  1. I wanted my female SI to hook up with Ashara so badly it's not even funny. I'd divorce Andronikos for her. That said, I think it's possible to have a same gender romance with her halfway though her storyline. I can dream. If they make it possible to date her as a female I would reroll in a heartbeat.
  2. Let's see, I've only played SI (to Ch 3) and IA (Ch 1) and I've watched my boyfriend play SW (to Ch3) and he and I agreed on the following: SW: Dark Side pure blood male Sith. It makes perfect sense since pure bloods are well respected and very likely to be aristocracy. SI: Dark Side anything but Twilek or pure blood because your ancestors are very unlikely to be Twileks and pure bloods are very unlikely to be slaves. Male and female both work since the romance options are both kinda meh. If you play male and want Ashara you should be more LS than DS and the opposite is true for females and Andronikos. IA: Mildly LS female Chiss. For one the female voice is amazing for agents and matches Chiss wonderfully and two: Agents don't like Sith, who are usually DS. Being LS makes you seem caring but sprinkle in some DS for effectiveness.
  3. "I will bring them to their knees." - Sith Warrior "I really am the best." - Sith Inquisitor Those are the ones I hear the most as my boyfriend and I level our SW and SI together. My agent loves to say, "Where do I fit in?" but that's already been covered. I do wish they'd say something else, but the fact that they say the same things over and over again makes it hilarious when they do say something different. (Such as SW saying sarcastically, "I speak basic...")
  4. I just posted the article to Reddit's LBGT subreddit. Hopefully it helps pass along the information.
  5. Been around a while and I normally lurk, but might as well post. I'm Merciter and I'm a former L turned B thanks to my wonderful boyfriend whom I love dearly. We kick around Ebon Hawk with our toons and it's only gotten better since completing chapter 1 and starting the legacy characters. Nice to see so much LGBT floating around the SW universe. I can't say I'm entirely surprised since every frandom is made from a wide tapestry of cultures and people alike, but it's nice to see a thread to it all outside of the SGR one.
  6. My highest toon so far is a level 32 SI, but I can tell you that if I had a choice I'd get to know Khem and Ashara first and foremost. I'm sadly closer to Andronikos because he's my only romancable (SGR soon plzkthxbai) and I'm a sucker for characters falling in love. I would not be able to keep up with all of the stories if I wanted to. I know that in Dragon Age I had to go out of my way to do Ogrem and Sten's quests and I would not be surprised if I have to do that with any companions after Ashara. This is in a way like real life: you pick who you want to know the most and you kind of stick with it.
  7. I noticed that. My boyfriend is playing a Sith Warrior and I'm an Inquisitor and his storyline with Vette (we haven't gotten to Jesea yet) is SO cute but mine with Andronikos is kinda flat. I'm a female player that enjoys wooing characters, particularly other females, so the fact that I'm stuck with 1. A male and 2. A male that's kinda boring makes me sad. SW get so much love in terms of flirts (if you're male) and it's hilarious to watch/play, but it makes me feel like SIs got the short end of the stick. If they give us SGRs then hopefully it'll make the game feel less like, "This is your only option cuz yeah we wanted it this way" and more like, "Yo, I heard you wanted a romancable companion that isn't flat as medieval earth, here ya go!" Ugh, I'm just rambling now.
  8. You mixed up the members. Light side exiles acquired Miranda (was that her name? it's been a while) and the dark side exiles got the wookie when they got that far on Nar Shadaa. It was possible to manipulate that and get Mira as a dark side exile, but you had to be light side first. I absolutely adored the handmaiden. I had to mod the game to have her since I only play female toons, but it was very, very worth it.
  9. I agree. I haven't really read any of the EU except from Wookipedia, but from what I have read it's worse than Episodes 1-3. I'd love a large reset button myself.
  10. As long as this nullifies the absolute crap that was the post ep.6 expanded universe, I'm okay with it. Who knows, this might inspire a new series of post ep. 6 games that will actually be good. Isn't there a Star Wars ride in MGM Studios? I haven't been there in almost two decades, but I'm sure there is one.
  11. That doesn't surprise me. It's because they don't find it important to include SGR. We can only hope it comes with Makeb, and if not then we can riot and picket with little virtual signs.
  12. Change Kira to any female romanceable for my characters (currently SI, IA, and JC) then yeah, I agree. I have complete faith that SGR will come. Bioware isn't Blizzard*, I'm sure they'll release it. A little info would be nice, though. *Blizz is the only mmo-rpg company I personally have experience with.
  13. Hah, thank you! I swear I read these "BW doesn't care" comments and I'm back on the WoW forums. All I want is to know how it's going along. I love Star Wars and I will play the game regardless, but having SGR would just make my day. I can't play a male toon and it bothers me greatly that my boyfriend's male toon can hit on all these women while my female SI can't hit on any of them. I just want a couple of cute flirts and a possible romance from my female companions. It's not all that much to ask for, really. If they just tell us how it's coming and reassure us that it is then I'll happily wait for it to be released.
  14. Hm, you brought up some interesting points. Here are some from both me and my b/f. 1. Same Gender Romance - I am a female that enjoys playing females and courting other females in video games (see DA I & II, KOTOR 1 and 2 with mods, Harvest Moon, stuff like that). I don't play male characters, I don't connect with them. That said, when I play it bothers me greatly that my female SI can't hit on Darth Vash, let alone hit on all the characters my boyfriend's male toon can. My boyfriend also wants to be able to hit on male NPCs if only because his character is power hungry and finds sex to be a great "influence" over others, even if his toon doesn't necessarily sleep with anyone. 2. Dark Side Choices giving Light Side Points and visa versa. There are some decisions that should give you dark side points, but give you light side ones instead. If you play as someone that's always trying their best to improve the empire then turning in someone should not be dark side, nor should taking their bribe! 3. Tulak Horde. My boyfriend said that there was some major retconning with his story and he's not sure how much he likes it. I haven't a clue myself since I'm not quite the SW nerd he is, so I'm just going to take his word for it. 4. No white lightsabers. I mean we have black, and in various colors, where did the white go? (I know they didn't implement it, but it was a really cool part of KOTOR 2.) 5. Hoods. I love my hoods, I really do, but there are times I want to keep the chest piece I have on yet remove my hood without having to turn on my ugly-as-sin helm. That's about all I've got, personally. I can ignore some things due to my extensive time on WoW (such as speeder from your butt), but these are little pet peeves of mine.
