  1. A good point well made, but just to make it clear i was not whining. I was just a bit bewildered by the offer. Next time I will finish reading the fine print before I come blundering in with my size 12's. lol "Players who have already purchased Rise of the Hutt Cartel and are an active Subscriber on September 12, 2013 at 4:00AM PDT / 11:00AM GMT will receive a new title, “The Risen,” via in-game mail on or before September 25, 2013 as our appreciation for the purchase. Subscribers who purchased the Digital Expansion: Rise of the Hutt Cartel between August 11, 2013 and September 12, 2013 at 9:00AM PDT / 4:00PM GMT will be granted 1050 Bonus Cartel Coins in appreciation for their purchase of Rise of the Hutt Cartel in the last 30 days. The 1050 Bonus Cartel Coins will be granted by September 13, 2013 at 9:00AM PDT / 4:00PM GMT." There is the value (price:rak_02:) I was looking for.
  2. OK... Semantics is always fun, but the point remains the same.
  3. For me 100% depreciation on online content in the space of 2 weeks is kind of extreme, but like they said its NOT a big deal. I do however agree that it is a strange message to send to your customers, and I am obviously not the only one who thinks so. Why else have all these threads suddenly started popping up.
  4. I agree. Rocket punch will not be as much fun with out the knock back.
  5. Great idea. This would save me a ton of time logging on and off.
  6. I know it sounds a bit confusing and it does look like an odd approach to the problem. What I am suggesting an alternative to playing the same content again just because you want to change your advance class. Basically you play the content of your mirror class on the other faction. Once you have your character and the mirror class with alternate AC to level 50 you get the ability to switch over and utilize the AC as a legacy unlock. It could be done with an associated cost or limit to prevent it from being over used.
  7. Dear Bioware, I know that you are against implementing Advanced Class re-specs, and to some extent I understand why. The last thing anyone wants to see is easy access to class changing. I image it could cause all kinds of problems with class popularity due to ever changing and usually minor class balance issues. However, in my opinion, there are some more legitimate reasons for wanting to change AC. For me it is all about play style. Eventually I decided to get around my problem by rerolling and playing the mirror class version of my favoured AC. I had a few problems with this. 1 - Leaving behind friends, guild, achievements and credits by switching faction. 2 - Preferring the "star wars fantasy" of the other class. My suggestion is a way for people in my situation to get around these particular problems. I purpose using the legacy system to allow the adoption of an AC from a mirror class once both characters are level 50. Granting the ability to switch over and utilize the AC as a legacy unlock. This way if you want to change your AC, instead of just deleting and re-rolling the same class again and playing through all the same content for weeks, you could get to experience the story of not only the other class but also the other faction. You still need to put in time so re-specing AC would not be easy, but it would be significantly less boring than going over the same content again. In fact I would find it quite fun. It would even work as a nice incentive to play the other faction. I know nothing about developing computer games, and appreciate that there may be many reasons why this is not workable. I just wanted to share my thoughts. I would also like to add that so far I have had a lot of fun playing the game, and I look forward to experiencing the many new features of patch 1.2.
  8. A lot of the Crew Skills seem to be geared around leveling up. Cyber Tech is great for leveling because you can get modable gear and keep characters up-to-date easily. I have noticed that there is now a good range of things you can buy on the market while leveling. I seem to sell prototype items pretty quickly as well. I know this has nothing to do with the level 50 economy and end game skills, but i think if you are patient they will begin to bring in new schematics that are more useful in endgame. Right now i think it is understandable that the focus is on leveling characters as this is what most people are still doing. The professions that need the most love are the ones that craft items such as Synthweaving. I have been trying to make a modable item with an augment slot (which could actually be useful) but no luck so far.
  9. I have been trying too but so far no augment slot... maybe its not possible or perhaps the games just hates.
  10. For me it is always seems to be the robot that comes back from a mission, butting in and covering my Operations Frames just as I try to make a crucial heal. I want to punch him in his stupid metal head!
  11. Whats with the wing mirrors on the PvP helmet! do they help you see 360? Or are they indicators i cant decide.
