  1. LOL I like how you're so condescending without providing any proof why they are so good. Saying positioning is key is completely irrelevent when talking about the merc class specifically, because positioning is important for every class.
  2. uh, what? You do realize how easy it is to shut down a merc's dps in pvp? Mercs have awesome burst, but are way too vulnerable to interrupts killing their damage.
  3. You don't need legacy lvl 12, you just need someone who has the ship droid vendor to let you on their ship to buy it. It will cost you 100k off the vendor for the +5cybertech crit item.
  4. One reason stunning the ball carrier, which caps their resolve is a bad idea because PT/vanguard/sin/shadow have a pull back. The pull back doesn't work when their resolve capped. If their not resolve capped you can literally jump off the edge, while you're in mid air use your pull enemy and they will fall into the pit with you. The other option is pulling them backwards into the fire, which can kill them or do devastating damage. The issue with your scenarios is they aren't very specific, when stunning someone sometimes it's a good idea, sometimes it's not, it really depends on the classes present or the enemies around him. There are too many unknown variables to truly answer this question.
  5. I have to agree it makes no sense what so ever. I would honestly prefer if hammer shot was a channel like their free heal diagnostic scan. It just seems so annoying to hit hammer shot over and over to heal for free.
  6. You act as if every single profession, except biochem makes augments. I don't understand how you can honestly say having a reuseable items not a benefit? So what it if it has a few stats, you're saving a ton of money by not having to pop a new stim every 2 hours.
  7. I don't know what to tell you. A few days ago my buddy's account went from sub to F2P to sub over a period of a few days He didn't have the issue of havin his tradeskill revert to 400, his was always 450. I don't know what to tell you other then you're bugged in some way or you thought you had 450 scavenging.
  8. Yes, they are related, but I doubt anyone has gotten zero thermal regulators. If any of that were true they would of commented on it. It's funny they have commented on thermal regulators drop rate being too low for people who have been getting them, but they have never once responded to a thread about people receiving zero. It's quite obvious all these people who are getting zero are just exaggerating. I have gotten hundreds of thermal regulators and I have had a unlucky streak of not getting a thermal regulator 40-50 missions. I know what constitutes RNG and outright lying that people can't get thermal regulators.
  9. That thread has people talking about getting less thermal regulators in the patch, as in people are getting some, but the rate has dropped. That's a big difference from the people in this thread claiming to run 80+ missions and get ZERO thermal regulators.
  10. You lose credibility when you say luck has nothing to do with it, obviously with that statement you don't understand statistics. You lose more credibility when your math doesn't add up. Bountiful slicing parts mission costs 37XX, rich costs 38xx to run. To make math easier assuming both bountiful and rich cost 3700, multiple that by 80, you got 296,000 credits you spent. You're either lying about the amount of missions you ran or the amount of money you lose. Either way, your "evidence" is highly suspect given your #s don't add up. On top of this, if so many people are unable to get a single thermal regulator then why hasn't a dev responded? There are so many thermal regulators on the GTN, that it's proof a lot of people are getting more then enough thermal regulators.
  11. Depends on what you want really. In general crew skills aren't that useful endgame, so for my main chars I put biochem on them for the free reuseable. I do have cybertech, and armormech on my alts to craft myself augments.
  12. QFT. I have yet to see a dev acknowledge that some people are not getting any thermal regulators.
  13. I have to agree with others when you see a SS of 900k dmg with less than 20kills, I don't think wow they are awesome at killing stuff, all I see is inflated damage numbers from AOEing stuff that doesn't die.
  14. Sadly there are a lot of bad tanks and healers, especially at low lvls. Athiss is a joke, I healed that place without a tank because the assassin "tank" sold his shield. He didn't even know what a shield was until I asked him where his shield was. Also, every once in a while he would try to "tank" in a dps stance, making it so everyone else got aggro.
  15. Sins are better by a longshot IMO. Sins have better burst Sins are better stealthers at the huttball goal line OPs are better ball carriers if the sin isn't willing to respec to tank spec for huttball. OPs are faster from getting to point A to point B. Another thing to take into account is that a ton of people complain about the OP roll ability, so there is a decent probability it will be nerfed making OPs inferior ball carriers compared to deception sins. Depending, on how badly they nerf the ability they could be slower getting from point A to Point B. In the end I think a sin is a lot more fun to play because ppl play a DPS stealther for their burst capability. I do thoroughly enjoy the OP roll ability to get to fights faster or roll away from combat, but I still enjoy the sin better. Also, playing huttball as an OP is a lot less fun because you lack a lot of utility in that map. Being able to knock someone off is just so satisfying and immensely helpful to winning the match.
