The goal is not quiting cause it sucks. We are quiting because we will be back when its what its suppose to be. I refuse to pay for a car that has no engine that I must push to work. So instead i bring it back to the garage and rent a car while I stop paiements on the car til lthey put in an engine. Then I return the rented car and get my car back and start paying for it again. Space combat is a joke. its fun the first time then after 17 times of doing the same exact tunnel vision gamestyle u get very very very bored. PVP is all about getting 8 inquisitors together an chain stunning people. so pvp = sucks. Then heroic+2 or +4 forces you to group with people you dont know for one of them to drop in the middle of it because life got in the way. Why have 5 companions when U can only deploy 1 at a time with you. and finally the ui sucks and we cant change it yet. So fix space Fix companions so i can deploy 3 of them with me in instances and only 1 in normal world. and let me customize my UI and then Ill be back and willing to pay for this game. till then i will go back to playing games I enjoy playing for the few hours week i can invest in games. A lot of people fall in that category and if you are to compete with other giants for game time from these people with lives then you better make it great which atm is far from it. Thats why i left. But I will be back since Bioware usually gets it right. EA is who made this what it is. Any massive online EA had a grip on failed. Earth and beyond and Warhammer are the best example of games that could have been great but EA messed up. Reminds me of Sony and all the great games like Vanguard and swg they messed up. EA and Sony should merge. Would make epic failures worth playing just to laugh hard. they should have left Bioware alone and maybe then swtor would have had a better fighting chance. So see you back in a few months or years when swtor is great and fun to play for more then 3 weeks.

there is no category for space combat since there is no space combat. look for a category called Tunneled Joke of a wanna be space thingy pewpewpew repeatable crap with no soul. Also the game is called star wars. Star Wars. Not Ground Wars or Planet Wars. Where is my capital ship peons so I can fight among the stars and detroy fleets of noobs. hehehe. Ill pass. Im gonna step back since I never play a mmo at launch because of the lack of features and massive bugs and influx of morons that usually come with it. This game was special and made an exception and do not fully regret it. But I will go back to skyrim, Evochron, Eve-online, Batman, and diablo 3 when it comes out very soon. So work on a real space combat and exploration expansion and I promiss I will buy it and subscribe. Also stop forcing group play on people. Any heroic+2 or +4 quest should be identified differently on a npc so that solo players like myself wont even waste 1 second of there life. Because we simply abandon the quest once the dialog is over. So heads up would be nice to avoid the waste in time. And last but not least make it that I can fil la group with my companions if ever i want to try a group instance and dont want to group with ******* i found in a pug. Not that everyone are ******* do not get me wrong I did find great people I grouped with. But sometimes You group with someone and someting unexpected like life gets in the way and you must quite the game quick and let down all these great people. Would be nice that the 3 other are your companions who wont bother much if you drop out and come back later. So fix the game right up and ill be back in a few months. Oh also, would be great if your help the guys at wine to get this working in wine. Would have played much more then I was if it did. Its use to but one day something in an update broke it and now you can only play in winblows and not wine which runs on linux which is the only OS i can run on this computer where im posting from. I would pay 10$ more a month to have a reserved slot on my server for sure. then when people move on and the queues disapear like they will and always did then i would go back to paying normal 15$ a month but the reason they dont open another 100 sevrers and have 0 queues is because a lot of morons will only play the first 30 days and then wont have the cash or brains to keep playing. so Jan 20th you will see a lot of servers with less people. You dont want on month 2 to have to start server merging because of ghost servers. So its better to have long queues and make it seem as if the whole world is playing the game and have u frustrated a bit then to have all severs saying they are empty and then people might say no one is playing this game. So if you dont want to wait in line then play very early or very very late. Else shhhh they wont do **** about it i promiss unless the 20th of jan its still the same then i can guarantee a lot of new servers would spawn.

i run it at home on windows 7. But where I am during the day, I run Ubuntu. I can not install winblows on this machine since i need a linux base enviroment for many other things. I play wow and lotro in wine with out any issues. I just can not get swtor running atm but it will work eventually. Someone just needs to find out why this screen is hanging, patch wine and move on.

I have been trying for days to run it in wine and im running wine ver 1.34 and i get stuck at the screen before you can select a server. its as if the client never gets a response from the server to move to the next step. so I have a nice picture of a Jedi with a commando in bg and that little mechanical wheel that spins randomly at the bottom right just laughing at me and forcing me to play wow instead of swtor during the day It would be great if someone made it work. i want to play swtor so badly on this machine but cant atm but it will work eventually. Wine community is quite smart and will figure this out soon enough. most don’t have time to game so they don’t even have a subscription or early game access since they did not preorder. So I hope it does not linger till hey release a trial version for them to crack it

took 3 to 4 years for wow to implement a barber. just take your time to make your toon pretty before u rush into the game

I entered my code july the 26th and got an invite on the 4th wave yesterday. Had the game already preloaded and patched. Loged in at 5pm to reserve 4 names on my server where my guild is. no queue. First toon i logged in as I was asked to join my guild. the rest I had to wait for a guildy to login to invite them. Game ran at an average of 73ms 0 lag. I almost caleld in sic kto stay home to play the game today but resisted and im regretting it now. I will most prob stay home this afternoon though and play a good 4 hours before the wife and kids get home. Awesome game. launch will be great I think. Bioware are doign an awesome job regardless of the idiots who say this is the worst launch ever because they did not get an invite yet because they waited so long to pre order. I preordered the day it was annouced but gamestop were to much stupid to tell me the collector edition was Back ordered. I found that out 3 days later when i check the status of my ordered that had changed from pending to backorder. So I preordered the deleux digital on origin on the 26th and entered the code on there webpage the very same day about an hour after the order. So the game is not even launched and im playing it. For me thats an awesome gift from bioware to permit us up to 7 days before launch to play there awesome game. How can it be worst launch ever if its not launch yet So i wish you all to get invited soon else hold on tight the 20th is coming in fast. Its only in 6 sleeps

Also the game isnt even launched yet. so expect them to fill up quite fast on the 20th since over 7 million people pre-ordered the game. I just hope we dont have 7 hours queue on the 20th. If that happens ill just go back to skyrim a few days and let them launch a few more servers to balance it all. But have no fear this game will catch like fire and there will be a ****loads of light sabers and starwars noobs and starwars fans. Its star wars!!!!
