  1. I'm bringing this topic back to life, because I am immensely fascinated by Sith race and the way they are portrayed in this game and I'd like to discuss few things with willing participants. As far as Star Wars lore goes, sith normally have crimson red skin, which in some cases gets lighter with age. Their eyes are yellow. That is one of the points I'd like to discuss- the eye color choices and Dark Side Corruption effects on it. I personally prefer the dimmest skin color, because in my opinion it looks most realistic and as for the eyes, I love the dimmest orange ones, for same realism reasons. In customization, color sliders: Eyes- 1 Skin- 6 Hair - 4 As for the hair- I do not know anything about it from the lore, but I am using the dim red, because it fits with the other colors best to my taste. I actually love every one of the slider options, unlike in other races, but these options are the only ones I choose, because thinking long-term, I want my Sith to look more realistic, than cool. Share your opinions.
  2. As a lv46 shadow tank- full kinetic combat, I am failing miserably with all the companions and so far my best try was leaving him at ~15% health. edit: I've just learned how miserably bad I was at playing my character. I surfed the interwebs and that is what took me to realize that I have such incredible skills as Resilience and Force Wave, which can both be used even more effectively than the Mind Snap. And with all these 3 skills in play, I became a true Jedi.
  3. Thank you very much, for you coherent, constructive reply <3 All my questions are answered.
  4. Greetings. This is about the alignment gain, the choices which affect it and the painful dilemmas of how to play the game. To keep it short- I have a character who makes only 'Light' choices and a character who makes only 'Dark' choices. I intend to complete all 8 story-lines and I need advice on how should I play it out with these choices. The idea is to have a character with the visible chat alignment gain option disabled, for more immersive role playing experience. But first I'd like few questions out of the way. tl;dr What are the actual benefits of Light/Dark levels? Afaik, the relics end-game relics do not require either (how unfortunate) and to my experience, the only benefits of Light/Dark alignment are few 10-50lv items and the cosmetic features that the beloved 'Darkness' provides us with. Is there more to it? Would I be loosing anything by not focusing on one of the sides, intentionally?
  5. This is an amazing thread, with very thorough information on crew skills, their combinations and companion bonuses, in case anyone would need reference, in this discussion.
  6. Come to think of it, Togruta would be the toughest addition up do date. Because of their 'big head things'. Think about it. We'd expect at least 9 possible different options for the 'big head tail things' and every one and each of those would have to work with every possible clothing piece. That is so much work. So much. Yet, maybe out of my love for togruta appearances, these are the #1 species I'd like to play in this game.

  8. Hello. It has been a long time since the games release, now and I am certain that there are plenty of people who know everything there is to know about the game. So I turn to you. Introduction I first played the game shortly after it's release and after dropping it for a long time, came back several days ago to get immersed in it like never before. Coming back to it was a far more pleasing experience than even getting to play it for the very first time, because the game now is already familiar and seeing my old characters and some worlds, is like coming back home. Big part of role playing gaming experience to me, is planning ahead and thus- this topic. I may get tired of the game in few months and forget it for a long time again, making this thread and my upcoming help requests obsolete, but that is simply how I am. The stories are really enjoyable and I already have it planned, which races and sexes I'll play for every class. I intend to finish all the story lines and maybe even repeat them with different second classes, afterwards, if I was to play for so long. And thus, my questions to you, beloved, begin. Legacy Riches Considering that I intend to complete the story lines of every class, eventually, I'd like to figure out, which class would be most beneficial for me to complete first, regarding the long term application. I imagine this class to be the most effective in making me riches, for my new characters support, in their endeavors. So the two main sources of income in this game, are crafting and ops/flashps/alldatstuf. Which character will bring me riches? Is it a Cybertech Smuggler? As far as I am informed, Cybertech is the most lucrative business of all the crew skill combinations. And even though the differences here ain't that significant- the most effective Cybertech would be Smuggler, because of companion crew skill bonuses. I already have an Imperial Agent taking care of my cyber technologies, however, so I mention this just for the sake of it. Is it a mysterious Flashpoint Hero? Perhaps more riches would be brought to me by a murderous psychopath, raging through flashpoints, rather than lucrative business man. Who would such an individual be, in such case? My Legacy So far I have three active characters, which I definitely intend to keep, love, caress and smother very much. Let me introduce you to... The Flow Legacy Imehiel, known as Master Imehiel Human Jedi Shadow lv46 / Kinetic Combat tank /// Artifice - Archaeology - Treasure Hunting /// (crew skills already over 400) My first character and still the most played one Zhu'u Sith Pureblood Sorcerer lv20 / Lightning dps /// Synthweaving - Archaeology - Underworld Training /// (@100~) Ishiru, known as Agent Ishiru Cyborg Sniper lv19 / Engineering dps /// Cybertech - Scavenging - Underworld Training /// Bottom of the Rancor Pit I already have the remaining 5 classes planned- which races and crew skills to get, thus what I need now, is just some insight from the outside, to help me figure out which class should I max out first. Also, I'd like opinions, on which crew skill combinations I should go with, once I'll have one of each, in a far possible future. Opinions, on which 'pure profit' crew skill combinations are the best, in which cases, and why. My plans for every class Jedi Knight - Biochem Consular - Artifice Trooper - Armormech Smuggler - $$$ profit?? Slicing++ Sith Warrior - Armstech Inquisitor - Synthweaving Imperial Agent - Cybertech Bounty Hunter - $$$ profit?? Slicing++ senth trill usk forn forn Upcoming characters Sith Warrior - Sith Pureblood male Bounty Hunter - Chiss female Smuggler - Twi'lek female Jedi Knight - ??? male/ female Trooper - ??? female/ male No scope three-sixty, legit, The Progenitor, kukki
  9. It's unfortunate. When I started playing, I expected that instead of gaining both light and dark side points, they would simply move me closer towards one side or the other. I also expected there to be dark/ netural/ light gear. To me this feature is quite a big part of the game and it is very disappointing to know that it is in fact just cosmetic.
  10. Force sensitives seem liker higher beings, as if partly ascended, thus normally they would stand against any non force sensitives. And that's what makes me a little uncomfortable, rp-wise, about this game- they're all on par. I fully understand the reasons and have nothing against it, it simply sometimes hurts my immersion.
  11. Lovely thread, went through it all, made up my mind about quite a few things. I am new here, so far I have a lv26 Shadow and a lv~7 Inquisitor. I really enjoy playing the Shadow and I will most likely play only it, for now, but eventually, I plan to check out the stories of all classes, and after this post I made up my mind- I will roll a Sith Sorcerer =) I plan on doing similar stuff with other classes too, example: Jedi Guardian DPS - Sith Marauder DPS Scounderl Healer - Imperial Agent Sniper/ Operative I am not interested in troopers and bounty hunter, so far, but I am certain, that after playing all of the character mentioned above, I will grow a desire to try out the last classes too =)
