weekend. I was curious as to which species could successfully produce offspring with humans. One of my friends posited an interesting theory: species that can more or less be represented by "painted humans" (Chiss, Zabrak, Mirialan, etc.) can reproduce with humans, while species that would have to be represented in the movies via puppets or CGI cannot. I don't know if this matches up with the lore exactly, but it seems logical to me. Chiss and Zabrak are so remarkably structurally similar to humans anyway that, barring incompatible sexual organs, it seems highly unlikely that they would be unable to reproduce. I also like this theory because it allows my Zabrak to have Vector's babies. I bet they're just adorable. <3
  7. I really don't see a reason why you can't romance Xalek. After all, lady troopers only have one option and it's a cat man. I've heard nothing but good things from the players who've romanced him, but no thanks. Maybe it's because I'm a cat owner. Then again, I'm terrified of insects and I think the Vector romance is sweet. Not sure where I was going with this post, but yeah, I support strange cross-species romance options.
  8. Some of you seem to be missing the point. Equality is about us all having the same opportunities. And if we don't all have the same opportunities to objectify our companions, regardless of gender, then that's not equal at all. In my opinion, male body type 4 looks incredibly stupid. Female body type 4 is, on the other hand, sexy as hell. A brick house, if you will. The disparity is a bit jarring, but I personally have no idea how one would go about fixing it without adding a Body Type 5 for both genders. I don't know if I would say the game is overtly sexist. Did Bioware make a conscious decision to say that women will not have something that men will have? I doubt it. They probably just overlooked their female market. And sadly, that is not uncommon. It's not even unexpected or surprising. But it is frustrating.
  9. Well...maybe not with you. (I kid, I kid)
  10. Oh wow, that's awesome! Finally some incentive to play my marauder. I always feel like I'm sexually harassing Quinn when I flirt with him, it's a bit squicky. Maybe they'll add more romance content for Pierce!
  11. How do you not like Talos? He's just precious, despite being a courting gift hoarder. Perhaps because he hoards courting gifts.
  12. Well not with that attitude! I support your people's weird alien romance ideas and humbly request a Talos romance. Please, Bioware?
  13. Haven't read everyone's replies yet, but... I think the bare midriff tops are pretty stupid. That being said, I don't care if other people want to wear them--I'm glad I have other options. At least they aren't the only decent gear you can get for 20 levels (meaningful glance at the wardrobe fail that is Rift). My problem? WHAR SKIN-EXPOSING MALE ARMOR, BIOWARE? WHAR?! (****ty is censored? Seriously guys?) Not that I would use it (cough), but fair is fair. We're not equal until we're all naked and objectified, dancing drunk in the cantina. Now, back to see if someone else already posted what I just said
  14. Yeah, my dark side inquisitor tried to hit and and quit it, but Andronikos got all clingy and asked her to marry him. Even after she shut him down, he still brought up having kids and kept sending her love letters. Things are just so awkward on the ship right now.
  15. Wow, that's a much better reason than what I came up with for why he liked courting gifts...I assumed that either: A. He was just a cruel heartbreaker hiding behind the affable geek facade; B. He was a knife-crazy psychopath who had all those Hutt Affection Tokens and what-not in some weird shrine dedicated to my Inquisitor hidden on the ship, or; C. He was a hoarder. So your reasoning is...yes, much better.
