  1. G0-T0 certainly operates differently, but I don't think that's the reason he has a appearent advantage. His biggest advantage comes from not being a part of the war and abstaining. I think if it was just Revan vs G0-T0 or Greivous vs G0-T0 that it could be a different fight. Also, if G0-T0 can't have the victor of Revan or Greivous assassinated right after the battle, then he loses a big part of that advantage. He has to get them killed very quickly after their victory. Question: what is G0-T0's proposed way of having Revan assassinated? How will he accomplish this?
  2. "Revan fanboi turn out is kind low." - lol yeah I haven't been doing a whole lot have I? But you made several good points in there. If Malgus beat Greivous then surely Revan can beat him.
  3. Preach it! I'm confident that Revan can and will get to Greivous.
  4. What's Greivous's defense against force lighting? As far as I know, he doesn't have a counter for it seeing as how he doesn't have the force. We see Jedi in the movies seemingly block lightning with their lightsaber, but it was my understanding that they were uding the force to direct the lightning into their lightsaber. Am I right or wrong? It just doesn't make since that a lightsaber could 'block' a bolt of electricity. As for the magnaguards, wee see Ahsoka beat 2 or 3 of them at once on Tatooine during the Clone Wars movie. She was just 14 at the time I believe. Those guys aren't that great. They won't change the fact that Revan can and will kill Greivous.
  5. It is entirely possible that Revan could kill Greivous 1v1 or with a handful of assassins in this match. I don't know why people don't agree. Just look at how many times he was nearly defeated in the Clone Wars. Part of the reason he escaped so many times is because of this: Jedi try to take prisoners. Revan is no Jedi. He is very cunning. He has tons of stealthy assassins on his side. He is better then Greivous 1v1. I'm unsure as to how G0-T0 will change things, but I'm still confident that Revan will beat Greivous.
  6. If you want more movies and content, then this is the best thing that could happen... If you're a purist and you really don't want Star Wars to change a bit.... then this is the absolute worst thing that could ever happen... I say it's a good thing.
  7. No. Revan ain't stupid. Far from it. I'd like to address something that Canderous Odro says about Revan. I know he says at one point Revan used "mass deceptions." That doesn't mean much in and of itself, but it means that Revan is capable of setting up a clever tricks on both/either Greivous or G0-T0 as I've said. Revan is plenty cunning, and he's plenty powerful one-on-one.
  8. Geez I have barely done a thing in this debate. I would usually make a big push for Revan to win, but I'm feeling lazy today. I still think Revan wins though.
  9. I'm very doubtful that G0-T0 OR Greivous have the tools to kill Revan himself.
  10. Good point. For these reasons I feel that Revan could and will beat Revan in a duel. Revan will also have several assassins with him. Remember' powerbases are useless if you can simply cut the head off of the snake. Revan will do just that. However I feel if I keep arguing this that I will repeat myself unecessarily. I'm going to move on and, for argument's sake, say that Revan does kill Greivous. Beating G0-T0 will be no easy feat. But I can think of at least one solid way that Revan could find out info concerning G0-T0 and how to find him: Assassins. They will capture one of G0-T0's men and torture him (this is what the assassins are best at!). Will this, alone, get Revan to G0-T0? No. But he willl learn much about his enemy and that his enemy is aboard a stealh ship over Nar Shaddaa. Now all that must be done is for Revan to discover a way to reveal a stealthed ship. This is possible. Not easy, but possible. Once Revan finds G0-T0's yacht, he blows it up. If he can't do that (which would be silly) then he'll send aboard dozens of assassins and perhaps Malak. Revan will stay back and watch the fireworks from a shuttle. If he sees any sign of escape, he'll jump on it like a hawk. NOTE: of the 3 people in this Kaggath, Revan is the only force-user. He won't be easy to assassinate.
  11. I'm not saying that Revan could beat all those battle droids. I'm saying that he is more then capable of escaping from them.
  12. Seriously? You don't think that Revan + Malak + several dozens of Sith Assassins could beat Greivous??
  13. Powerbases aren't important if Revan can beat Greivous one-on-one. Let's face it; with all the assassins and what-not that Revan has at his disposal, Revan could surely defeat Greivous. There are numerous ways this could be accomplished in many ways. Here's one: Remember how Kit Fisto nearly beat Grievous? Greivous cornered him and came after him. I'm sure some of you would claim that Kit Fisto is stronger then Revan. If that is so, Greivous would feel pretty confident that he could beat Revan. He would try. He would fail. Revan could set a trap. Make himself seemingly isolated. Greivous would come after him and then Revan's stealthed assassins would leap out and BAM... you've got Revan vs Greivous, surrounded by Revan's assassins. This is not a situation that Greivous would survive. That OR many other traps and assassination techniques could work on the general. Greivous may have the better powerbase, but Revan can kill Greivous and that's all that matters. Also: could someone tell me how Greivous is gonna kill Revan in the supposed scenario where he defeats Revan's empire? Can Revan not flee as well? I disagree that the war would ever get to this point, but even if it did Revan could still assassinate Greivous. I confess, I'm not entirely sure what G0-T0 is gonna do during all this. I will say this: I don't think G0-T0 can muster/create an army to match that of Greivous or Revan. So.... regardless of who win with the Revan vs Greivous sub-Kaggath, we need to ask ourselves this: How easily can Revan assassinate G0-T0? How easily can G0-T0 assassinate Revan? How easily can Greivous assassinate G0-T0? How easily can G0-T0 assassinate Greivous? In my opinion, the above questions are what matter the most once G0-T0 is in the fight.
  14. It's not a matter of heat or science. The Lord of the Rings makes it pretty clear that the one ring can only be destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom. I'm sure its got something to do with magic and what-not.
