Thanks to everyone who came! If you weren't able to make it due to time conflicts I'm accepting screenshots for participation prizes. The event will be taking place approximately 7pm Pacific time on Voss. -Each participant will get a chance to show off his or her favorite outfit. Each entry will be scored by a panel of judges based on their own assessment of attributes such as creativity, attractiveness, etc. -The judges' scores will be averaged to decide the top 3 participants, who will earn prizes: 1st Place: Advanced Black-Green Color Crystal 2nd Place: 2 Color Dye Kits 3rd Place: 1 Color Dye Kit -Apart from the judges' prizes, I will be awarding each participant with a unique title based on their overall look, which will be released in a video covering the event. -The event will take place at the Tower of Prophecy on Voss -The event will most likely be narrated on TeamSpeak, with everyone welcome to listen in. -It should be a safe zone, but please unflag yourself just in case, we want it to be a friendly event. -On the day of the event, get in contact with Kirax or Urdnought to find out when you're up. -Contestants will be walking down one of the ramps seen in the picture when they are called, then feel free to pose/emote for the camera. -Make sure your outfit is ready to go when you're called, don't forget things like which weapon you're using! Because you are a sneaky side capping cheater. It would be great to have a 4th team on Mondays, right now it's usually 1 group sitting out while the other 2 play. Sometimes can be frustrating to queue for 2 hrs and get 3 matches. Would be awesome if you guys could get a group, I recognize a few of those names and I hardly pvp outside ranked. I would say don't be discouraged if you lose at first, since GD and ASB have been practicing strategies and team coordination for a long time. And even though Infamous haven't been doing as much ranked for as long they are very strong as well.

Tactics is really good for objective based play imo. Like Melyn said I am in Tactics most of the time in Ranked PvP. However, it is not a "dueling" spec. Tactics requires you to rely on your team a bit more though (to finish people off when they are low). In my view Tactics is for charging into groups of enemies and doing massive AoE damage while staying alive. Assault can kill someone faster 1v1 but if you really want to duel people you should probably roll a Shadow or something. Oh and you shouldn't count out shield spec, you can actually 1v1 a lot of people it just takes longer. Here's what I see as the pros of each spec: Tactics - Excellent AoE damage - Good mobility - Great survivability Assault -Very high single target burst -Slightly more sustained dps on a single target -You get to set people on fire! Shield Spec -You're pretty darn hard to kill (not a Guardian with the cooldowns, but still tough) -Extra CC through your pull, leap, and stealth scan -Surprising amount of burst damage for a tank TL;DR you should play Tactics focusing on the objectives, not on dueling people. It's a good spec but not many people play it because it relies on having backup. Also the link to your spec seems to be broken, here's what I usually run. Well I don't PvP much but my original nemesis was Flux on Vrook Lamar. Him and Desi were the only ones that could really challenge me and Melyn in Huttball, and it was annoying. There were a couple other good Vanguards but they weren't as annoying. Honorable mentions: Melyn. He keeps asking me to play ranked even though I hardly PvP. Normally I don't like the pressure but I usually have fun anyway. Also he's always on my team so I don't get to stealth scan him Valya/Krronn. Y U FLAME/POISON ME IN THE FACE On the plus side you've given me a reason to play Tactics. "HOLD THE LINE IN YO FACE, EAT MY PULSE CANNON PLOX." - Super satisfying after playing Assault (ironic how "assault" implies I'd have any sort of ability to move towards you). Jaadis.
