  1. People are taking WarZones and PvP WAAAYYYYY too seriously. I can understand that we all want to win every single game, but it doesn't work like that, especially when you're in a PUG. For example, last night, had a WarZone wherein I and another assassin stealthed over to the enemy node and attempted to cap it. Didn't work the first time, and midway through the second attempt, decided that there were too many snipers set up with their stealth detection at full stacks, so we were on our way to abandon that and head back to mid. One teammate in particular(named after an unpopular hairstyle and a creepy profession) completely flipped out. "OMG you stupid a-holes!" he would yell. "Stop screwing around at their node! you're the reason we're losing!" He literally ranted for half the match, stopping each time so he could type out his displeasure at the fact that we tried to ninja cap the enemy node. These types of people are frankly, too rampant on the servers. I'm not asking that it be like Hello Kitty or Sugar and Gumdrop Island, but it worries your team mates when you lose your mind and get so wound up that you nearly give yourself a stroke. It's a game, relax. I can understand how you would be frustrated when throughout the entire match, you have a teammate who won't stop doing stupid crap, such as a marauder, who kept following the assassins to enemy nodes, and wouldn't stop, despite being asked to cut it out numerous times. Thus, this marauder alerted the entire enemy team to his stealthed teammates. I can also understand the viewpoint of "Why play if not to win?" Like everyone else, I like to get my weeklies done, so winning is a good thing. But flipping out because the enemy team got slightly ahead of you or that you are losing is beyond reason. IT. IS. A. GAME. It's not a life or death situation, though if you keep freaking out, you may very well burst a blood vessel or choke on your cooler ranch doritos as you are playing. You're not always going to win. Period. TL;DR - This is a game, no need to flip your crap in warzones when any tiny little thing doesn't go your way.
  2. OK, I have some suggestions that should help get people interested in ALL the aspects again, except for Space Combat. First, the Hutt holostatue, and probably the Satele Shan and Darth Malgus statues should be able to train in the crafting professions as well. Second, in regards to crafting, to get some interest back into it with anything OTHER than Biochem: Biochem is fine, leave it as is. Cybertech: Have craftable mounts that have +100/110/120% speed or a tier up for being unable to be knocked off. Armstech: Be able to craft Dread Guard and Elite War Hero weapons, after purchasing the schematic Armormech: Same as Armstech, but also top-end mods Synthweaving: Same as Armormech Artifice: Be able to craft better crystals and/or rare colors. Bring back "Heart of the Guardian" and "Mantle of the Force" from KOTOR, and make it so those crystals can only be used by people with 400 Artifice. Seriously, some of the armor looks terrible for some classes. Especially for Consular. Campaign/Black Hole/Dread Guard/War Hero/Elite War Hero armor for consular looks like womens clothes. I don't want to buy a full set of orange gear and rip the mods out of them and place it into the new orange gear. Where's the awesome gold armor that as advertised when the Dread Guard was first introduced? UPDATE THE COLLECTORS EDITION VENDOR!!! It's been 13 months and only 1 new pet had been added. Shake things up a little, throw the PvP and the PvE crowds for a loop, and have a WarZone that ignores Expertise, and have 1 Operation/FlashPoint that uses Expertise. Field Respec should be higher priced, but Legacy Wide. More options for family trees Bring in a way to trade off Tokens of Enrichment or Rahkghoul Blood Samples that some people might still have lying around, probably for credits. that's all I have time to post right now, I will post more later.
  3. I really love these builds. I took the first build, and took the point from Sabatuer Belt and 1 point off contingency charge, and put them into Holed up though. As well as taking the 2 from Underworld Hardships and put them in Cool Under Pressure.
  4. Why does it look so damn much like you're wearing dresses? The Tionese gear is almost as bad. The best looking armor I've seen for consulars is the Recruit/Battlemaster robes. BW, can we PLEASE get something that doesn't make my character look like a cross-dresser?

    PvP Quiters

Look, these threads like this have gone on long enough. People always complain about the so-called "rage-quitters". It's not a big deal, but any kind of de-buff or lockout from warzones is going too far. I am a night auditor at a hotel, and I can only play while I'm at work, as I live too far out in the country for anything better than dial-up. Sometimes a guest walks up to the desk, looking to check-in, or the phone rings or something that I am required to attend to happens, and I have to afk, even during a warzone. It annoys me to no-end when it happens, but i have to. Often, during that time, my toon will get killed, and the deserter timer will run outwhile the guests usually bombard me with stupid questions or find other ways to waste my time. IRL takes priority over a game. That's the bottom line. It would suck to be punished any further than being kicked out of the warzone when I am simply doing my job.
  6. OK, I know this isn't a big deal, but it is messing with my OCD. I'm looking to make a fairly intricate family tree. My Shadow is "Grandpa" He has 2 sons, a PT and a Commando The PT has a wife, an IA. Together, I want to be able to show that they have 2 sons. Now on the Commando, I want it to show that he has 2 wives (in my own head, say that one was killed before the other one came along.), but each wife is a different species. Basically, I would like to show that each wife, who has one child, are half-siblings. This is not a major thing, but at some point, I would like to see an update that can let me make a tree like this.
  7. So, it's been quite a while since I've played marauder or sentinal, and I've never been very good at either. Need some help with several things: The best current pvp skill tree for number 1 number 2 is the best rotation possible at level 28 and last is where do I rip mods out for +strength, +power, +crit?
  8. Another great section for dialogue would be things like the Gree Ambasador droid series of missions, maybe HK could understand them, and then request that they all self-terminate or something. Make HK more alive!
  9. Statement: It's not that hard to get HK-51. Observation: However, you do need a level 50, and at least a level 15 of the opposing faction. Query: After going through the simple, yet tedious missions of gathering his components, can't we at least get some dialouge from him through out <50 class quests? In all seriousness, I'd like if I could get into a conversation, say with the conniving senator from Corusant, and have HK make some kind of remark about it being easier to liquidate and delete the troublesome organics of the gangs, and have him make snarky remarks all through the story.
  10. Hi, so it's been a couple of months since I've played my shadow, which is currently lvl 48. I'm a tank shadow, so looking for a decent amount of survivability. Looking for advice on endgame gear, for both PvP and PvE. What mods should I rip out of what pieces and so forth.
  11. I've been a Commando since 1.0, and I agree completely. In 50 WZ, Commando just dies way too quickly to be effective. I've even been having issues lately where I'll hit my hotkey for Cryo Grenade, and it doesn't even start to throw it until about 10 seconds later, more than enough time for every single assassin, operative and marauder to maul me. When 1.2 came out, I was shocked that the class balance changes for Commando were almost all nerfs, with the exception of Mortor Volley working a tad more quickly. With the changes to ammo consumption to the Med Probes, you find yourself running out of ammo pretty quickly in a desperate situation. Frankly, Commandoes have had enough nerfs for a lifetime, time to give them some actual buffs so they can be worth playing again.
  12. Not sure if this has been suggested before, but one thing I'd like to see is an automatic email sent out to players regarding maintenence. Maybe not for the weekly maintenence downtimes, but definitely if it goes longer than expected, or finishes quicker than expected. Or if there are emergency patches and unscheduled maintenence that needs to happen, the email could be sent out. The reason I suggest this, is that I live WAY out in the country, like I don't even have reliable dial-up. BUT, my phone has a fast enough connection that notifies me of emails, and lets me view the subject line, if not the actual body. On my days off work, I will go out to the nearest town (25 minutes away) and go to the library to play. I hate when I go out, and waste the gas only to find out that there is something that was so critically broken during the most recent patch that there has to be unscheduled downtime. A simple email letting players know of this would go a long way for people in similar situations.
  13. So, I went to the Repub fleet today to go ahead and purchase RWZ comms... to find out that I am 13 levels too low. Being a level 27 with a valor rank of 27, I'm still at a point where I don't feel my WZ comms have any use. Seriously, if I could continue to increase my valor level without it waiting on my character level, things would be WAY better.
  14. So, basically, I have all the armor I can use at this point, that will change here in about 2 days, but when I go to PVP vendors, I would like to be able to buy my Battlemaster gear ahead of time. I know I can't use it, but for the in-between time of lvl 20-30 and 30-40 for PvP armor, I can obviously sit around with 2000 WZ comms for a long time. I just want to be able to buy stuff ahead of time.
  15. This. I do it occasionally too, but mainly when I finish with a respawn to see that my teammates have left the middle node in Civil War completely unguarded, and a single enemy walks is already on it, and gets it right before I can stop it. One of the basics for these is don't leave $#!7 ungaurded.
