  1. Just to say, I already had Forest Nekarr. Bought a new card from Amazon.de. No pet
  2. Well I don't think my spending is even that high. I had a look at my account. Since 1st Jan, I have made two purchases from the website, one for 5500 and one for 14500. The first one was more than a month ago and both were in January, so it seems like it must be a rolling 30 day limit, but it seems like 14500 must be the limit. Which is weird because other posters are saying they have bought more. What I also don't get is, why is the limit secret? I get that there could be reasons for MMOs to have limits - for example, you can sell hypercrates for credits, which means someone could be getting very rich if they could use unlimited coins (although I wonder if that would be common enough to be a problem). Why can't they just say there is a limit and tell us what it is? What nefarious scheme could I construct from knowing the limit, except for not being constantly irritated? I feel like they have created this problem. I want to buy more coins now because they have brought out a new pack. A hypercrate costs around 7000cc and you usually need to buy two or three hypercrates to get everything from the packs. So they decided when to release a new pack, they decided how much it would cost, they decided how many items would be in each pack and they decided the rarity. But when I try and play their game, somehow I am spending too much money?? If there is a low monthly limit, then bring packs out every 2 or 3 months and avoid the problems for customers.
  3. So, a new cartel pack has come out, but I can't buy cartel coins. I call customer service, they tell me there is a temporary block and I need to wait 24hrs. I wait 3 days, no luck, so I call back. And there are so many things wrong with the answers I get! The problem is, there is a monthly limit on the number of coins you can buy. I never asked for there to be a limit, but BW has decided to fill the role of my bank manager and tell me how much money I can spend. I work for my money, it's legal and I know what I can afford. So where do BW get off telling me how much I can spend? This is a leisure activity, it's not drugs or alcohol or something that could hurt me in large quantities. If I have $10,000 a month to spend (I don't!), I don't see why it is up to BW to tell me what I can spend it on. That's between me and my credit card and I find it incredibly patronising that they feel to need to police my spending. Another terrible point - failed transactions count towards my total!! So, I try today, I get an error. I think "but BW told me it would after 24hrs". I try again. I then think maybe it is that amount, so I try a different amount. It fails. It turns out, ALL these transactions have counted against my total, even though I have not been able to buy a single coin! Not only that, there is a 3-a-day transaction limit and, despite not having a single coin, I've now exceeded my daily limit!! It is unbelievable how hard I have to work to give BW money! Oh and they also refuse to tell me what the monthly limit is - why, I have no idea. And they also refuse to lift the limit, even though they have verified that I am the account holder and I am TELLING them that I do not need them to act like they are my mommy handing out pocket money! It is a very long time since I had to ask someone's permission to spend money. I know children play this game, but I am over 18. Frankly, I think it is for their parents to police their spending, not BW (maybe they are a rich kid and have their parents' full knowledge and permission). And I would be perfectly prepared to send BW a copy of my passport of driving licence to prove my age. But no. BW have decided to be my mommy and there is apparently nothing I can do about it. I know I won't get it, but I would really love a dev response telling me why they feel that I am not able to decide my own spending. And adding failed transactions to the total is just ridiculous! Who is that supposed to be helping? Even if they have decided to police my spending, surely we can all agree that I didn't even SPEND any money?? Is this supposed to stop gold farmers? If so, surely it would be easy to look at my account and see that doesn't apply. I have 16 lvl 55 toons. I've been playing the game for years. My spending history is totally normal - a couple of hypercrates when a new pack comes out, any new items direct from the CM and the odd legacy unlock. I'm clearly not a gold farmer. So what is the point of all this?? I find it incredibly frustrating. Oh, and the best part is - the CS people keep recommending that I buy from Amazon.com instead! So it's not that they don't want me to buy cartel coins, it's that they want me to pay more for them! And when I pointed out that I am not in America, so the only way to buy coins from Amazon.com is to use a VPN and a false US address - basically commit fraud - the guy continued to recommend it. Clearly his script didn't allow for the idea that I might not be in the US - despite the fact I hadn't called in on the USA phone number! I can't even believe I have had this much hassle for trying to give them money! And I know everyone will tell me just to give up, but I actually do want to buy coins. Apparently this is not what BW want me to do. If there was ever a time for me to have a temper tantrum and declare that I am going preferred, I think this shining moment where I have to beg BW to let me give them money would definitely be the time! I know I won't get an answer, but hopefully someone at BW will actually read this and realise how much they are annoying their customers! Oh and one final thing - BW are the ones who set their prices! I wouldn't need to buy so many coins if everything was 10% of the price. Why charge so much and then have low monthly limits? In the last 90 days, I have made one purchase of 14500 coins - which is the lowest single amount you can buy to get ONE hypercrate. They are the ones selling at these prices, so what do they want from us??? tl;dr Haz monies, WTB cc
  4. There are already bottoms that are as close to naked as it is possible for the game to go. They don't want to suddenly have their game rating go through the roof. What exactly do you want that isn't already available? Do you actually want visible genitalia? Otherwise I don't see how they could use less fabric than the numerous outfits that already exist.
  5. Why do you say it's a bad idea? If someone is a jerk, it stands to reason they'll be a jerk on every character they play, right? So why wouldn't you want to ignore their entire legacy? I'm genuinely curious. Personally, I don't /ignore anyone. No one has ever upset me enough to get on there. They sure do keep trying though But I would love to be able to friend someone's legacy. It's become much more important since they introduced name changes because some of my friends started off with a pattern for their names which I could follow and have now evolved into completely different names. It's really hard for us to find each other and once I find them and ask them all their alts and friend them... then I lose it when I change toons.
  6. Define fair. This is a service that I pay for. They do not pay. Could you expand on why you think that is unfair? It sounds a lot like commerce to me. There are plenty of things that I want in life, but if I don't pay for them, I don't expect to receive them. All the F2P vs subs things are supposed to be annoying. That's the point. It's encouraging you to sub and actually pay for the game. F2P have never contributed a single penny to the game, so of course they miss out on some things. BW aren't running a charity here. F2P is a promotion to show you the game so that you can choose to sub. Otherwise you are basically on a trial version forever. tl:dr No, they can sub like the rest of us.
  7. ^ This. My most wanted item in the whole game.
  8. Well, I'll be the guinea pig. Just ordered an EU pet and I already have the Forest Nekarr, so I'll let you know what happens once my code arrives. On the plus side, if the new codes give the old pets too, we might have a chance of getting the Crested Orokeet. On the down side, if the new codes give both pets, don't we all feel stupid for buying the cards the first time around?
  9. Has anyone else gotten the new pet from an EU card yet or was this a fluke?
  10. Ok, confusing! And really bad news for APAC who have to try and plan their raids around the announced maintenance schedule
  11. They finally fixed it to allow it to be completed in patch... 2.5 I think? And promptly removed the Beastmaster of Ilum achievement from Ilum. It was obviously still broken because you needed beasts on different planets, but it was achievable. Then, just for giggles, they left it in the meta Galactic Explorer achievement. It was completely nonsensical, but the devs are yet to comment on why they did it. I honestly can't work out a rational explanation that doesn't involve them not knowing their own achievements system and completely forgetting the meta achievement. Although they did also just lose the Black Hole Exploration achievement, so it's not been going particularly well recently for achievement hunters
  12. Is it just me, or was it a day early? I don't know if I am confused by time zones. But in the dev blog, Tait and ServerDroid are posting about 10th February maintenance on 9th February?
  13. If there are any comps you don't like, then apart from a small part of your story quest (usually just one planet), you'll never need to speak to them.
  14. Levelling is a huge part of the game. Don't like, don't play.
  15. Tactical flashpoints are designed to be done with any four roles. If there is no healer and no tank, then dps need to mitigate their own damage (which they should be doing anyway, but it's usually hidden by a good tank or heals). So I'd say the only thing you did wrong was to be naive enough to think someone would actually listen to advice
