  1. I know it will never happen but I'd throw my saber in to wanting this feature. I came and go from the game a lot and I can't even count how many times I've deleted and restarted characters because I forget what happened previously lol. The stories are really great but only if you stick with them from start to end in a short period of time. Take a break in the middle, then you come back and you don't really recall anything and it ruins the experience. So you restart again. Being able to simply reset and keep gear would indeed be great as we all tend to build up cool character looks and what not that you just can't transfer due to bound items. Unless your look involves either legacy bound or cartel looks.
  2. So explain to me why I have to wait 6 hours to get this patch if its already done? This is a progression breaking bug - IE we have paid for this expansion and can't play it! Also I am highly suspicious this will fix the Chapter VII issues given that I did not patch during the early window when you had the problem. I started up long after so should have gotten the normal full patch.
  3. Hi VII is broken for me. My class is Imperial Agent and yes I was in the chapter last night before the maintenance. I was with T7 doing the surveillance stuff, and then when I finished with that I got a holo from Senya asking for my help. I went to the cantina, but did NOT enter the actual quest phase because it was late and I didn't want to not finish it. So I logged out in the cantina just in front of the green quest phase where presumably Senya was. When I logged in after the patch this morning, I was still in the same place physically but the quest phase showed red, not green, and according to my quest log I had to start Chapter VII all over again! So I gumbled, then started over. The first oddness I noted was that while I was repeating the quests, none of the bonus quests where available to me. Then I got to the step where T7 and I have to download the surveillance logs. I don't know if it is a coicidence or important but this is the last quest I had finished last night. However this time I am now unable to finish it. After accessing just two of the sensor nodes, the next step is to access a terminal but that terminal is not usable for me. It shows the tooltip but does not light or nor become interactable. EDIT: Should I put in a support ticket? I am now blocked and can't continue KOTFE
  4. I'm depressed to hear that the Class bonus isn't noticeable. My biggest complaint about alts in this game is that you have to do all the same side missions every time you level a character. Not only does that get annoying and boring because you've done them so many times, but IMHO it actually ruins the class story line. The class story tends to feel watered down and irrelevant when you do one class mission for every 10 or 20 side missions. I was REALLY hoping that this new class experience bonus would allow one to level solely on class missions and skip the side missions
  5. I think the only piece missing is the bracers. It pretty much is a full set.
  6. And hence the complaint and why I listed it in the Whats Bad section. This is confirmed. They are progressive.
  7. No, you are wrong. I don't mind doing the dailies (though I think dailies in and of themselves are an unimaginative mechanic that needs to die), the problem with the dailies in this event is that if you started late, or missed a few days, you absolutely can not get all the quests and armor since they are progressive over 6 or 7 days. Many people play MMOs on the weekends only and that should have been taken into account.
  8. No, you can't. You have to do one each day to unlock the next. They are progressive. To get the entire set of oranges takes 6 days minimum if my math is right.
  9. I was excited to finally see a dynamic event happen in the game, something outside the norm, but I think this event could have been done a lot better and hopefully feedback will make future events more fun. What I liked about it: I enjoyed the fact that there WAS an event. Getting together with guildies and taking down the bosses on Tattooine was a lot of fun. The outbreak virus mechanic was pretty cool except for one major exploit which I will cover in the BAD section. I would have liked to see this be something more than just a way to slip in yet more dailies, but overall it was cool. What I didn't like about it: This event was a wet dream for griefers, and outright punished the more casual players. On the griefing side, we have a virus that can be used to flag people for PvP even if they don't want to PvP, plus bosses that can be force taunted then run off, resetting them on an entire group. At one point I was in a group doing the patient zero guy by the sarlac pitt and there was a couple assassins who kept force taunting then force speeding past some point and instantly resetting the boss so we had to summon him again. He kept doing this over and over and we finally managed to defeat the boss only because we had like 4 tanks who kept force taunting as much as possible. It was very annoying and made the fight not a lot of fun. The event also punished casual players because of one mechanic, and that is the progressive dailies thing. There are 6 pieces of armor you can get, but if takes 6 days to do all of them. You can't do them all in one or two days because the game won't let you. You have to do the first one, then come back the next day before the second one will unlock, and so forth. This doesn't sound to bad, but the first one unlocked on the 15th if the internets are correct, and it ends on the 24th. You can't do a daily on the 24th though, so you essentially had between the 15th and 23rd to do them. That is 9 days, so if you started doing dailies a tad late, or missed a couple days here and there, it is impossible to finish the set of armor. Not a problem for people who can log in and play for an hour or two every single day, but not everyone can do that. This is why casual players are hurt by this mechanic. Personally, I generally work 12ish hours a day during the week so I don't really get to play except on the weekends. At best I would have had 3 days to do the dailies. I'm not whining about not getting the armor, though I am very disappointed, but instead i'm just trying to point out how it is a bad mechanic that punished casual players, whom I bet are a large portion of the player base. On a side note about special event rewards in the future -- If you are going to do color crystals again please consider adding some that are NOT the horribly ugly black core ones. Not everyone likes those, and since those were the major rewards a lot of us felt that the event rewards were pretty useless. I really just did the event to do the event.
  10. Almost everything sounds completely different. I don't know what they did to the audio because I didn't see a patch note, but even little things like selling gear sounds different. It has like a double "cha-ching" sound to it now.
  11. Personally, I would prefer them being usable whenever you have a companion out, not just when you use the heroic ability. This would still prevent you from using them in PvP and Ops.
  12. I find I actually prefer the current space system to a full on free 3d one. Why? It isn't that I don't love games like X-Wing or XvT, in fact I played way more of those games than I should have. But those are separate games. I really don't need two full games in one. I like the current state of space missions because they are a fun QUICK diversion, a mini game inside the main game. I can do them in a short period of time before work in the morning, for some extra credit and XP. I wouldn't be able to do this if they were full drawn out space battles. Now if the current system remains as is, and a new system was added, ala epic space battles with capital ships, then hell yeah. But that is in ADDITION to what we have now, hopefully not a replacement.
  13. With the huge emphasis on orange appearance items now, we need a way to preview orange schematics more than ever! PLEASE Bioware, add the ability to preview schematics, so we can see a schematic on the GTN, and ctrl-right click it to see how it looks, to determine if we want the schematic or not.
  14. Because I am an idiot and somehow managed to post in the wrong forum.
