I can't remember the name of this specific quest on Alderan, but I'm playing a trooper and I need to sedate & neutralize a "joiner". I've found this joiner NPC, but I can't figure out how to sedate him. How do you do it?

I've been playing the free version for a while and just now decided to try a month subscription. Just a couple of questions I can't seem to figure out. How do you give gifts to your companion? How do you get a personal speeder? Is there a way to get a personal shield generator when playing a trooper? Thanks in advance!
