Devs have said in interviews that there is a new planet, Denova, coming in the next major content patch. Does 'new planet' imply that this is an open, explorable world with its own quest hubs, or will it just serve as the backdrop for warzones, flashpoints and other instanced situations?

Hey everyone. I know this a newbie question, but do people (especially at end game) tend to keep two different sets of gear? One for PvE and one for PvP? I only ask because I know expertise is a PvP specific stat, so I'm assuming you'd want to wear expertise gear in PvP... however, is it better to wear dropped/crafted gear when doing flashpoints, quests and operations?

I found it really strange to be honest, and I'm not a troll or anything, I love the game to death. However, I did go on vacation shortly after launch and was gone for a month. Getting this email did feel slightly pathetic, I have to admit.

Just what it says in the title. So far I can get a green (default), blue, and purple schematic for a particular crafted item. Is there any point in REing purples? Is there anything beyond that?

So when I go to the character screen, this is what I see: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v155/machineman/head1.jpg Then I will highlight another character and then come back, and this is what it looks like: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v155/machineman/head2.jpg Notice how in picture one his head is in about the middle of the screen and in the second his head is near the top? There's some bug that prevents his head from being at the top from the get go. Since it's the background that also change sin each picture I don't think it's a problem with where the character model is, but rather the camera is placed in the wrong position before being "reset" when I switch characters and come back.

Does anyone else have this weird issue where whenever you go to the character select screen (whether it is when you first log in to the server or log out of the game and are taken to it) that the first character you see is placed considerably lower on the screen with their head somewhere in the middle rather than near the top? When I highlight a different character that character's head is near the top, and when I switch back to the other character their head is at the top too. This is hardly a game breaking bug or anything, but still strikes me as kind of weird, especially since it's been in there for at least 4 beta builds.

Please take your own advice. I'm not even in the game yet.

This is something I was wondering. If I make a character just to save a name, how long between deleting that character and being able to make another character with the same name?

This is something I've been thinking about since the Chiss were announced as well. It's not so much their dealings with the empire that confuses me, but that the Chiss didn't even know what a droid was during Outbound Flight.
