  1. Hopefully you will check this thread to read my response:) Yes, i got a fresh level 50 character as of yesterday. The reason i was dreading the experience that laid in wait for me, is because i know how easy it is to kill people in pre-champ* gear. If you still do not get it, i leveled a second character to 50. I'm sure you have heard of the guild "Ventures", most of us stopped playing in early January due to the many problems with this game, but we rocked the server when we were active. We were also responsible for most of the drama that occurred in that time-frame So you see, i do have some experience with you, but more importantly i have loads of experience with your guild..They make "Green fire" look like pros Also id like to thank everyone commenting after me, for validating my points, thank you!
  2. Obviously you are a better scoundrel player, then a sage player. If you got the time, ill be happy to educate you on how to play a sage to the skill-cap, seeing as we are on the same server. *Edit* Just noticed your names, and i know for a fact you are not a "1v1 king", if anything you are below average.
  3. Sorcs are not a bad one vs one class. It’s the player using the sorc that is terrible, people just claim they are bad in one-vs-one, because it’s more apparent that you are terrible when you don’t have a group hand-holding you.
  4. I hit level 50 yesterday morning, and I have been dreading the experience that laid in wait for me. Oh boy was I surprised. I was actually able to kill stuff with my level 45+ orange stuff. After a quick warzone to get the last coms for my 6 bags, I got one piece of equipment, and then did some of the daily quests, which in turn granted me even more equipment. I got two champion pieces with the rest a mix of cent with a few orange pieces. I have issues with this game, I’m no fan boy.. I have already cancelled the game. But being a fresh level 50 player in sw-tor is by no means hard.
  5. Would doing warzones, but doing pve solo qualify? The experience thus far has been one long & lonely journey. If i had skipped warzones entirely, it would still be possible, but oh my god the farm would have been massive. I am constantly 2-4 levels below the requirement for the planet, not sure ill hit 50 when i am done with the last quest-hub planet. Gearing with accommodations was easy, even if i was doing flash-points i would most likely pass on all loot (orange trooper armor + jk + upgradeable mods = win)
  6. Haters gonna hate. Enjoyed your revenge, hilarious ending =)
  7. Its a nice story, but nothing to debate here. Whine threads on the other hand, got loads of stuff to debate.
  8. Holy ****, you have few keybinds
  9. yeah, its pretty dumb. Scored three times in a huttball game, completely solo. Scored in the 400 range. Low amount of medals due to spending time winning the game, and not damaging/guarding/taunting. On the scoreboard it looked like i had been AFK the entire match.. Never touched the ball again after that.
  10. Darkfall counts as a PvP game right? You make fine points, most of which i agree to, but in this age and time, people will pursue the easiest and fastest way possible to obtain their precious pixels. Sure there are the odd players grieving others, but they would do it regardless of reward. Ilum gives superior valor Other planets gives far less (maybe a tenth of the valor, you would have gained in Ilum) People pursuing gear and what not, would stay at ilum. -People grieving would get a small reward. +People in the same level range would have a reason to fight. I seriously cannot see the level 50 imperials actively hunting republic players on say Voss, for a mere 20 valor reward per kill. Much less making groups to do it. As far as i am concerned, this change nothing in the high-level vs low-level relation. But yeah, that list got to have priority thats for sure.
  11. Sure i am willing to sacrifice PvE accessibility, thought everyone rolling on a PVP server agreed to that? Thought a small reward like 20 valor (and merc medals? thats the norm right? Have no idea, because im not 50 yet) would not get all the 50s to camp places like Voss and whatnot, but instead promote PvP between somewhat equal level players. (You get about 10k valor per hour in ilum, from what my level 50 mates tells me). Warzones are meh, i much rather have a longer and more exciting leveling experience, with all it entails. Right now, you do not experience world PvP unless you actively seek it out, by ignoring your own quest-zones and enters theirs (Although thats not always possible either).
  12. +1 I believe the tool-tip on the merc badges claims they are rewarded for doing word-pvp, alas i have never gotten one for doing pvp outside ilum. To the player above me, we rolled on a PvP server and thus are prepared to face the consequences. As of this moment, being a republic player on a empire heavy realm, i have only on a few rare occasions seen empire players willing to fight, outside ilum. There is way too much babysitting in this game, too many A4 corridors, with no other players. This would be a step in the right direction.
  13. Then again, give HoN pro's LoL and they would rage quit and LOL at anyone who think its a decent game ))))
