  1. Frankly I doubt they read ALL, but sure do ignore most all post.. IMO the only post they ever respond or idea are ones that are already in the pipe.. It makes it look like the community had input.. I have read countless great ideas to make this game better, and NOTHING from the company..
  2. Ha Ha.. good idea, but that isn't going to happen anytime soon.. Bioware's pre-written story doesn't allow you that kind of freedom... Good luck
  3. But the thing is.. It's all a PRE - WRITTEN script.. We have no effect on the world or community.. All we are doing is opening a curtain to see what is already behind it.. I didn't make it, and I sure didn't live it.. EVERY single Sith Inquis. is repeating what I already did or vice versa.. it's NOT "my own damn story"...... HELLO.. It's Bioware's pre-written story..
  4. I assume it was to allow players to KILL off characters if you had overload.. Example if you had 8 characters on the destination server, and 4 more from one that is being closed down.. All 12 can't fit, so the transfer system gives you the choice which 8 live, and which 4 die a horrible "delete" death click.. LOL Good luck on your transfers.. today is my last day
  5. Ahh another genius.. Tell us how lag is "always" server side and never client side.... Tell us how when a group of 4 people team up and only ONE person of 4 lags.. It's server side.. I'm all eyes... Educate us..
  6. WoW didn't go from 200+ servers to a couple dozen in 6 months....... Just saying.. LOL
  7. Wrong genius.. lag can exist on either side.. Lag is ONLY means the ability to process information traveling both ways.. What I'm saying is that with increased population in small areas.. It's normally the client side lag unable to process the information coming in from server.. If you want to make it all about , "this is Bio's fault" then do so.. That is your option.. BTW Genius.. When I'm playing with a friends and they have better computers then me , and I lag and they don't.. That proves to me it's client side.. NOT server.. Think about it..
  8. Thing is.. servers had nothing to do the reason why I and most of my guild quit.. I have 1 day left to play and post.. Most of us left because the end game treadmill sucked.. It was the same boring grind that WoW did for years, Rift is doing now and SWTOR just had to repeat it.. Playing alts is equally boring repeating the same linear quest grind... When will the industry move away from chasing the ? and ! across the map.. When do I get to create my OWN storyline, not replay one already pre-written.. At least in EQ1.. MY DRUID was special... I can honestly say that NO OTHER DRUID went from 1-50 in my footsteps.. Today's gaming is one big boring linear themepark ride..
  9. FTP to level 15 does NOT equal "game is so awesome people are running to it".. Just saying.. When a company has to start giving out these promotional events after 6 months.. That is NOT positive.. The game is bleeding subs like Rift did.. Both copied the WoW end game that is a boring treadmill.. I'm still baffled that anyone still plays that for fun... Anyways.. SWTOR was fun for a few months, but time to move on.. NEXT..
  10. So basically SWTOR is going from over a 100 servers down to a dozen? WOW.. talk about mass exodus.. That is almost biblical.. Glad it was documented.. That has to hurt the pocket book.. I'm sure it'll be tweaked more in months to come.. maybe increase more destination servers, or drop.. The future is is not known in this one..
  11. If you have lag now after the transfer to a busier server, expect it to continue.. until people stop playing and logging on.. 90% of the lag and FPS problems now are client side, not server side.. You might want to move back to a lower population server to get better performance.. lol
  12. How many want to bet that in less then 6 months that the same people here saying how GREAT the game is.. will be playing something else and never admit to be a SWTOR fanbois in the past?
  13. I see I'm not the only person bored to death of dailies and instance grinds.. So bored I pressed "cancel" to save myself.. lol I shouldn't have to start alts to find things to do, and I sure as heck do not want to spend all my time in game hopping from one instance to another.. That is NOT the spirit of the MMO I grew up in.... I want reasons to play my "MAIN" character all the time when I'm logged on.. SWTOR should of focused on a different end game besides the overused instance grind for gear.. I personally would of preferred an open world dynamic system with earning AA's.. Imagine having a planet that is the size of Tattoine for example that allows both PvE and optional PvP The goal is to build up your faction while trying to destroy the others.. This is where you find NOT dailies but repeatable missions that are used to provide the resources for your faction cities growth.. Each day that planet changes due to the activity of the players.. The players have an actual impact in the game.. The heck with huttball, give the PvP people a reason to group up with a mass raid force and invade the NPC's of the opposing faction city and take out their General and destroy their base.. Give people a reason to defend it (or not)..
  14. Only 9 NA servers are allowed to transfer at this time! Did I read that correctly? As if that is going to help much to most players. If they are coming out with "mega" servers as announced... 70% of the servers should be closed down promptly.. At the current rate it will take a couple months to clean up the mess..
  15. The game is just another WoW clone formula with a touch of "KoTOR"... HELL, you can't even get opposing factions to level at the same time on the same planets.....( aka Taris) That shows just how single player flawed this game is.. IF the game was F2P co-op.. FINE.. but for a subscription based MMO's.. It's just another cancelled account..
